How to Cut Your Bills & Save Money

Banksters and Car Dealers have convinced us we need new cars.  I drove a car From Vincent De Paul Charity I paid $2600 for.  It was a cherry red Subaru Impreza with about 119,000 Miles on it.  I kept it for 8 1/2 years and spent about $8000 maintaining it at dealerships.  About $2,000 paid for maintaining it were Subaru Bucks or Chase Credit Card Rebates;  I had 2 Such Credit Cards.  I gave the car away to a mechanic after I had put 100,000 miles on it and it had nearly 230,000 miles on it needing transmission work costing about $1800.  So this Subaru ended up costing me about $8600 over 8 1/2 years  roughly $1000 a year all work done at the dealership.  The engine was excellent when I gave it away…I simply tired of repairs and problems getting parts as the car was now 18 years old.  This was the cheapest and best car I have ever owned.
