UPDATED: Russia Will Not Eject U.S. Diplomats in Response to Sanctions
Posted: 30 Dec 2016 03:45 AM PST MOSCOW, RUSSIA (WeAreChange) — Update: Putin did not take Obama’s bait! Never before has an outgoing president tried to sabotage any improvement in U.S. foreign relations for the incoming president like President Obama. After Obama’s unprecedented expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats, Putin’s response was to invite all American diplomat’s children to a Kremlin Christmas Party! He simply left Obama to stew in his own irrelevance saying he will take up the matter with the new administration. Now may I suggest with all proper protocol that you go to hell and take Hillary Clinton with you. Update by Stanley Laham Original story: Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was quoted by the agencies as saying he had proposed the measures to President Vladimir Putin. “Russia’s foreign ministry … has requested that the Russian president approve declaring as personae non gratae 31 employees of the US embassy in Moscow and four diplomats from the US consulate in Saint Petersburg,” Lavrov said on TV. The ministry is also seeking to ban diplomats from using a holiday home located in western Moscow and a warehouse in the north of the city, Lavrov said, after President Barack Obama said the US would close two Russian compounds. Lavrov said the two Russian country houses in New York and Maryland were used for children’s holidays and rejected the notion they were “nests of spies.” US President Barack Obama on Thursday ordered the expulsion of 35 Russian suspected spies and imposed sanctions on two Russian intelligence agencies over unfounded claims they hacked the US 2016 presidential election. “We of course cannot leave these stunts unanswered. Reciprocity is the law in diplomacy and international relations,” he said, hoping that Putin approves the requests “promptly.” He said that allegations that Russia interfered in US elections were baseless. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev accused the outgoing Obama administration of ending in “anti-Russian death throes”. Surviving the Storm Before The Calm
Posted: 29 Dec 2016 05:32 PM PST Guest post by Rosanne Lindsay
Do you have trouble waking up? Does a tight feeling in your gut cause you to pull the covers over your head to return to your dreams? But wake up you must. Today is another day and you are the creator of your story. Why dream your life away when you came here not only to move your body, but to move mountains? If you woke up one day over the last twelve months to discover major societal shifts on the planet, you are not alone. This is the beginning of the storm before the calm. The tremors and quakes taking place all over the earth, both emotionally and physically, are far from over. They reflect a transformation on all levels in a struggle for control. Societal controls are based on systems, laws, and statutes. Such laws serve to bind, limit, and constrict. New mandates prevent choice and lock-in in a Master-Slave, credit-debtor relationship through a hierarchy of power – the many ruled by a few. However, above the fray we are in the throws of a spiritual evolution that will not be contained. More of us are now coming to realize that we do not have to conform to the systems to which we have been conditioned since birth. We are remembering that we are born free on a Free Will planet. We are each a body, mind, and spirit. The biophysical and the metaphysical. We’ve forgotten that nature’s laws supersede man’s laws, and these are the only laws that we need to accept as our birthright. Attempts by authorities to control freedom are out of alignment with our true nature and will naturally fall apart. Resistance, for the resisters, is futile. Power grabs by systems (political, governmental, religious, etc.), using fear-based tactics, are a desperate, last gasp effort to maintain control. To the extent that they achieve control is because we allow it. We allow others to control us when we give up responsibility for our own bodies and minds “for the common good.” When we consent to draconian laws, and beg for rights, we secure our own enslavement. Natural rights are inherent and inborn. Rights granted by governments are really privileges that can be taken away on a whim. All government is contract law. We either consent or we do not. Just because a peacock fans his feathers to make himself look bigger to intimidate, does not mean we bow down. During the “awakening” process you may feel out of balance physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. You may experience migraines, joint pains, and sleep problems. You may experience breakdown in relationships or health. This is normal during soul growth spurts. However, you always remain in control. You can choose whether your awakening process will be experienced as a roadblock or as a steppingstone to reach your potential. You determine the outcome through your intention. As always, you are not faced with anything that you are unable to handle. You are a soul living in a body. You are multidimensional and limitless. Don’t limit yourself by what you see in the mirror. This is an exciting time to be alive. We can use this shift in our favor. Be proactive instead of reactive. In order to adapt to the shift you have to shift with the shift, not against it. The most important thing when faced with a storm is to empower yourself. What are some of the most important things to know to help transcend the bumps on this ride?
Listen to the wisdom of your body. Your body reflects your limitless power to create since we physically remake ourselves in every moment. Your red blood cells renew themselves every four months. Your bones build a whole new skeleton in three months. Your DNA every two months. Your liver regenerates itself in six weeks, your skin in one month. The lining of your stomach every five days, and your brain rebuilds itself in one year. Your entire body remakes itself in less than two years. You could say that every day is a new opportunity to create a new you. Don’t forget to get enough sleep. Especially now, sleep when you are sleepy to literally recharge.

WTF?!! California Democrats Legalize Child Prostitution
Posted: 29 Dec 2016 04:54 PM PST Pizzagate wasn’t only meant to raise suspicions of a pizza shop owner in DC and a whole DC strip. It was meant to convey the meaning of “cheese pizza” as pedophiles use it – code for child pornography. Now California Democrats have done the unthinkable – they just essentially legalized child prostitution by passing SB 1322. SB 1322 states that children caught committing prostitution can no longer be arrested and charged with the pay for sex crime law. The law bars law enforcement from arresting underage sex workers only allowing them to temporarily detain kids caught in very limited circumstances. Yes, you read that right, you don’t need glasses this isn’t a dream you can stop smacking yourself in the face to try and wake up. This is our sick reality. Although the implementation of the law is supposedly to help those children exploited for sex by pedophiles, the counter effect here is that teenage girls and boys in California more specifically Hollywood – which is a den of vultures for pedophiles – will soon be free to have sex in exchange for money without fear of arrest or prosecution. It’s one thing to charge these exploited children – it’s a whole other scenario to say that these children being exploited can no longer be detained by police to get them out of harm’s way from the pimp lobby. The bill is supposedly designed with the intention that “this is our opportunity to do what we say is right in cases of sex trafficking: stop the exploiters and help the exploited.” The bill also “requires that law enforcement continue to immediately report allegations of commercial sexual exploitation involving juveniles to agencies charged with protecting and counseling them.” It also requires that the “Courts would still be responsible for overseeing the care that trafficked youths receive while they remain underage, in the absence of responsible parents or guardians.”
On January 1st when the bill is set to take effect that means that Hollywood, the haven for pedophiles, the “vultures den” as Corey Feldman has called it will now have kids freely prostituting themselves without any consequence for the kids on the street. Still remaining though will be consequences for the adults involved if caught. That’s the big if – otherwise pimps will turn to using more underage 17 and younger females and males to make their profits as it’s less risk for the pimps from jail time that takes away their profits when their prostitutes are caught. That means that California successfully just opened a whole new Pandora’s box. You can read the full press release below. The bill has officially been signed into law by California Governor Jerry Brown.

Remember The Massacre At Wounded Knee
Posted: 29 Dec 2016 01:48 PM PST by Peter Cole written for Jacobinmag. On this day in 1890, the US Army murdered as many as 300 Native American men, women, and children. As dawn appeared on December 29, 1890, about 350 Lakota Indians awoke, having been forced by the US Army to camp the night before alongside the Wounded Knee Creek in South Dakota. The US Cavalry’s 7th Regiment had “escorted” them there the day prior and, now, surrounded the Indians with the intent to arrest Chief Big Foot (also called Spotted Elk) and disarm the warriors. When a disagreement erupted, army soldiers opened fire, including with Hotchkiss machine guns. Within minutes, hundreds of children, men, and women were shot down. Perhaps as many as three hundred killed and scores wounded that morning. Few Americans now know that the deadliest shootings in US history were massacres of native peoples. Today is the anniversary of the largest such massacre. The event’s common name, “The Battle of Wounded Knee,” obscures the true horrors of that day. For this was no “battle” — it was a massacre. A People’s DreamIndigenous peoples were the first to experience the wrath of European conquerors. While no one knows how many people lived in what is now the United States, estimates range from two to eight million before contact. By 1900, about two hundred thousand remained, nearly all consigned to remote wastelands in the interior west that elites considered worthless. The Lakota, comprised of seven bands, was the largest and most powerful of a larger group of Indians who lived in the northern Plains that together are called Sioux. For most of the nineteenth century, they fiercely resisted the encroachment of US authority and people on their homeland. Few US citizens or European immigrants lived in the vast interior until after the Civil War. Then, thanks largely to the US government, millions streamed westward aboard government-financed transcontinental railroad lines. The immense lands — seized from Indian nations — and abundant natural resources drew white people wanting to farm, ranch, and mine. They hoped to live independent lives and, just maybe, get rich. The US government also dispatched the Army to protect “settlers” from increasingly angry Indians. The government and citizenry considered the lands that Indians had lived upon for millennia to be the property of the United States. Accordingly, natives were killed, displaced, or forced onto “reservations.” The US compelled Indian nations to sign treaties, sacrificing their traditional lands for other, far-smaller parcels often far from home. Generally, these “negotiations” were of the “or else” variety — as in: sign the treaty or be killed. Plains Indians also were promised some money and food rations to replace their buffalo hunting and semi-nomadic lifestyles, which their entire culture was based upon. Most Indians despised these treaties and only agreed to them under the threat of violent extermination. Sioux chief Spotted Tail, for instance, declared, “We do not want to live like the white man . . . The Great Spirit gave us hunting grounds, gave us the buffalo, the elk, the deer, and the antelope. Our fathers have taught us to hunt and live on the Plains, and we are contented.” After the Civil War, dozens of Indian nations found themselves trapped between destructive government policies and ongoing settler invasion. Not surprisingly, many Indians resisted. So throughout the 1860s, 1870s, and 1880s, the United States engaged in dozens of wars against the Arapaho, Kiowa, Comanche, Nez Perce, Bannock, Apache, Ute, Blackfoot, Navajo, and others. The most well-known such war took place between the United States and Lakota Sioux (with Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho allies) in the Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming territories. In 1868, the Treaty of Fort Laramie had ended the Powder River War and set aside a “Great Sioux Reservation in perpetuity.” However, many Sioux bands had not signed including Chief Sitting Bull’s Hunkpapa Sioux, Chief Red Cloud’s Oglala, and Spotted Tail’s Brulé. In response to settler incursions and to defend their homeland and lifestyle, the Sioux raided white settlements, intimidated federal agents, and harassed miners, settlers, and railroads. As the renewed war raged, Colonel George Custer of the 7th Cavalry Regiment led a force into the Black Hills, the sacred heart of the Sioux, in southwestern South Dakota. Custer did so contrary to the Fort Laramie Treaty, which guaranteed that the Black Hills would remain “off-limits” to white settlement. When Custer reported huge deposits of gold, a stampede of white prospectors flooded in, followed by the Army for “protection.” The New York Herald, among the nation’s leading papers, summed up the general feeling of white Americans:
(In 1980, the US Supreme Court ruled in United States v. Sioux Nation of Indians that the taking of the Black Hills, in fact, had broken the Fort Laramie Treaty and awarded the Sioux compensation. Although due to compound interest the total has risen to nearly $1.5 billion, the Sioux refuse to accept this money, seeing it as a bribe. Instead, they still want their land back.) Treaties be damned, the Army demanded that all Indians report to reservations by January 31, 1876, or be hunted down. When most refused, the Army dispatched troops to the Little Bighorn River basin in south central Montana. Shortly thereafter, Custer underestimated his Sioux and Cheyenne enemy, divided his too-few troops, and attacked a huge encampment of several thousand warriors. Famously, his troops were surrounded and obliterated at “Custer’s Last Stand,” which was really more a roving battle. Stunned by this defeat, the Army redoubled its efforts to defeat the Lakota, committing thousands more troops to this war. One by one, bands of Indians were forced to surrender and confined to reservations. Sitting Bull, cleverly, relocated with his people to Canada, in 1877, where the US Army could not follow. However, in 1881, after years of hunger due to the steady extermination of bison, Sitting Bull and his people returned to the States and surrendered, the last Lakota band to do so. The Army’s strategy of starving the Indians — by killing off their primary food source — had worked to perfection just as Colonel Richard Dodge predicted in 1867, “Every buffalo dead is an Indian gone.” Meanwhile, the Black Hills became the nation’s most profitable gold-mining region, producing enormous wealth for white miners — including a man named George Hearst, who became one of the nation’s richest men. His son, William Randolph, turned that fortune into the nation’s most powerful newspaper empire. The Sioux ended up in Pine Ridge and four other reservations scattered across South Dakota, North Dakota, and Nebraska. Treaties be damned, in the late 1880s the government reduced Sioux meat rations while many of their cattle died from disease. The Sioux became increasingly desperate: their lands taken, the bison — at one time numbering in the many millions — perhaps down to a few thousand, their entire way of life decimated. And, now, they were starving. Many remaining Plains Indians, including Sioux, sought solace and answers in religion. Wovoka, a prophet of the Great Basin (Paiute) Indians, promised the Sioux they would return to prominence and white people would be wiped out, if they embraced the Ghost Dance — not unlike visions that Christians might experience with fasting and solitude. As the Ghost Dance spread like wildfire, Army officials worried that this religious revival could lead to a Sioux uprising. To squash this possibility, the Army ordered the arrest of Sitting Bull, a rallying point of the Ghost Dance, where he lived on the Standing Rock Reservation. (Of course, this place and people recently became famous due to the heroic stand of Standing Rock Sioux in resisting the Dakota Access Pipeline from crossing some of their sacred lands and endangering their water supplies.) But Sitting Bull refused to go quietly, resisted arrest, so was shot and killed. With Sitting Bull eliminated, the Army next sought out Big Foot and his followers, who soon headed to the Pine Ridge Reservation, where they hoped they might be safe alongside Red Cloud’s band. On December 28, 1890, soldiers in the 7th Cavalry, the same unit that had suffered ignominious defeat with Custer, intercepted 350 Indians near Pine Ridge. The Army rounded up the starving and freezing natives, with Chief Big Foot suffering from pneumonia, and had them make camp at Wounded Knee. US soldiers, numbering perhaps five hundred, commenced disarming the Indians the next morning. One can imagine the tension, the Ghost Dance having sparked a renewed sense of pride and empowerment among the defeated Sioux. The Army was tasked with keeping the Sioux pacified and confined to reservations. Sitting Bull had been killed two weeks prior; now, the Army sought to arrest and disarm another band of Sioux warriors. Black Coyote, however, resisted giving up his gun — perhaps because he was deaf and could not understand English. In the scuffle that ensued, a shot rang out. Instantly, US soldiers opened fire with their weapons including the four Hotchkiss machine guns. Among the most powerful weapons of the era, the Army had used these against Indians previously. Not only did the machine gunners target warriors scrambling for what weapons they could find, they also raked teepees full of children and women. Those running towards a nearby ravine also were cut down. Though the Indians mostly had been disarmed, some still possessed weapons or grabbed some from those already confiscated. While the machine guns mowed down the defenseless, people scattered in every direction. Soldiers, no longer following orders or discipline, chased down and killed any Indian, armed or not. Army general Nelson Miles visited this killing field a few days later. He expressed shock that women with babies in their arms had been shot down, several miles from the initial “battle” site, indicating that soldiers systematically hunted down all who fled. Dee Brown, author of the popular history Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, places the number of Indians killed at about three hundred, including at least a hundred children and women as well as Big Foot. They were buried in mass graves. Twenty-five US soldiers died, too, many quite possibly from friendly fire. Black Elk, made famous in John Neihardt’s Black Elk Speaks: Being the Life Story of a Holy Man of the Oglala Sioux, published in 1961, survived Wounded Knee:
One of ManyWounded Knee is commonly described as the last “battle” in the US-Indian Wars. It could be seen as the deadliest mass shooting in US history. It certainly wasn’t the only one. The US Army killed about 250 Shoshone during the Bear River Massacre in southeastern Idaho in 1863. As recently discussed in Smithsonian, “200 soldiers under Colonel Patrick Connor’s command killed 250 or more Shoshone, including at least ninety women, children, and infants. The Shoshone were shot, stabbed, and battered to death. Some were driven into the icy river to drown or freeze.” In eastern Colorado in 1864, the Sand Creek Massacre occurred. There, US soldiers attacked peaceful, unarmed Cheyenne and Arapaho Indians “with carbines and cannon, killing at least 150 Indians, most of them women, children and the elderly. Before departing, the troops burned the village and mutilated the dead, carrying off body parts as trophies.” In 1870, the US Army accidentally killed the “wrong” group of Indians, in the Baker or Marias Massacre. In north-central Montana, along the Marias River, Major Eugene Baker ordered his soldiers to attack a village of peaceful Blackfeet. When informed by a subordinate that this group was not the one the troops were looking for, Baker responded, “That makes no difference, one band or another of them; they are all Piegans [Blackfeet] and we will attack them.” About 175 unarmed Blackfeet were murdered, the great majority children and women. Countless killings of smaller numbers of Indians happened throughout US history, including an untold number due to the 1755 bounty put on the “heads” of Wabanaki Indians in Maine and the slaughter of twenty Conestoga Indians by the “Paxton Boys” in 1763 in Pennsylvania. These and other mass Indian killings remain unknown by the great majority of Americans. Wounded Knee (and Bear River, Sand Creek, and Marias) simply do not exist in the collective memory of non-natives. Native lives still do not fit into the larger narrative of US history. Of course, Indians have not forgotten. In 1973, two hundred members of the American Indian Movement (AIM), a militant civil rights organization partially styled after the Black Panthers, returned to Wounded Knee to demand the federal government live up to nineteenth-century treaty obligations. Quickly surrounded by police and federal agents, AIM supporters engaged in a seventy-one-day standoff that left two natives dead and one federal agent paralyzed, the so-called Second Battle of Wounded Knee. Two years later, another clash between AIM and federal law enforcement on the Pine Ridge Reservation left two FBI agents dead and Leonard Peltier found guilty of first-degree murder, though he always has maintained his innocence. Currently, his supporters including Amnesty International, which claims his trail was unfair, hope for clemency from President Obama during his final days in office. In recent years members of the Northern Arapaho of Wyoming and Northern Cheyenne of Montana, along with Southern Arapaho and Cheyenne tribes of Oklahoma and their allies, commemorate the Sand Creek Massacre with a four-day march. They walk or run nearly two hundred miles, from the location of the killings, now a National Historic Site, to the state capitol building in Denver. Unfortunately, many Americans do not know of Wounded Knee and other indigenous massacres. The tragic shooting in Orlando earlier this year highlights this invisibility when that tragedy, which left forty-nine dead, repeatedly was labeled the “worst shooting in US history.” In fact, as Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz reminds us, Native Americans have not disappeared even if their role in US history is forgotten. During the past few months, the inspired and inspiring actions of the Standing Rock Sioux have compelled all Americans to acknowledge Indian existence and resistance. They also demonstrate what an indigenous-led, multiethnic social movement can look like. Sitting Bull would be proud of these water defenders, his descendants. Past and present, the Sioux and other American Indians have charted a path of defiance and independence despite genocidal efforts by European conquerors and American settlers. Today, we remember a particularly brutal chapter in the violent effort to wipe out America’s first peoples. by Peter Cole written for Jacobinmag. Army Colonel Robert Rice Sentenced to 12 Years in Child Pornography Case
Posted: 29 Dec 2016 01:26 PM PST Army Colonel Robert Rice who at one point in time headed the U.S. Army’s Strategic War Games Division has been convicted of intent to download and distribute child pornography according to AP. Col. Robert Rice, 59, will face 12 years in federal prison for sharing the illicit images. Rice was arrested in 2013 and charged earlier this year in October after he plead guilty to three counts of child pornography during a military court. During today’s trial, Rice told Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, U.S. District Judge Christopher Conner that he was “deeply ashamed” and he acknowledged that the victims of child pornography may never heal from the abuse they suffered. “When this began I didn’t see the human beings,” Rice said. “I came to realize that this is not a victimless crime. That each time an image is passed it renews the … emotional damage,” he, added. He also confessed that he felt that he was responsible and ashamed that he enabled the cycle of abuse. “I am so sorry and ashamed for what I did to continue that cycle,” Rice, said. Rice was convicted by a jury, and Assistant U.S. Attorney James Clancy. Clancy said, that “the severity of this kind of crime cannot be overstated,” According to Clancy, Rice is said to have worn his full military uniform every single day to his trial. Rice blamed his wife for his situation, telling U.S. District Judge Christopher Conner that his own actions put his wife in an impossible position. Although, he said he took “full responsibility” and that he had brought dishonor on the Army. He apologized to the Army, his family members, his friends and investigators. “She had the moral courage to do what was right, and I did not,” Rice said. Rice’s criminal activity became known to investigators after software had been installed on one of his computers according to U.S. District Judge Christopher Conner. Conner said that Rice had a large number of images and displayed knowledge of and experience in trading child pornography, actions that occurred over an extended period of time. Conner didn’t note if this software was voluntarily installed or remotely installed on Rice’s computer. Rice’s attorney argued that Rice’s age put him at a low risk of being a re-offender and committing the same felony, and that the army colonel has benefited from the counseling he has received. Rice was fined $5,100 for his crime and will have to spend 10 years under supervision upon his release from his 12 year prison sentence. In the previous sentencing, Rice was given a mere four years in prison, but his recent sentencing added on an additional 8 years. However, the case still has to be reviewed and the sentencing and findings have to be accepted by district commander, Maj. Gen. Bradley Becker. Putin Announces A Cease-Fire Deal Has Been Reached In Syria
Posted: 29 Dec 2016 01:19 PM PST Russia’s president Vladimir Putin has announced that a third agreement at a cease-fire to end the hostilities in Syria’s bloody civil war conflict has been reached with the rebels and the Syrian government and military in agreement. “Hostilities will end on Friday at midnight local time,” Putin said. Syria’s military today has said it agreed to the nationwide cease-fire through a broadcast of the state media. “We have just received news that a few hours ago the event we have all been waiting for and working towards has happened.” “Three documents have been signed,” Putin, said during a televised meeting with Russia’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, and its defense minister, Sergei Shoigu. “The first document is between the Syrian government and the armed opposition on a cease-fire on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic. The second document is a package of measures to control the cease-fire regime. And the third document is a statement on readiness to begin peace talks on the Syrian settlement.” “Russia and Turkey will guarantee the truce,” Putin added. Both countries have agreed to meet for peace talks in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, a former Soviet republic. A meeting was supposed to take place in Turkey but was abruptly canceled after the assassination of Russia’s Turkish ambassador. “Putin spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on a telephone conference to discuss the agreement and both are satisfied with the stipulations reached,” according to The Kremlin. “Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has alleged that the truce will include 62,000 opposition fighters across Syria,” the AP reported. He, added that they would welcome U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to join the Syrian peace process after he takes office January 20th. Last week the Syrian army re-took the rebel besieged city of Allepo. However the ceasefire does obviously not cover the Islamic State and other al-Qaeda affiliate groups operating in Syria and around it’s borders. So further military operations can be expected in joint with the Assad government to continue sweeping the middle east of the ISIL terrorists. The Syrian cease fire has been broken at least two times in the past year once in July 2016 and again in September 2016 after a US-British airstrike aimed at killing ISIL instead killed 60 Syrian government soldiers due to lack of communication between the two countries and the Syrian government and it’s President Bashar al-Assad. But the U.S. wasn’t the only country to blame Syria itself and the rebels also violated the agreement. One month later in October the U.S. formerly exited Syrian peace talks process after accusing Moscow of not living up to its commitments. This would be the third cease fire attempt made in Syria. The key difference this time is “now Assad controls the two most important cities in the country,” according to Robert Pearson, a former U.S. ambassador to Turkey. He added. “rebels suffered a catastrophic defeat,” USA Today, reported. The post Putin Announces A Cease-Fire Deal Has Been Reached In Syria appeared first on We Are Change. |
George Soros Throws Tantrum Over Donald Trump
Posted: 29 Dec 2016 01:02 PM PST Controversial billionaire and Hillary Clinton donor George Soros threw a massive temper tantrum over Donald Trump on Wednesday, referring to the president-elect as a “would-be dictator.” Soros, an extreme proponent of globalization, wrote in an opinion blog post on Project Syndicate that Trump is a threat to the open society model that he advocates for.
Soros took aim at Trump himself, calling him a “con artist.” “Democracy is now in crisis. Even the US, the world’s leading democracy, elected a con artist and would-be dictator as its president. Although Trump has toned down his rhetoric since he was elected, he has changed neither his behavior nor his advisers. His cabinet comprises incompetent extremists and retired generals.” Soros also claimed that “targeted minorities will suffer,” as the US will be “preoccupied with internal struggles.” “Trump will prefer making deals to defending principles. Unfortunately, that will be popular with his core constituency,” the Democratic Party donor wrote. During the election season, Wikileaks revealed an email with the subject ‘Unrest in Albania,’ containing a message from Soros to Clinton while she was Secretary of State. The financier threw his weight around and gave the former First Lady orders, which she followed. In the email, Soros told the then-Secretary of State that “two things need to be done urgently.” He then directs the Secretary of State to “bring the full weight of the international community to bear on Prime Minister Berisha” and “appoint a senior European official as mediator.” Clinton complied, choosing Miroslav Lajcak — one of the two officials suggested by Soros.
