As I look at fifty years of sorrowful empire capped off in recent years by clear evidence of “control fraud” on the part of the US Government — not just legalizing massive crimes against humanity by Goldman Sachs et all, but also actively participating in the drug trade, the arms trade, casting a blind eye on the slave trade, illegal immigration, etcetera — I have to come to the conclusion that the US Government at the political (elected, appointee) level, and generally at the senior rank (uniformed flags, senior executive service) level, are not at all interested in the public interest. Instead they pursue an agenda that benefits the very few while impoverishing the many.
