Western Intelligence (CIA) Coup Against Putin/Russia Has Failed

Russian National Guard Chief Asserts, Armed Rebellion Inspired From Abroad

June 28, 2023, 2022 (EIRNS)—Viktor Zolotov, the chief of the Rosgvardiya (Russian national guard) told reporters in Moscow yesterday that Western countries may have had prior knowledge about plans for an armed mutiny in Russia and were involved in it. “Of course, the mutiny was prearranged, inspired by Western intelligence services, because they knew about it weeks in advance,” he said, reported TASS.

Zolotov also added that there had been “information leaks” from “Prigozhin’s camp,” which were “rather specific, about the fact that a mutiny is being planned, and that it would take place between June 22 and 25, which is exactly what happened.” “It proves that all of this was inspired by the West, and, apparently, they instigated Prigozhin himself, or maybe his ambitions took over and he wanted a higher position,” the National Guard chief said.

In addition, Zolotov pointed to the great work of Prigozhin’s speechwriters, as well as to the work of the Wagner PMC founder himself. “It was all organized very competently, very clearly, so I do not rule out that Western intelligence services may be behind it,” he concluded.

British Lunatic Insists Ukraine Should Invade Russia Now—Don’t Worry about Nuclear War

June 28, 2023, 2022 (EIRNS)—If you want to understand something about the British ventriloquists who move Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s mouth, just examine the lunatic utterings of retired British Col. Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, OBE and former commander of U.K. and NATO Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear forces.

In an opinion piece published in the London Daily Telegraph June 27, under the headline, “Ukraine Can Now End Putin’s Crumbling Regime; NATO should give Kyiv the implicit permission to attack Russia itself and bring down its President,” Hamish-Gordon proposes that after the coup attempt by Yevgeny Prigozhin June 24-25, an invasion of Russia by Ukrainian forces, with NATO’s help, is in order. Russia can’t protect its borders or major cities, he argues, so now the task is to give Ukraine “the tools and latitude to exploit this weakness and bring Vladimir Putin’s regime tumbling down.”

This lunatic insists that it’s no longer the case that Ukraine will limit its combat operations to its own territory: “The room is certainly there for Ukraine’s forces to strike openly against Russia proper.” After all, he goes on, Prigozhin’s troops marched on the road toward Moscow with ease, so much so that the Kremlin had to hustle to pull elite troops from the front to protect the capital, revealing it didn’t have a rapid response force ready to deploy.

If Ukraine were to attack “without borders,” and with NATO’s “implicit support,” this madman proposes, Ukraine would have the option of “not being limited to moving through Russian defensive positions,” which he describes as “static.” Don’t worry about Putin’s saber-rattling or threatening to use nuclear weapons either, he says. Putin can’t really go with that option, because if he did, he would be “signing his own death warrant, either in mutually-assured destruction or a palace coup.” Putin wouldn’t risk this. Hamish-Gordon therefore concludes that “with his domestic grip seemingly weakened, we should have no qualms about precipitating the events that could see his rule crumble for good.”
