The prospect of a cataclysmic global banking collapse of this nature has not been seen since the implosion of Lehman Brothers in 2008, and subsequent fallout in the global banking world. But these events haven’t taken place in a vacuum, as earlier this year savvy international investor Lord Jacob Rothschild, during a semi-annual address to RIT Capital Partners, announced that they are reducing stock market and currency exposure and increasing their gold holdings, warning that the world is now in “uncharted waters” and the consequences are “impossible” to predict. Rothschild stated:
The collapse of Deutsche Bank would most likely begin a cascade of Western banking institutions falling like dominos (which could include Barclays in London and CitiGroup in the U.S.). According to the same expert who valued Lehman’s worth at it’s collapse, Deutsche Bank’s current value of $1 trillion dollars is significantly more than Lehman Brothers’ valuation during their collapse in 2008. The contagion from a collapse of this magnitude could potentially trigger a systemic banking collapse the likes of which the world has never seen. The EU would almost certainly disintegrate upon a collapse of this magnitude, as Deutsche Bank is the largest bank in Germany — which is essentially the financial heart and soul of the EU. When Jacob Rothschild says that he is buying gold because the central banks are out of control, you begin to understand the scope and magnitude of what is transpiring, as his family has been in de facto control of the world’s central banks for centuries. Deutsche Bank shares have fallen sharply on the news that German Chancellor Angela Merkel won’t bail out the struggling bank, with shares falling by as much as six percent in early week trading, turning in their worst performance since 1992. Since just January, the bank’s shares have lost over 52 percent of their value. Merkel has also refused to provide state financial assistance to Deutsche Bank in its legal battle with the U.S. Department of Justice. The chancellor made her position clear during talks with Deutsche CEO John Cryan, according to Focus magazine. The German-based lender may be fined up to $14 billion over its mortgage-backed securities business before the 2008 global crisis. The German Chancellor also noted that Deutsche Bank will not be getting a bailout from the European Central Bank – the lender of last resort for European banks. Revealing the truly dangerous threat the German megabank poses to the international banking system, a report from the International Monetary Fund in June implied that Deutsche Bank was a systemic risk to the global financial system. Of all the world’s big banks, the I.M.F. said, “Deutsche Bank appears to be the most important net contributor to systemic risks.”Many fear that in the wake of Merkel’s refusal to bail out Deutsche Bank, Germany may now be considering a bail-in instead? Essentially, this entails the bank stealing deposited funds, with virtually no recourse for those individuals who have their savings stolen. It’s not at all beyond the realm of possibility, as it has happened before in very recent history. To keep the bank solvent, the Bank of Cyprus took almost 40 percent of depositor’s funds – leaving customers with essentially nothing they could do about having their money stolen. Assets were frozen and ATM machines were not refilled. Perhaps this explains why in mid-August Germans were told by their government to stockpile 10 days worth of water, and five days worth of food in case of a “national emergency” hitting the country, with the Czech Republic following suit and making a similar announcement within days of the German warning. Deutsche Bank’s unbelievably risky portfolio and its exposure to the derivative markets, which stands at over $40 trillion dollars, would undoubtedly cause exponentially more damage than the Lehman Brothers collapse did back in 2008, which precipitated the Great Recession of 2008. This risk of failure has now gotten so threatening that a number of funds that clear derivatives trades with Deutsche Bank AG have withdrawn excess cash and positions held at the lender, according to Bloomberg. While the vast majority of the bank’s more than 200 derivatives-clearing clients have made no changes, the hedge funds run on cash highlights serious concern. The paranoia of an imminent collapse spread to the US on Thursday, as 10 hedge funds that are Deutsche Bank clients have decided to withdraw cash and listed derivatives positions from the bank, according to a Bloomberg News report.
Highlighting the contagion banking effect, news that some hedge funds were pulling positions and excess collateral from Deutsche Bank caused shares of U.S. banks to quickly reverse early gains, according to Bloomberg.

Kelly – Homeland Security Secretary – ordered federal agents to increase arrests and deportations of illegal immigrants, undermining Obama Administration immigration policies. This initiation of one of President Trump’s top campaign promises comes along with the its embrace of DACA and DAPA, two Obama Administrations Executive Orders designed to prevent deportation of select classes of illegal immigrants.DHS are also more likely to increase presence and crackdown of illegal border crossing, Washington Times reports. Homeland Security Secretary John F. Kelly announced this week that the DHS will be initiating a mass deportation program targeting individuals living in the United States illegally. This comes as the Administration appears to fulfill Mr. Trump’s campaign promise of deporting illegal immigrants to nations like Mexico before considering offering them a road to amnesty. This move was coupled by the Trump Administrations embrace of DACA and DAPA, two programs designed to exempt certain groups of illegal immigrants from deportation. In August of 2012, the Obama Administration initiated the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program allowing illegal immigrants who moved to the United States as children to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from being deported. These young adult illegal immigrants, or ‘Dreamers’ as the Obama administration called them, are to remain exempted from this order. Likewise, the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA), provided similar protections for parents of U.S. citizens living illegally in the United States. The DHS framed the move as a move to strengthen border security and incentivize self-deportation.’ Secretary Kelly commented that those caught at the border are to be sent back immediately, and gave carte blanch to DHS agents to target all non-exempt illegals living within the U.S. He added that agents are to give priority to criminal illegals, but free to use their discretion to detail suspected illegals.
The two memos laid out by Mr. Kelly, first signed and issued Friday, will not set in immediately. ICE, Customs and Border Protection, and Citizenship and Immigration Services are given wide latitude to interpret and implement new policies according to Kelly’s memos. The two memos also appear to initiate other key Trump Administration immigration reforms. These include his long-promised border wall, the hiring of 5,000 more Border Patrol agents, hiring 10,000 more ICE agents, and adding 500 more officials for the Air and Marine operations at CBP. Funding for these priorities will depend on the decision of Congress, Vox reports. To many individuals living in the United States illegally, these memos are a sign that they should not feel safe living in the country under the new Trump Administration. New Era of Immigration EnforcementKelly’s memos are a direct interpretation of the Trump Administrations recent executive orders. They do not detail aggressive provisions initially included in the draft version of the memo reported by Vox on Friday focusing largely on border enforcement. The most important changes between the Kelly memo’s and the earlier draft relate to the removal of formal policies surrounding enforcement; instead they are granting wide discretions to the agencies which carry out deportation, such as ICE. Other policies in the early memo, such as a proposal to deputize state National Guard units for immigration enforcement, have been scrapped. These changes come as a major shift in U.S. domestic policy toward tighter border security and mass deportation. These policies mark a return to the security-oriented focus of the DHS resulting from the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center. The Obama Administration, which deported nearly 3 million people living in the United States illegally, appeared to ramp down its mass deportation program toward the end of the administration. Under Trump’s administration, immigration enforcement appears to be ramping up once again, as enforcement control now has far greater leniency to arrest, detain and remove illegal immigrants from the country wherever they are found. Another thing that makes this writer think that O’Keefe’s target is CNN, is that CNN employees were caught on tape laughing about Trump’s plane crashing back in December, before a live broadcast which was leaked. This makes me think that CNN may have a mole on the inside and we may just see a torrential leak of videos and audio conversations. One thing is for sure Project Veritas, who has been accused of editing their footage for the last decade, is about to put those rumors to bed. If O’Keefe’s release is anything along these lines, grab some popcorn and sit back this is going to be the greatest show on earth.

Posted: 22 Feb 2017 08:04 AM PST We Are Change | Be the Change You Wish to See in the World MANILA, Philippines – Senator Leila de Lima on Tuesday called on the people to make President Rodrigo Duterte, whom she branded as the “number one criminal” in the country, accountable for the deaths of suspected criminals in Davao City when he was mayor, and the killings of more than 7,000 others since he assumed office in Malacañang. “There is no more doubt that our president is a murderer and sociopathic serial killer,” De Lima told reporters, as she called on cabinet to declare him unfit to lead, and asked ordinary Filipinos to voice their opposition to his rule. De Lima said the constitution allowed for a majority in his cabinet to force him to step down by ruling that he was mentally incapacitated and urged it to do so. De Lima invoked the mass uprising that ended the “iron fist” of Marcos’s dictatorship in 1986. Referring to the People Power Revolution that toppled Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos in 1986, she said:
Leila de Lima is criticising the estimated 7,000 drug-related killings that have occurred since Duterte started his anti-drug crackdown in July 2016. De Lima is a Filipino lawyer, human rights activist and politician. She won one of twelve contested seats and currently serves as a Philippine senator in the Philippines’ 17th Congress. Ms De Lima, who served as justice secretary under Mr Duterte’s predecessor, Benigno Aquino, has been one of the most vocal critics of the crackdown. When she served as chair of the Commission on Human Rights between 2008-2010, she investigated Mr Duterte – who was then mayor of Davao City – over unexplained deaths during his anti-crime campaign. Ms de Lima’s comments come a day after a retired Philippine policeman claimed that Mr Duterte ordered “death squad” hits to kill criminals and opponents while he was mayor of Davao city. He is the second man to go public with claims of being part of a paid Davao death squad, dating back to 1988, when Mr Duterte became mayor of his hometown. The extrajudicial killings allegedly included a radio show host who was a critic of the then-mayor, a pregnant woman and a four or five-year-old boy. The president’s office called the retired policeman’s claims a “character assassination” and “vicious politics”, insisting all such allegations had been proved false by independent agencies. Over the years, the president has variously denied and confirmed the existence of a Davao death squad, and claimed to have personally killed people to set an example for police. Now De Lima is in the firing line. The Department of Justice filed three cases against De Lima on Friday for her alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade at the New Bilibid Prison during her time as Justice secretary. | Mom Furious After School Handcuffed 8-Year-Old Son As Punishment
Posted: 21 Feb 2017 10:40 PM PST We Are Change | Be the Change You Wish to See in the World A North Carolina mother of a special needs 8-year-old is calling out William Warren school officials for handcuffing her child without notifying her, an outrageous traumatic experience that convinced the mother to relocate her son to another school. The mother, who asked not to be identified, told WTVD her son was involved in a classroom disturbance at William Warren Child Development School in November, when a school resource officer handcuffed the 8-year-old and took him to another room to calm down. The woman said that school officials never notified her about the incident, and when she confronted them they attempted to justify the imprisonment. “The only thing the resource officer could say was that he was a danger to himself or others,” the mother said, “but when you are eight at a special needs school based on behavior, you should not be able to handcuff a child.” Lee County Schools Superintendent Andy Bryan also attempted to justify the excessive restraints in a prepared statement for WTVD. “ … At times, SROs, who are employed by our Sheriff’s Office, have to use different methods of intervention to keep students and staff safe,” he wrote. “I have an open door policy for any parent in our district who wants to discuss a concern about their child and would welcome the opportunity to have that conversation.” The mother told WTVD that her son is doing better now and noted that he is attending a different school. William Warren school employees weren’t the only ones to face criticism this week over how they restrain their students. A teacher in Bangor, Michigan resigned Tuesday for duct taping a 16-year-old student’s arms and chest during class. An absolutely horrifying notion that a teacher in the education establishment, someone whose job is supposed to be caring for kids would ever do such a thing. “We had some students approach us and advised that another student had been duct taped during class during the day,” Bangor Police Chief Tommy Simpson told Fox 17. “By the time we started conducting interviews, (school officials) already made personnel decisions, and the teacher involved in this had resigned.” The incident “involved the teacher applying duct tape to a 16-year-old student’s arms and chest as a classmate recorded the prank on video,” Simpson said. “The student who was duct taped said that he was embarrassed by it,” he said. “It was an uncomfortable moment for him.” Simpson said that investigators are now working to determine if malice was involved or criminal charges are warranted in the case. He also encouraged students and parents to flag authorities when they believe classroom issues get out of hand. “They need to contact the administrators,” Simpsons said. “They need to inform their parents and, if necessary, they’re more than welcome to contact this police department.” In both cases, the involved schools overstepped the boundaries of the educational institution to student relationship. In one instance the teacher was allegedly joking around, but in the other incident, handcuffing an 8-year-old was viewed as punishment. Years ago there were two similar cases where an 8-year-old special education student and a 6-year-old special education student were handcuffed as punishment after throwing tantrums and misbehaving in two different locations across the country. So with the problem as wide-spread as this, it becomes abundantly clear that the schools violated the law. All of these nightmarish stories should horrify any parent. When a kid goes to school you expect your son or daughter to be protected and to receive an education, not to be brutalized. SIPRI, an international institute that researches “conflict, armaments, arms control and disarmament,” said on Monday that more weapons were delivered between 2012 and 2016 than any other five-year period since 1990. Between 2007–2011 and 2012–2016, arms imports by national governments in the Middle East rose by 86 percent. As noted by the Guardian: “Saudi Arabia, which leads a military intervention in Yemen that has costs hundreds of civilian lives, was the world’s second largest importer after India, increasing its intake by 212 %, mainly from the US and the UK.” However, there are some issues with the Guardian’s statement. First, according to the U.N., well over 10,000 civilians have been killed, a staggering difference when compared with the Guardian’s watered down reference to “hundreds of civilians lives.” The vast majority of these civilians have been killed directly by the Saudi-led coalition. Second, the Saudi-led war can hardly be called an intervention considering the brutal and illegal nature of the ongoing operation. The term “war of aggression” is more appropriate. As a result of this cozy Saudi-U.S. relationship, Saudi arms imports have tripled during the war in Yemen. The Obama administration sold the oil-rich kingdom at least $115 billion worth of weapons, as Anti-Media has previously reported. SIPRI’s report concluded that Asia was the main recipient region in the world. India was seen to have dwarfed its rivals, China and Pakistan, by accounting for 13 percent of global imports. Most interesting, however, is that India relies primarily on Russian imports as opposed to NATO countries, further complicating alliances in the region. Together, the United States and Russia have supplied more than half of all exports. Unsurprisingly, the United States continues to remain the world’s biggest arms dealer. Iran, the country that has been vilified as the world’s biggest sponsor of terrorism and regional aggressor, received a mere 1.2 percent of the region’s arms transfers. Conversely, arms imports into Qatar, alone, have risen by 245 per cent. The report’s damning conclusions reaffirm what many have been warning about for some time now, including former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev: the whole world is preparing for war. | Congress To Request Probe of $418M Arms Sale Made To Kenya On Obama’s Last Day

It turns out that he also approved a $418 million dollar arms sale to Kenya, on his final day as president, and now many lawmakers are wondering why. Several lawmakers, led by Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC), are questioning why the contract to produce the planes was awarded to major defense firm L3 Technologies. The sale, approved by the State Department and privately notified to Congress on January 19, would allow Kenya to buy 14 weaponized crop-duster-like planes — including two trainer planes and services, for missions against terrorist group, al-Shabaab Breitbart News reported. Lawmakers can still halt the sale by passing a resolution of disapproval. Rep. Budd already introduced a joint resolution into the House earlier this month to halt the sale, as he wants to know why IOMAX, another company that has a history of producing these planes, but at a lesser cost, was not chosen. Budd alleges that the deal seems unfair and sounds like fraud. A Budd aide told Breitbart that the “cost of 14 planes is at $237 million dollars,” compared to the $418 million dollar sale to Kenya. The aide added that “IOMAX was the first to begin producing the weaponized planes in 2009 and has dropped more than 2,000 bombs on al-Shabaab.” It really appears this is political and perhaps shady in nature. Georgia Democrat Sanford Bishop also joined the several Republicans by sending a letter to the Kenyan Ambassador to the United States. “We believe Kenya would benefit by exploring its options in regard to this acquisition…We ask that the Government of Kenya take these facts, in particular, the prospect of an ongoing congressional investigation of this sale, under consideration as it decides whether or not to proceed with this arms purchase,” the letter said. Kenyans are equally outraged about the deal calling the deal “a scam” using the hashtag #KDFWeaponsScam on twitter to express their anger.
U.S. Reps. Mark Meadows (R-11th District) and Walter Jones (R-3rd District), have signed on as co-sponsors to Budd’s bill as well as Republican U.S. Reps. Duncan Hunter of California, Doug LaMalfa of California, Gary Palmer of Alabama, Jeff Duncan of South Carolina and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida Greensboro.com reported. If the resolution does pass, it would be the first time Congress has voted to block a foreign arms deal since 1986 the Iran-contra $100 million dollar arms sale deal. But unlike Ronald Regan’s deal with Iran this deal was made by Obama publicly and not in secret. The deal was announced to the public after Trump’s inauguration on January 23rd. Posted: 21 Feb 2017 01:09 PM PST We Are Change | Be the Change You Wish to See in the World Immediately after leader Marine Le Pen left for Lebanon on her first official visit out of state, French government agents raided her office as part of an investigation into “fake jobs.” According to state officials, this raid is part of a probe to “find evidence related to the ongoing enquiry” as to whether leader Marine Le Pen misappropriated European Parliament funds in her hiring decisions, referring to two individuals whom Ms. Le Pen allegedly improperly hired as parliamentary assistants. The probe comes as Le Pen’s party, the National Front, made major advances in the polls over the past week. According to her office, “[i]t looks on the face of it like a media operation whose goal is to disturb the course of the presidential campaign”. Monday’s raids on the National Front offices at Nanterre, just outside Paris, came as Le Pen seeks to raise her international profile with a two-day visit to Lebanon, where she reiterated her pro-Syria regime stance. Le Pen’s support of the Assad regime conforms to recently elected U.S. President Donald Trump’s position on the Syrian leader, as well as 2016 U.S. Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders. This position is at odds with current French President Hollande and former President Sarkozy’s opposition to President Assad and support of various “Sunni militias,” which Assad recently referred to as “tantamount to supporting terrorists.”
French investigators opened a preliminary inquiry for fraud in December following up on claims from the EU’s anti-fraud office. Monday’s raids on the FN officers were part of their search for evidence. She is also accused of paying nearly €298,000 between December 2010 and 2016 to her France-based assistant, Catherine Griset. To qualify as a parliamentary assistant, an employee must to be physically working in one of the European parliament’s three offices in Brussels, Strasbourg or Luxembourg and be resident near that workplace. The European Parliament has ordered Le Pen to repay the estimated amount of 336,146 euros ($357,000). She has refused. Le Pen has appealed the decision and maintains that the jobs were not fictitious. Her refusal to repay the money by the end of the January deadline means her MEP pay will be halved to around €3,000 from this month and most of her allowances and expenses frozen. In total she is expected to lose around €7,000 a month. Le Pen has said she refuses to “submit to persecution”. An opinion poll on Monday put Le Pen seven points clear of the centrist outsider Emmanuel Macron and his conservative rival François Fillon, who are tied on 20%, in the first round. However, the National Front leader would lose to both Macron and Fillon in the May 7 run-off, the poll predicted, by margins of 16 and 12 points respectively. Le Pen, who is running on an anti-immigration, anti-European platform, said in a documentary by BBC Two, named ‘After Brexit: The Battle For Europe’ on February 9th:
Le Pen also addressed the issue of the National Front being seen as racist, saying that the opinion is held only by foreigners and that “those critics no longer exist in France.” Le Pen received support, today, from anti-globalist advocates on Twitter.

Yiannopoulos has resigned as a tech editor for Breitbart, and he will take questions from the press on this subject, his rescinded invitation to CPAC, and his canceled book deal. “I would be wrong to allow my poor choice of words to detract from my colleagues’ important reporting, so today I am resigning from Breitbart, effective immediately,” Yiannopoulos said in a statement. “This decision is mine alone.” “The comments are not defensible,” Breitbart editor-in-chief Alex Marlow had said this morning on an episode of Breitbart News Daily. “The video does speak for itself and it says something very, very terrible.” <[RELATED: Pedophile Supporter? Milo reiterated what he said in a Facebook post that his words were being taken out of context and that the videos that were being spread online were heavily edited to show him in a negative light. He also answered several questions from the audience and denounced his position at Breitbart as a tech editor stating that he was resigning immediately and didn’t want to harm his colleagues important work. Noting that he takes full responsibility for what he said even though he didn’t feel that the videos portrayed what the media was saying. Milo expressed that he would still continue his tours and that his book “Dangerous” will still be published by another company and available at a later date.
