Dear friends – First, I want to say THANK YOU to all the people who reached out a hand to help when my computer crashed.  Your kindness and generosity mean so much and enabled me to get my computer fixed.  It was returned to me yesterday and I am now able to get online again.  Thank goodness.

Unfortunately, I am still without several applications including all Microsoft programs and Final Cut Pro.  As a result, I am unable to even open my ultrasound book on this computer due to not having Microsoft Word.  I also cannot open videos that I was working on since Final Cut Pro is the program I was using to make them.  The reason I lost these applications is because, in addition to my motherboard short circuiting ($500 to fix), the hard drive was also corrupted.  The data that could be retrieved ($100) did not include the programs just mentioned that are now missing.  I had to put out an additional $100 for a backup drive and software that will regularly make a clone of my data.  Your donations made this all possible.

It looks like I will need to pay for a new Microsoft Office suite for Mac ($150) in order to continue working on my book.  The original program was purchased for me as a gift two years ago and, unfortunately, I do not have the necessary keys to access and reinstall it.  So it looks like I will have to purchase certain programs again whenever it is financially possible.   If anyone would like to contribute to this effort, it would mean so much.  Paypaldonations to jeanicebarcelo@yahoo.com or postal money orders to Jeanice Barcelo, PO Box 1561, W. Additionally, I am now also dealing with a broken wrist.  There was an altercation with a family member last week that left my right wrist broken and in alot of pain.  I am typing this with my left hand.  They estimate 6 weeks to heal.

As soon as I can physically manage to pack up my things and grab my cat, I will be leaving this place for good.  I have no financial means to make a move at this time but I trust that money is not what creates reality.  I do.  And I am creating a beautiful place in my mind that is nurturing and close to nature, where I can heal from radiation damage and be surrounded by kind, pure, and good people who value my presence and welcome me with open arms.  I am interested to see how things unfold.

So, it looks like my book is on hold for a little while longer.  Because of the intensity of the challenges over the past few months, it appears I may be under strong psychic attack.  However, I think it’s better to take responsibility for what is manifesting in my life than blame it on outside forces.  I will overcome these challenges and get the book done.  But it sure would help to have the microsoft software I need in order to be able to move forward.  If you can help, please do.
