Coming off the heels of a poll showing John James within the margin of error, a reporter just left a voicemail for John and showed us exactly how biased the media is. After she THOUGHT she hung up the phone, this is what she said:
41 sec: Man, if he beats her… Jesus!
48 sec: F****** John James
58 sec: That would SUCK!
1 min: I don’t think it’s going to happen.
This type of despicable sentiment coming from a reporter is unacceptable. The media has a responsibility to serve the people as a check on political power, not put their thumb on the scale and cheer for the blue team or the red team.
This reporter clearly wants John to lose and Debbie Stabenow to win. This proves what we already know: the media, along with the professional political class, is satisfied with the status quo, and shows disdain for any outsider who dares to speak with an independent voice.
On the eve of Election Day, we will NOT allow this media bias to slow down our grassroots army.
