In a searing public statement, former Vatican Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has leveled one of the most explosive charges yet against the Holy See’s conduct during the COVID era.

Viganò alleges that the Vatican did not merely stay silent, but that it actively collaborated with the architects of what he calls “one of the greatest operations of social control and health fraud in contemporary history.”

At the center of his indictment is a high-profile Vatican conference held on May 6, 2021, titled “Exploring the Mind, Body & Soul.”

While much of the world remained under severe restrictions, the Pontifical Council for Culture gave the opening platform not to a theologian or defender of natural law, but to Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Seated alongside him: Chelsea Clinton, Deepak Chopra, and top executives from Pfizer and Moderna.

Viganò calls the event a deliberate public demonstration of complicity.

“The Holy See did not limit itself to silence,” he wrote. “It offered its moral authority and its image to those who, in the name of ‘health,’ imposed limitations on fundamental freedoms, discrimination, blackmail, and above all experimental serums that have caused the deaths of millions.”

He argues Church leaders cannot claim ignorance.

Viganò says he publicly denounced the pandemic response as early as May 2020 and twice formally warned the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith against uncritical acceptance of the official narrative.

Those warnings, he states, were ignored.

He was ostracized.

“They cannot say they did not know. They cannot say they were not warned.”

The accusation goes further: by elevating Fauci and the pharmaceutical interests driving the global response, the Vatican helped cloak coercive policies and experimental interventions in the prestige of moral legitimacy, turning institutional silence into active collaboration.

Viganò’s final warning is stark: those who remain silent in the face of such actions, or worse, legitimize them, become co-responsible.

“May this not be forgotten. May it remain written.”

In that climate, institutions worldwide appeared fully aligned with Fauci’s agenda, as though the levers of global influence rested in his hands—and the Vatican elected to stand with those who reinforced that dominance rather than challenge it.
