Trump’s Travel Ban Too Broad: Permanent Residents Have Due Process Rights
President Donald Trump’s travel ban should be “redrafted” – even though the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals “was wrong in that they wouldn’t enforce the parts that were totally constitutional, totally legal,” Freedom Watch founder Larry Klayman told Newsmax TV on Friday.
“It was drafted too broadly,” Klayman told host Steve Malzberg on “America Talks Live” in an interview. “They went too broad because they dealt with permanent residents, who do have due-process rights.
“You just can’t exclude them without giving them a hearing,” he said.
