Yes, Haitians sacrifice and also sometimes eat cat and dogs, and even wear their blood for voodoo religious reasons. Up to 90% of Haitians practice this religion. This is a fact. Here is one in Haiti cooking a cat over a gas stove in Haiti, and one in Ohio that just killed geese at the park. But lets look past just the “Pets being eaten” aspect, because that’s not even as bad as sacrificing them. (Ask a vegan which they think is worse) It would be ignorant to believe Haitians here illegally suddenly stopped having the same beliefs. Chickens and goats are the normal sacrifice used… but there are not chickens and goats readily available in the US, especially in middle class neighborhoods, or supported living complexes. So its pretty fair assumption to say that yes, a lot of pets coming up missing in areas housing high numbers of Haitian immigrants, are being used for ritual sacrifice and/or eating.
