UK House of Lords member Richard Dannatt is accused of urging a crackdown on Palestine Action for a US arms firm. Dannat is a former head of the military before taking a paid job as an advisor to a US defence company. He stands accused of urging the government on behalf of the American arms firm to push for a crackdown on Palestine Action, which was later proscribed as a terrorist group in Britain.
Ah, the house of lords…. I bet it smells like a closed library mixed with arrogance and old wishes of rebuilding the British empire. What an anachronistic institution.
