Glass Steagall is Now Solidly on the Agenda

Patricia J — Yesterday In Washington, Representatives Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Walter Jones (R-NC), Tim Ryan (D-OH), and Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) introduced the Return to Prudent Banking Act which re-instates FDR’s Glass-Steagall Act (H.R. 790). At the White House, Executive Intelligence Review’s Bill Jones asked press secretary Sean Spicer whether President Trump still supports his campaign promise to re-instate Glass-Steagall despite contrary statements by his Treasury nominee Steve Mnunchin. Spicer said Trump’s support for Glass-Steagall is “consistent.” The President still supports Glass-Steagall.
Forget the present Washington zoo and the daily psywar bombardment by a news media acting out a U.S. “color revolution” against the U.S. presidency.
Ask anyone presently engulfed in the present media generated hysteria: “What is your plan for a productive economy?” “What is your plan for productive jobs?” We have asked this of Congressmen and Senators and found the resulting silence stunning. Lyndon LaRouche emphasized today that Glass-Steagall is the enemy’s most vulnerable point—winning here opens the door to the remainder of the Four Laws and an actual revival of the physical, productive economy.
The four Congressional representatives introducing the bill noted that they were “urging President Donald Trump to live up to his campaign promise on reinstating Glass-Steagall in our banking system.”
