Serena Williams is a professional tennis player. She has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, the second-most of all time behind Margaret Court. The Women’s Tennis Association ranked her singles world No. 1 on MANY occasions.
And now we know why. Muscle fiber, bone structure, muscle tone, testosterone and bone density. Apparently these things have always worked in her favor. But not for the reasons you might think. In a heart stopping interview with none other than Dave Chappelle, Serena comes clean.
With a Smirk on his face, Dave Chappelle sits back and listens as Ms. Serena tells all.
I always knew that I was a Girl Dave. But did you? First off I should say my birth certificate says Ezekiel, not Serena. That’s right, I was born a baby boy. But I always knew that I was different.
It started off with wearing girls colors and picking girl characters in all my video games. Princess Peach was my favorite. I tried so hard but I just couldn’t get the Peach voice down right. My father thought I was crazy and I swear he tried to beat it out of me. He was always pushing me to be a better tennis player. That’s all he cared about. And when I was 9 years old I almost gave up the sport completely, as I just couldn’t get into the finals. And then something happened.
My dad came to me and said he would help me transition. I was so happy. So we got to move to Compton California and start a new life. He even let me pick out my name. Selene, after the Greek Goddess. I was finally happy. Dad was happy I was ranking in Tennis. And so my life long secret had started and I just wish to share it with the world. You can be who you want Dave. It’s okay. I’m getting the surgery today. Once it’s gone I’ll finally be free.
Dave Chappelle brought up many talking points after the fact, such as suicide rate as well as the reduction in testosterone that might lower her rankings in the All-Star world of tennis. Her response? She just started slapping her wrist, which we assume is the universal sign for anabolic steroid injection.
At any rate, it sure explains a lot in this wacky world of sports. Wowza.
