EXCLUSIVE: Senator Richard Black Interview on how Endless Wars destroy America

Herland Report TV host, Hanne Herland speaks with US Senator Richard Black about how the endless wars destroy America, Deep State military complex, corruption and the prospects of world peace. We also address Libya, Syria, Yemen.

Senator Black is a Vietnam veteran, former prosecutor US Army and director at the Pentagon.

His impressive track record covers a career as a military officer and colonel, a pilot with US Marines in Vietnam, then going through law school, working as a prosecutor with the US Army, and retiring from the military and the Pentagon in 1994.

From then on, he embarked on a political career, and became a well-respected US Senator with remarkable knowledge and understanding of the world.

We spent several hours with the honorable Senator, who most graciously took of his time to elaborate on a variety of subjects. The outcome of these conversations will appear at The Herland Report news site and TV channel on YouTube.

The interview addresses how our current system has changed towards endless wars, neo-con foreign policy leading to the Arab Spring, Syria and Libya war. The question is: How can we return to international justice, and what do we mean by such a term?

Senator Black states: “There was this very dark, sinister cabal of individuals who began to emerge with Herbert Walker Bush. The Republican Party had been the party of peace up until that time. It was the Democrat who took us to war – the First World War, Second World War, the Korean War, Vietnam War – and then all of a sudden Herbert W. Bush, who had been head of the Central Intelligence Agency, which is not much difference of being head of the KGB, same type of thing, he flipped it.”

Senator Richard Black speaks about the Deep State military complex: “Bush said, we now have this tree legged stool where one of the legs of Conservatism is basically war. His son, George Bush, carried it on. The Democrats had always been a war organization, except during Vietnam where some of their base rose up, because they were threatened with the draft. Other than that, they have always been the force of war.”

“So, now you have the Democrats who favor war, and the Republicans who favor war. There is no peace party any longer and this is a great tragedy.”

“I had a military career and I fought very fierce battles in Vietnam. I was wounded, my radio men were killed right beside me.”

“As a pilot, my plane came back with bullet holes through the fuselage at different times, but I began to realize the tremendous disconnect between the people who fight, who are gallant, who are magnificent people, and the people who send them to war.”

“The people who send them to war are playing a game of global chess. They have no interest in the American soldiers, and marines, and the other services, they have no interest in the welfare of America, and I am talking as an American.”

“Their interest is in power, wealth, and how they can fit into this global enterprise which promotes war throughout the world and it does it through very deceptive means.”

Russia releases nuclear ‘hit list’ of US targets – Pentagon is on it

Russia has released a potential “hit list” in the event of nuclear war, and it has several major U.S. military targets in its crosshairs.

Targets include the Pentagon and Camp David, where President Donald Trump and other high-ranking U.S. officials often spend their time.SponsoredOne Simple Method To Keep Your Blood Sugar Below 100Watch MoreHealth Truth Finder

Russian state TV issued a report Sunday that contained the list of U.S. military targets that Russia would hit during nuclear warfare, Reuters reported Monday. The report also noted that Russia would be able to strike such targets in less than five minute thanks to a new hypersonic missile that’s in development. The targets were identified on the show “Vesti Nedeli” where host Dmitry Kiselyov presented a map of the U.S. and pointed to the locations that Russia would strike.

“For now, we’re not threatening anyone, but if such a deployment takes place, our response will be instant,” Kiselyov said.—&client=ca-pub-2195855909655763&output=html&h=280&adk=4210164850&adf=3273170748&pi=t.aa~a.2335123789~i.16~rp.4&w=650&fwrn=4&fwrnh=100&lmt=1618930712&num_ads=1&rafmt=1&armr=3&sem=mc&pwprc=1084711788&psa=0&ad_type=text_image&format=650×280&!2&btvi=1&fsb=1&xpc=imduoHezQ3&p=https%3A//

Reuters noted that Kiselyov is “close to the Kremlin” and a driver of the heavily anti-American sentiment prevalent on Russian state TV.Sponsored

All of the targets consisted of military command and training centers, as well as locations known as Presidential retreats. Two of them have been closed for more than a decade, however.

The targets also include Fort Ritchie, which closed in 1998, along with McClellan Air Force Base, which closed in 2001.

During Putin’s state of the nation address last week, he told Russian Parliament that while the country would not be involved in confrontational activities or be the first to deploy a missile, it would act in response to any new intermediate-range missile deployed to Europe from the U.S.—&client=ca-pub-2195855909655763&output=html&h=280&adk=4210164850&adf=1196453591&pi=t.aa~a.2335123789~i.30~rp.4&w=650&fwrn=4&fwrnh=100&lmt=1618930712&num_ads=1&rafmt=1&armr=3&sem=mc&pwprc=1084711788&psa=0&ad_type=text_image&format=650×280&!3&btvi=2&fsb=1&xpc=qoEFIENkVE&p=https%3A//

Although the U.S. currently has missiles deployed to Europe, the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty prohibited short-range missiles (from 310 to 620 miles) and intermediate-range missiles (from 620 to 3,420 miles). Now that the U.S. has withdrawn from the treaty, it could free them to expand deployment of these missiles – including the submarine-launched hypersonic missiles referenced in recent threats.

Putin noted last week that Russia would target the U.S. and its allies who choose to host such missile activities following the suspension of the INF Treaty. He would also direct new weapons to strike key “decision-making centers” in the U.S., hinting at Washington, D.C.

“It’s their right to think how they want. But can they count? I’m sure they can. Let them count the speed and the range of the weapons systems we are developing,” Putin had said, eliciting applause.

“Russia will be forced to create and deploy types of weapons which can be used not only in respect of those territories from which the direct threat to us originates, but also in respect of those territories where the centers of decision-making are located,” he said.

Putin noted that any intermediate-range missiles deployed by the U.S. would pose a significant threat to Russia, necessitating an urgent and vicious response.
