The age of the average car on American roads is now 12.6 years.
The reason for this is because fewer and fewer people can afford new cars. They are totally unaffordable so people are just making due with older and older cars.
When Henry Ford built the Model-T he wanted to make sure that the workers who built his cars could afford them. Those days are long gone and the automobile industry is paying the price for this. If you build cars that nobody can afford, you won’t sell very many cars. That’s why inventory is piling up at car dealerships around the country. The issue is even worse for all these homosexual electric cars that they foolishly built because of government subsidization.
