Gaetz Introduces Resolution To Withdraw U.S. Troops from Somalia

March 28, 2023, 2022 (EIRNS)—Rep. Matt Gaetz is introducing a war powers resolution to pull U.S. troops out of Somalia: “While the Congressional War Machine has decided to rage on in Syria, they must explain how continuing the occupation of Somalia best serves the interests of the American people at home. If they cannot, it is incumbent upon the Congress to bring our troops home from Somalia,” he told Fox News.

President Trump had removed all U.S. troops from Somalia; Biden put them back.
