I wanted to make sure you heard about the new evidence in 1LT Clint Lorance’s case.
Clint’s legal team has obtained an Army document that admits a “confirmed” insurgent was killed on the battlefield that day – and information that Clint’s platoon was being scouted for an impending attack!
Now, Clint will file a Habeas Corpus petition in federal civilian court to challenge his conviction.
I’ve consulted with Clint’s lead attorney, and he estimates the minimum this new legal action will cost is $107,861.
Unfortunately, we’re heading into our slowest fundraising season of the year.
So, if we can raise the $107,861 we need to prepare for Clint’s Habeas Corpus petition before June 30th, then I won’t have to worry about our budget so much during the lean summer months.

And this fundraising slow down comes at the worst possible time for us.
Because in addition to Clint’s Habeas Corpus petition coming up this fall, we’re also getting ready for Navy SEAL Chief Dave Swarts’ trial in October. (We’re also supporting two other SEALs in this case.)
