PEOPLE RISING!

I don’t know about you, but it definitely feels like something is up, especially considering the vast amount of astonishing civil unrest popping up all over the world.

Unfortunately, a lot of people probably don’t know a thing about any of these protests because the mainstream media doesn’t talk about them.

Coming from someone who has been covering protests for most of my life, I can safely say it seems like there’s more protest, more unrest, and more unhappiness than ever before.

In this video we talk about how we are on the precipice of facing either a really bad reality or a really good one.

Why are we seeing a sudden increase in protests? What is causing this large mass dissatisfaction? I believe it has a lot to do with a sense of injustice as corruption continues to be revealed thanks to the internet, social media, and independent reporting.

People are putting their trust in government and putting their faith in government, and for some reason they keep wanting more government. Why?

In this video, we discuss the IMF and the successful protests in Ecuador. People have been taking to the streets due to austerity that has caused the price of common goods to increase in an attempt to help pay back loans. The burden has been placed on the everyday Ecuadorian and they’re not standing for it.

In Haiti and Barcelona, people are taking to the streets fighting back against corruption and taxation. In France, the Yellow Vest movement is repelling globalism.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world to talk to these people and to connect what’s really happening. The mainstream media wants you to believe that the elites are in control and that everything is fine, but that’s not the case. People are feeling the squeeze and seeing the injustice and they’re speaking out. And there’s a reason you’re not being shown that on the news. There’s a lot we can learn from massive protest movements.

People coming together, rising up, and saying “hey, we’re not ok with this” actually makes an impact. If protests didn’t work, they would be all over the news.

To fix these injustices and the corruption around the world do we need more government? More middlemen? More regulations? Or do we need individuals to be responsible and understand their freedom and to determine how they live their own lives?

The second you give up your power, you allow people to fill that vacuum and, more often than not, the people who want to fill that vacuum are the most corrupt and evil of all.

Only through independent media can we be fully informed and able to empower ourselves with the knowledge to navigate the world. And only through many small, positive actions will we make change.
