In this interview, Representative Massie reveals that congresswoman and Democratic presidential candidate, Tulsi Gabbard, has joined the Audit the Fed initiative as a co-sponsor to the bill. This news about the stance of a presidential candidate on an issue that actually matters is hardly being reported anywhere else and has been completely overlooked by the mainstream media. In response to my questioning, Representative Massie makes an interesting point, arguing that progressives may be starting to support auditing or ending the Federal Reserve because, without the Fed printing money, a permanent state of war would not be possible. Also with regard to war, I asked Congressman Massie about the current situation with Iran. While he did defend President Trump for not carrying out a deadly strike over the downing of a drone, Massie also applauded the House of Representatives’ recent vote to stop the president from using the post-9/11 AUMF as authorization for striking Iran. This is another crucial issue we have been covering lately as tit-for-tat escalations have brought us to the brink of war with Iran. If we are going to force the Audit the Fed issue into the mainstream and into daily political discourse, then it is essential that you share this video.
