Decades of Cover-Up Are Over. People Want the Truth

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—At the time of this weekend’s U.S. Federal holiday in tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a group of 60 prominent Americans has called for re-opening the investigation of the murder of President John F. Kennedy and of other cases of assassination—Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, and Robert Kennedy. Their joint letter calls for a “public inquest” into “the four major assassinations of the 1960s that together had a disastrous impact on the course of American history.” They call on Congress to oversee the release of all government documents related to the Kennedy Presidency and assassination. The signers include Daniel Ellsberg, Oliver Stone, members of the Kennedy and King families, many experts, reporters and leading public figures. For example, a signer is G. Robert Blakey, Chief Counsel of the House Select Committee on Assassinations, which determined in 1979 that JFK was the victim of a probable conspiracy. The signers range from politically “pro-Trump” to “anti-Trump,” but they are acting in concert to bring out the truth.

Their action focuses new attention on the British-pedigree apparatus, which is the very same that went after statesman Lyndon LaRouche and associates years ago. This week is the 30th anniversary of their incarceration on wrongful Federal charges, for which LaRouche was jailed for five years. The policies he presented back then, for the way forward for the U.S. and internationally, were ruined. Now today, the same apparatus is threatening President Donald Trump, perpetrating a coup operation against his presidency. It is all one complex. LaRouche’s principles are embodied in a new “The Way Forward” program, released Jan. 15, “A Proposed Basis for Bipartisan Agreement and Action on Domestic and International Economic Policy.”

The British role in Trump-gate is fully documented in the new three-part dossier by LaRouchePAC’s Barbara Boyd, headlined in a Jan. 18 LaRouchePAC press release: “The British Were the 2016 Election Meddlers, and Are Directing a Coup Against President Trump.”

Also of note in this respect, is an exposé out this week by veteran investigative reporter Seymour Hersh, on the lawless conduct by George H.W. Bush, when he was Vice President, in conducting wetworks operations, completely in line with British geopolitical strategy, and completely outside any channel of U.S. government knowledge or control, including that of President Reagan. Titled, “The Vice President’s Men,” the piece, suppressed by the U.S. media, appears in the London Review of Books (Jan. 24 issue.)

Schiller Institute Chairman Helga Zepp-LaRouche, commenting on these developments, said, “The times of cover-up are over…. People have a right to know.” She drew out the point that, since the Kennedy assassination, a downward paradigm-shift in the outlook in the United States and Trans-Atlantic has occurred. Moreover, the scope of the crimes involved is not confined to the murders, cover-up, and lies, but includes how the nation and civilization have been deprived of the policy leadership that LaRouche would have exerted, and the joy in its results.

There is widespread pessimism today, commonly expressed as the view that, you can only “complain,” but not change anything. Many are so beaten down, that they have no idea how tell what is “true”; no idea what is “science.”

But nevertheless, there remains the human impulse “to know,” and to care. A model for this is the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa, which functioned for justice and mercy, at the end of apartheid. The signees of the joint letter into the 1960s assassinations call for an “American Truth and Reconciliation process.”

This week in Washington, D.C., teams will be distributing to Congressional offices the LaRouchePAC “British 2016 Election Meddlers” release, and LaRouchePAC’s policy document, “The Way Forward,” challenging the lawmakers and staff to “put principle above party and move the nation forward with the President.”

Sixty Prominent U.S. Citizens Demand: Reinvestigate U.S. Assassinations

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—To mark this year’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, 60 prominent American academics, lawyers, intellectuals, and researchers, including two of Robert F. Kennedy’s children, are calling on Congress to open new investigations into four assassinations of the 1960s, Consortium News announced in today’s issue, and included a list of signers of the call.

“On the occasion of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a group of over 60 prominent American citizens is calling upon Congress to reopen the investigations into the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., and Senator Robert F. Kennedy,” the statement says.

Signers of the joint statement include Isaac Newton Farris, Jr., nephew of Reverend King and past president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference; Rev. James M. Lawson, Jr., a close associate of Dr. King; and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, children of Sen. Robert Kennedy.

“The joint statement calls for Congress to establish firm oversight on the release of all government documents related to the Kennedy presidency and assassination, as mandated by the JFK Records Collection Act of 1992. This public transparency law has been routinely defied by the CIA and other federal agencies. The Trump White House has allowed the CIA to continue its defiance of the law, even though the JFK Records Act called for the full release of relevant documents in 2017.

“The group statement also calls for a public inquest into ‘the four major assassinations of the 1960s that together had a disastrous impact on the course of American history.’ This tribunal—which would hear testimony from living witnesses, legal experts, investigative journalists, historians and family members of the victims—would be modeled on the Truth and Reconciliation hearings held in South Africa after the fall of apartheid. This American Truth and Reconciliation process is intended to encourage Congress or the Justice Department to reopen investigations into all four organized acts of political violence….
“Signers of the joint statement, who call themselves the Truth and Reconciliation Committee, are also seeking to reopen the Robert F. Kennedy assassination case, stating that Sirhan Sirhan’s conviction was based on ‘a mockery of a trial.’ ”

New Seymour Hersh Exposé of George H.W. Bush Vice Presidency Outlaw Wetworks Operations

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—Veteran investigative reporter Seymour M. Hersh has a new dossier titled, “The Vice President’s Men,” on the outlaw wetworks operations by George H.W. Bush during his vice-presidency. The 12-page article, blacked out so far in the U.S. media, appears posted in this week’s London Review of Books (Jan. 24).

Hersh states that, “At his [Bush’s] direction, a team of military operatives was set up that bypassed the national security establishment—including the CIA—and wasn’t answerable to Congressional oversight.” As for President Reagan, the operatives on this team thought, “Reagan was ‘a dimwit’ who didn’t get it, or even try to get it.” He was kept out of any knowledge of Bush’s operations.

One priority of the dirty operations was to hit back at “perceived Soviet expansionism in more than 20 countries, including Peru, Honduras, Guatemala, Brazil, Argentina, Libya, Senegal, Chad, Algeria, Tunisia, the Congo, Kenya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Hungary, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia and Vietnam.”

Japanese Foreign Minister and Secretary of State Pompeo To Meet in Mid-February

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono and U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held a telephone conversation today, and agreed to meet in February before the second summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean Chairman Kim Jong Un, the Japanese Foreign Ministry and Sputnik reported today.

“Both ministers agreed to coordinate a proposal to hold talks between the foreign ministers of Japan and the United States in mid-February, if circumstances allow,” the Japanese Ministry’s statement said.

The Japan Times asserted in its headline that the purpose of the meeting was to keep pressure on North Korea. U.S. Secretary Pompeo briefed Japanese Foreign Minister Kono by phone on progress in negotiations between Washington and Pyongyang, and details about his recent meeting with Kim Yong Chol, a close aide to the North Korean leader, according to the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo.

The phone conversation followed the White House’s statement on Friday, Jan. 18, that U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will hold their second summit near the end of February at a location to be announced at a later date.

STRATEGIC WAR DANGER

Israel Launches More Airstrikes Against Iranian Military Presence in Syria

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—A wave of Israeli airstrikes hit Syria early this morning, between about 2-3 a.m. local time (00:00-01:00 UTC). Israeli statements indicated that the strikes were made in retaliation for a surface-to-surface missile strike aimed at the Golan Heights after (or during) a rare Israeli daylight strike on south Damascus carried out by its jets the day before.

Both the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have issued statements asserting that they will take any action they deem necessary against “entrenched Iranian” presence in Syria, and defended their strikes on that ground.

In China today, at the regular Foreign Ministry media briefing, spokeswoman Hua Chunying said that all sides should prevent increasing tension, Xinhua reported. “China has always stated that it is important to respect and defend Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. At present, political settlement of the Syrian crisis is at a key stage,” she stated. “We believe that all parties concerned should abstain from any steps which could lead to mounting tensions. The sides should also jointly maintain peace and stability in the region to encourage political settlement of the Syrian crisis,” Hua said.

At an IDF press conference this morning, spokesperson Brig. Gen. Ronen Manelis told reporters, according to the Jerusalem Post, “The firing of the missile yesterday, a launch that could have killed civilians, was fired by Iranians out of Damascus within an area where we were promised that there would be no Iranians.”

Manelis claimed that the missile launch from Syria on Jan. 20—which was successfully intercepted by the Israeli Iron Dome system, and the Iranian targets in Syria struck early on Jan. 21, showed just how deep Iran’s entrenchment in Syria is.

“This is the third time that Iran has tried to attack Israel in the past year,” he said. “Iran is exploiting Syria, and Syria is paying a heavy price for facilitating Iranian actions.”

However, the Times of Israel reported last night that the missile fired from Syria “was apparently a highly unusual retaliatory attack in response to an airstrike earlier in the day, which was widely attributed to Israel.”

As for the Syrian response, the Russian Defense Ministry said earlier today that Syrian air defenses shot down 30 missiles: “On Jan. 21, between 2:11 a.m. and 2:56 a.m., the Israeli Air Force carried out three air strikes on Syria’s territory from the western, southwestern and southern directions. While repelling the strike, the Syrian air defenses destroyed more than 30 cruise missiles and guided bombs,” the National Defense Management Center said. Four Syrian military personnel were killed and six others wounded. The Damascus international airport’s infrastructure was damaged.

Times of Israel reported yesterday, before this morning’s wave of strikes, that the Jan. 20 strikes followed the arrival of a Syrian cargo flight at Damascus International Airport from Tehran, and speculates that it was carrying a load of weapons. It also reported that an Iranian Mahan Air flight on its way to Damascus turned back because of the Israeli strikes.  It speculates that this flight may also have been carrying weapons, and states that Mahan Air is under U.S. sanctions because of suspicions that it is used to transport weapons to Syria.

New UN Envoy on Syria Talks Confirms Russia Is Playing a Key Role

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—Geir Pedersen, the UN Secretary General’s new Special Envoy for Syria, said today in Moscow that Russia is playing a key role in the settlement of the Syrian conflict. Pedersen made his statement during a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, TASS reported.

Earlier in the day, when Pedersen had met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Lavrov had told him: “We definitely highly value our cooperation in the Astana format and with the UN in promoting the political process in correspondence with [UN Security Council’s] Resolution 2254. So, we hope for continuity and your working experience both in the structures of your homeland and international organizations, including the UN.”

Lavrov highlighted the contribution of the previous UN envoy, Staffan di Mistura, to the implementation of Resolution 2254, which had made it possible to achieve numerous results “on land” in Syria, including humanitarian issues.

Lavrov also said that there is a growing understanding in the region that it is necessary to apply more efforts now to create conditions to facilitate the return of Syrian citizens who had had to leave the country. “Just a few days ago, participants in the meeting of the League of Arab States for economic issues spoke in favor of supporting Syria, so that Syrian refugees could return faster,” he stated.

Trump and Erdogan Have Phone Discussion Again on Syria, Among Other Topics

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—President Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone yet again, yesterday, at least the second time in a week, to discuss the situation in northern Syria.

“President Trump underscored the importance of defeating terrorist elements that remain in Syria,” White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said in a description of the call, reported Reuters. “The two leaders agreed to continue to pursue a negotiated solution for northeast Syria that achieves our respective security concerns. They also discussed their mutual interest in expanding the trade relationship between the United States and Turkey.”

According to Turkey’s official Anadolu News, the two Presidents agreed to take joint measures to clear the remnants of ISIS in Syria and prevent the group’s resurgence. Erdogan said that Turkey will not allow the Kurdish separatists, the PKK in Turkey, and the PYD/YPG in Syria, which Turkey regards as the Syrian branch of the PKK, to destabilize northeastern Syria. Erdogan also reportedly told Trump that the Jan. 16 terrorist attack that killed four Americans in Manbij was a provocation to hinder U.S. withdrawal from Syria, and he extended condolences for slain American personnel, Presidential sources said.

Separately, Erdogan said, in an video address to a unit of Turkish commandos on the anniversary of Turkey’s Operation Olive Branch against the Syrian Kurdish militia YPG in Afrin, that Turkey’s fight against terrorism will continue without hesitation in Syria’s Afrin, Jarabulus, and Al-Bab regions. “The fight in Afrin will hold an unforgettable place in our memories,” he said.

Erdogan vowed that the terrorists will not be able to stop Turkish troops or its ally the Free Syrian Army, and that, “We will bring freedom to all our Syrian brothers as soon as possible.” He also stressed, “Syria’s territorial integrity is now under our guarantee, and no division will be allowed here.”

How Turkey’s occupying Syrian territory, in opposition to the Syrian government in Damascus, guarantees Syrian territorial integrity is not clear.

COLLAPSING WESTERN FINANCIAL SYSTEM

Financial Press Unveils How Bank of England Corporate Debt Report Spooked Fed and ECB

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—Many British financial media are reporting on the statement of Bank of England Governor Mark Carney to the House of Commons Jan. 16, that the leveraged loan part of the “junk debt” bubble—which has become larger than the junk bond part—“has all the hallmarks of the subprime mortgage bubble” in 2008.

The BOE’s research, which Carney was formally submitting to the Treasury Select Committee of the completely distracted House of Commons, put the size of the leveraged loan bubble in the United States and Europe at $1.4 trillion, lower than other figures in the range of $1.3 trillion for U.S. corporations alone (Federal Reserve). But it estimated the exposure of banks, insurers, pension funds to CLO derivatives based on leveraged debt at $405 billion, considerably larger than previously estimated. Britain’s Telegraph on Jan. 19 reported, “It is understood the Bank’s analysis raised fears among policymakers at the U.S. Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank.” It restated, “The research has caused shock waves at the world’s top central banks,” although those banks and the IMF have given their own warnings about junk corporate debt/derivatives triggering a financial crash.

But Reuters reported that Carney, when questioned by alarmed MPs, reassured them that the banks had all passed stress tests on leveraged debt. “We are concerned just because the pace of growth has been quite rapid for some time,” and the documentation is so poor, said Carney—nothing serious, mind you. The BOE also kowtowed to the large profits U.K. banks and shadow banks make from this debt sector.

“It’s not just all bad. It’s a source of major employment and profitability here. It lowers the cost of capital for investment,” said Richard Sharpe of the BOE’s Financial Policy Committee.

No new regulation whatsoever was proposed. The European Central Bank and the Fed have both established guidelines that leveraged debt should not exceed six times a company’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), but according to Fitch’s Peter Firth in Reuters, companies have responded by faking EBITDA and getting away with it.

“The ECB’s leveraged lending guidelines have had very little impact,” Firth said. The pace of inflation of the bubble has only increased. The Financial Times reported today that one-third of allcorporate loans of all grades in 2018, put the borrowing company’s leverage above six times EBITDA. That is considered an over-indebted company.

According to the FT, the largest share of these loans is for corporate takeovers, and thus, supposedly, they are collateralized (by the unfortunate takeover target’s assets). But, it says, since 80% of all leveraged loans have no covenants—essentially, repayment terms—the acquiring company easily snatches the collateral out of the lender’s reach.

FT’s extensive article, full of charts, reports that the last 45 days of 2018 were a first shock or sign of coming crisis: $16 billion net fled from loan funds, and average loan prices fell 3%, the same drop as in August 2011 when the U.S. government lost its AAA rating. Banks had to change the terms of their securitizations of leveraged debt, and started to take losses, turning to an increase in CLO derivatives to “offset” them.

NEW WORLD ECONOMIC ORDER

China’s Economic Growth Remains Vibrant, Regardless of Negative Western Media

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—At a press conference today sponsored by the State Council of China, the Beijing government presented the economic statistics for 2018. While there has been much hype in Western media about a Chinese slowdown or even a “hard landing,” the figures don’t bear that out. While growth has declined, given the economic crisis in Western Europe and the imposition of trade sanctions by the U.S., China has still maintained a 6.6% growth rate for the year, the fastest growth among the world’s five top economies, Ning Jizhe, the head of the National Bureau of Statistics pointed out. China still remains the largest contributor to global growth, Ning declared.

Fixed asset investment has increased in the last few months thanks to China’s continued push for infrastructure investment, with rural infrastructure and domestic transit systems a major item of that investment. Domestic consumption provided 76.2% of the growth, up 18.6% year-on-year, in line with the government’s program of making domestic consumption the primary driver for China’s production, thus freeing it from its previous dependence on the export market.

While the country will be facing a more difficult economic climate this year, said Lian Ping, chief economist with the Bank of Communications (even if some of the U.S. tariffs are lifted), China is using its fiscal policies to cushion expected pressure from the outside, reducing taxes this year, lowering reserves for the banks, and continuing a moderate increase in government infrastructure investment. “This year’s macro-regulation will focus on counter-cyclical adjustments, and the country will implement proactive fiscal policy and prudent monetary policy,” Ning Jizhe told reporters.

SCIENCE & INFRASTRUCTURE

Both Chinese and Americans ‘Have a Cooperative Attitude’ in Space

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—China’s Science & Technology Daily carries an article today on space cooperation with the United States. It goes back to the Chang’e-2 mission in 2010, when, after orbiting the Moon, the spacecraft journeyed into deep space and encountered the asteroid Tutatis. The article says that when China announced the planned visit to the asteroid, the U.S. shut down access to the relevant orbital data it had been collecting. The U.S. is the only nation that “mastered” the orbits of small bodies.

Science & Technology Daily then includes comments on cooperation from aerospace engineer Yang Yuguang, who is a frequent commentator for CGTN TV and plays an active role in the International Astronautical Federation. Yang says that regarding the lunar missions, “both sides have shown a cooperative attitude.” In early communications, he says, “the U.S. provided the orbital data from its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter to the Chinese side and promised to capture, and make public, images and parameters of the landing.”

Yang continued, the United States has requested that China extend the life of the relay satellite it is using for the current lunar far side mission from three years to five years.

“It is not difficult for the United States to build a relay satellite,” he observes. “Why doesn’t the U.S. build a relay satellite?” Yang Yuguang believes the United States wants to “save money.” “If the United States develops a relay satellite by itself, plus launching and operating it, it will cost at least hundreds of millions of dollars. NASA is now in a tight budget situation, and it is obviously more cost-effective to seek cooperation with China.”

The U.S. proposal that China’s relay satellite operation be extended, would mean that it plans to implement a far side landing within five years, the article concludes. “Regardless of whether this cooperation can be carried out in the end, China aerospace will open its heart to the world.”

Thirty Years Ago Today: Jan. 27, 1989 Jailing of Lyndon LaRouche Defined an Era, Which Now Must End

Jan. 21 (EIRNS)—Many Americans sat in stunned amazement earlier this month as the venerable New York Times and Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s apparatus moved to put the President of the United States, Donald Trump, on trial for treason, because he dared to meet and converse with Russian President Vladimir Putin; because he has referred to NATO as being “obsolete” and questioned its role; and because he fired his director of the FBI, James Comey, as the Constitution states he has the authority to do. Jaws dropped as it became public that top echelons of the FBI, the CIA, and the Democratic Party—all on instructions from British intelligence—had been, and still are to this day, engaged in an active coup d’état against the elected President of the United States. Many of you reading these lines today are rightly aghast at the fact that these actors, although they have not yet achieved their objective, have so far gotten away with their plot, and that they act with seeming impunity. “How is that possible?” you ask yourself and your friends. To find the answer to that question, you only need look to the events of Jan. 27, 1989—precisely 30 years ago—when Lyndon H. LaRouche and a group of associates were railroaded into prison with lengthy sentences, for crimes they never committed. The frame-up and jailing of LaRouche, facilitated by years of lying media vilification of LaRouche and his movement, which continues to this day, was carried out by the same British-run political apparatus—in many cases, by the same individual hit-men, including Special Counsel Robert Mueller—that today is out to topple the President of the United States. And it is because they were able to carry out that legal atrocity against LaRouche 30 years ago, with hardly a whimper of protest from America’s leading institutions and most of the American people, that they are at it again today, on a grander scale.  In fact, the five-year jailing of Lyndon LaRouche defined an entire era of modern U.S. history, much as the 1963 assassination of John F. Kennedy did. There is no exaggeration in that statement. Ramsey Clark, who served as Attorney General of the United States under President Lyndon Johnson, and who also represented LaRouche in his appeals to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court, stated in an April 26, 1995 open letter to then Attorney General Janet Reno: “I bring this matter [the LaRouche case] to you directly, because I believe it involves a broader range of deliberate and systematic misconduct and abuse of power over a longer period of time in an effort to destroy a political movement and leader, than any other federal prosecution in my time or to my knowledge.” Clark also said: “The purpose can only be seen as destroying—it’s more than a political movement, it’s more than a political figure; it is those two. But it’s a fertile engine of ideas, a common purpose of thinking and studying and analyzing to solve problems, regardless of the impact on the status quo, or on vested interests. It was a deliberate purpose to destroy that at any cost…. In what was a complex and pervasive utilization of law enforcement, prosecution, media, and non-governmental organizations focused on destroying an enemy, this case must be number one.”With LaRouche’s jailing, America and the world were deprived of their most illustrious statesman and economist. Because LaRouche’s policies for replacing the deadly looting of Wall Street and the City of London with a just New World Economic Order of universal, high-tech development, were not implemented, hundreds of millions of people around the world remained in poverty and tens of millions perished unnecessarily. It has only been with China’s recent adoption of policies very similar to those proposed by LaRouche up to 50 years ago, that the genocide has stopped in at least large parts of the planet.Because LaRouche’s SDI policy, as adopted and proposed by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, was sabotaged and not carried out, the world today teeters at the edge of thermonuclear confrontation. Only a return to LaRouche’s original design of the SDI ballistic missile defense system—based on new physical principles and cooperation with Russia and China, not against them—can now pull us back from the brink.Because LaRouche’s proposal for cooperation between East and West after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany—famously forecast by LaRouche in October 1988—was rejected, and LaRouche was hauled off to jail scarcely three months later, Russia was ravaged, and the West looted under Thatcher, Bush, and Mitterrand. A wave of permanent wars was unleashed, which is with us still today. Because LaRouche’s proposed war on drugs against London’s Dope, Inc. banking apparatus was never implemented, a drug epidemic today is poisoning our nation and the world. And because LaRouche’s policies for generating a new Renaissance of classical culture and science was swept aside, we now stare into the pit of hell of a New Dark Age that is engulfing our youth in particular. Some among you may disagree. Some may think that no jailing of a single man, no matter how unjustly, could possibly cause such results. But those thinking that way have yet to understand how real history works; how ideas are the driving force of humanity’s advance. In fact, the entire body of LaRouche’s life work and his extensive scientific writings, address precisely that central question: the role of man’s unique creativity in shaping his own history, and that of the physical universe around him. Read and study LaRouche, if you wish to understand why the British Empire so fears him.On March 30, 1984, Lyndon LaRouche wrote a Draft Memorandum of Agreement Between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R., with a vision for the future which remains as scientifically valid today as it was 35 years ago. In it, LaRouche stated:“The political foundation for durable peace must be: a) The unconditional sovereignty of each and all nation-states, and b) Cooperation among sovereign nation-states to the effect of promoting unlimited opportunities to participate in the benefits of technological progress, to the mutual benefit of each and all. The most crucial feature of present implementation of such a policy of durable peace is a profound change in the monetary, economic, and political relations between the dominant powers and those relatively subordinated nations often classed as ‘developing nations.’ Unless the inequities lingering in the aftermath of modern colonialism are progressively remedied, there can be no durable peace on this planet.“Insofar as the United States and Soviet Union acknowledge the progress of the productive powers of labor throughout the planet to be in the vital strategic interests of each and both, the two powers are bound to that degree and in that way by a common interest. This is the kernel of the political and economic policies of practice indispensable to the fostering of durable peace between those two powers.”It is time that America atone for tolerating LaRouche’s incarceration three decades ago—not because such a terrible injustice was done to LaRouche, but because we have done such a terrible injustice to ourselves, and the world. It is past time to exonerate LaRouche and his associates; but above all, it is time to ensure that LaRouche’s policies are at last adopted.
