Citizen’s Rights: Common Law (Screw Our Corporatocracies!)

Common Law vs. Corporatocracy in Pennsylvania: Radio Free Kanata, January 1, 2017

We start the new year by examining the vision of a new society and one struggle to achieve it. In Grant Township, Pennsylvania, local citizens are uniting across party lines to use common law to reclaim their political power.
In what is perhaps America’s first law that legalizes direct action, this Township passed an ordinance permitting non-violent civil disobedience aimed at stopping local frack wastewater injection wells. The Township has also passed a Home Rule law that transfers authority over many matters from the state to local government. But the fracking companies are fighting back and seeking an injunction against the Township in federal courts.
Will local self-government win against the Corporatocracy? Ffind out from the front line activists in Grant Township, who are today’s guests.  With your regular host Kevin Annett.
This program will be followed by others that address the movement for personal, political and spiritual Reclamation. See www.itccs.org and www.murderbydecree.com .
