STRYPER WIFE
Hookers For Jesus received over $830K in grants but New York Times article paints questionable picture
Metal Sludge — In a brand new article in the New York Times, Annie Lobert and her Hookers for Jesus organization are under the micro-scope.
Lobert is the wife of Stryper guitarist Oz Fox, and is an admitted former drug addict and long time high-end prostitute.
Hookers for Jesus is a Las Vegas based group founded by Lobert that helps street walkers and sex workers get back on their feet.
Lobert has become popular with her over-the-top pleas on social media for donations from readers.
With her bleached hair, heavy make-up and bright colors, some have likened her appearance to that of Tammy Faye Bakker.
In September 2018 Lobert took to her social media platforms while praying, crying and pleading for financial help.
But according to various official records and a timeline of her own social media posts the dollars are adding up into the 7 figures.
Now it seems that a whistleblower in the U.S. Department of Justice is calling into question why Hookers For Jesus was given large 6-figure grants.
It is noted that Hookers For Jesus is not a Tier 1 program and in fact is rated as Tier 2, a lower-level organization.
The complaint is questioning why Hookers For Jesus received these funds, where other Tier 1 programs did not.
The New York Times writes: “A U.S. Justice Department anti-human trafficking grant program is facing internal complaints, after two nonprofits were denied funding in favor of two less established groups whose applications were not recommended by career DOJ officials.
The awarding of more than $1 million total to the two groups, Hookers for Jesus in Nevada and the Lincoln Tubman Foundation in South Carolina, has triggered a whistleblower complaint filed by the Justice Department’s employee union to the department’s Inspector General.”
According to the article, Hookers For Jesus was granted $300,000.00 in 2017 and another $530,190.00 over a 3 year period.
Comment: With a High School Diploma education she could at most earn about $40,000 a year as a blackjack dealer or CNA (which requires 6 months training) so getting $830,190 in grants over 3 years exceeds anything she could ever earn.
Listened to her interview and she promotes people following the Jewish Torah which means she is being funded by the JEWS and is beholden to them. I sure hope all this money isn’t going up her nose or in her arm. Being interviewed by Behan on the View furthermore discredits her in my eyes. I didn’t want to come to this conclusion. I really wanted to believe in her but I am a firm believer in once an alcoholic/drug addict always an alcoholic or drug addict having worked in Rehabilitation units for many years and seeing they don’t work. A former friend of mine (recently deceased) went to Rehabilitation Units 30 times and they never worked for him. He was required to go to keep his housing. I am not suggesting prostitutes cannot be rehabilitated. I am sure many of them go on to marry and have families and even normal family lives. But, it seems this lady is a little too MONEY driven and Fame driven. Therefore being she is under Jewish subservience I consider her an illuminati puppet pushing Jewish Religion.
Also of note, Hookers For Jesus and Destiny House have policies described in their 2018 manuals that would likely violate anti-discrimination laws and prohibit using federal funding to engage in explicitly religious activities, some lawyers said.
The New York Times details the following: “The funding was not renewed in 2018 after the state obtained Hookers for Jesus program manuals saying it was “mandatory” for guests of the group’s shelter, Destiny House, to attend services and volunteer at a specific church. Its staff training manual said homosexuality is immoral and abusing drugs for pleasure is “witchcraft.” Reuters obtained the manuals through a public records request.
One Nevada grant reviewer in 2018 questioned whether Hookers for Jesus treated victims like “prisoners,” while another observed the program seemed too controlling and expressed concern it forced victims to attend Bible study, the grant review documents show.”
The time line shows that these funds have come in to the Hookers For Jesus group in recent years, but obviously that wasn’t suffice for Lobert and her group.
Metal Sludge covered various other stories when Lobert pleaded for fans and followers to pay for her husband’s (Oz Fox of Styrper) medical expenses.
Fox had a medical incident that innvolved various procedures and costs, so Lobert started a Go Fund Me.
To date the couple have raised nearly $150,000.00 ($141,657.00 well exceeding their $100,000.00 goal) to pay for his medical costs since the August 2018 incident.
Comment: Think if they raised more money than needed for his surgeries they should quit being greedy and send some of the money back to the donors. That would be the ethical thing to do.
A month earlier, in July 2018, Lobert pleaded for help to raise $298,000.00 after learning the above N.Y. Times article noted ‘Grant‘ was not going to be renewed the following year.
In her own words she wrote, “Completely Devastated. We didn’t get the crucial grant we needed!”
At times tears flow in a social media vlog that shows Lobert looking to be emotionally drained.
At around the 4 minute 15 second mark Lobert pleads with viewers, “Can you guys step up and help us? Can you share this video? Can you share our fundraiser, I just posted it. And i’m only asking for the 298 ($298,000.00).”
She continues with, “The deadline is October 8th, and we know that with God – all things are possible.”
Lobert has shared this campaign on all of her related social networks with hopes of rasing the mammoth number of dollars.
To be clear, the above noted ‘Grants’ (totalling $830,190.00) do not include the $28,000.00 Facebook Funraiser that Lobert started on Septemeber 19th 2018 or the medical costs for Oz ($141,657.00) or the plea for the $298,000.00 either.
Comment: Time for a professional AUDIT by a CPA to see where all this money goes. Up her nose?
At the time the plea for help appeared to be her 3rd or 4th request for money via different online funding groups in just a few months time.
A 2018 summer newsletter sent from Destiny House via Mail Chimp noted to its recipients; “Urgent–Ladies At Destiny House Need Your Help!
The newsletter listed the needs of the house which include a new stove ($2,100.00), new exhaust fan ($3,500.00), a new emergency server and computers ($3,000.00), installation of said equipment ($1,000.00) and an overdue house eletricity bill to the tune of $ 504.00.
The total needed for Destiny House as of the late summer 2018 message blast was $ 14,954.00. Read the full newsletter HERE.
Lobert has seemingly tried to do good work for the ladies of Las Vegas, but it seems the U.S. Department of Justice is diving deeper into her organization.
It appears that Lobert has made a full 180 degree turn after a life that she admitted was fueled by her own greed.
The former sex worker spent 16 years living that life and admitted her wants of having sports cars, fancy clothes, designer purses and money.
