In a powerful speech at the Cernobbio Forum today, Queen Rania of Jordan lambasted the international community for its failure to address the decades-long suffering of the Palestinian people. The Queen, who is of Palestinian descent, pulled no punches as she condemned the “dehumanizing” and “cruel” double standard that allows Israel’s occupation and violence to continue unchecked.
