Nothing seems to highlight this more than the recent Jussie Smollett debacle. A man who recently used his sexuality and color to attack an entire group of people he disagreed with politically. In what appears to be an attempt to garner media attention and a better deal amid rumors of being written out of the TV series he was on, Smollett allegedly staged a physical attack on himself by two Nigerian friends.After they played their role he reported to police he had been beaten in a racist homophobic attack, while claiming he had a noose put around his neck and bleached poured on him. All while the assailants cried “This is MAGA country”, a narrative so ridiculously perfect for today’s media, that not only could it not be ignored, it was amplified to new levels. Of course, we know how all this played out giving the extreme left and the media that enflames their outrage a huge black eye. That is why it is so important to support independent media that is not going to skew information to one side of a political spectrum. After all, it is nothing more than an illusion perpetrated by the ruling class to divide us and keep us fighting amongst one another while they consolidate power in the background.
