I have great news. One of the most far-reaching pieces of legislation I’ve authored has now passed both the FULL House AND yesterday, passed the Senate committee.
We are only one step away from passage on a bill that is sure to get the President’s signature.  But that last step is going to be the hardest.
Let me tell you about the bill and why it’s so important you help me TAKE THE REINS today.
We can fix the burden of federal overregulation in this Congress. There is nothing more important to creating jobs and prosperity in our country than stopping these burdensome regulations.

In addition to the economic benefits of the REINS Act, there is one more important aspect of it you should know about – it restores the constitutional balance between the executive and Congress.
For too long now, laws haven’t been made by Congress. They’ve been made via executive order or regulation. Thousands of new regulations are created every year, and nothing is done to stop them.
The REINS Act changes all that by FORCING votes in Congress, without an possibility of filibusters, on any new major rule or executive action.
Congress will return to making the laws if REINS passes.
