Twenty years after the invasion of Iraq, we still have a large percentage of Americans who agree with the decision to invade the country.
RT:
Two decades after the US invaded Iraq, the majority of Americans realize the war was a mistake, according to an Axios/Ipsos poll released this week. While two-thirds of Americans approved of the military action in 2003, 61% now believe it was the wrong decision.
When the US ground invasion of Iraq began on March 20, 2003, just 26% of respondents to a Pew poll opposed military action to overthrow Saddam Hussein’s government.
Support was heavily skewed by political affiliation, with 83% of Republicans favoring invasion compared to 52% of Democrats. That divide has persisted two decades later, with a much smaller majority (58%) of Republicans still insisting the US was right to invade. Only 26% of Democrats still think it was a good idea.
The majority of Americans (67%) don’t believe the war in Iraq made the US any safer, according to the Ipsos poll, which was conducted last week among 1,018 Americans over 18 years old.
How the hell can four out of ten Americans think the Iraq war was justified? The war was based on lies about weapons of mass destruction and was an enormous waste of American blood and treasure. There was nothing good that came out of the invasion unless you happen to be a high level executive of a weapons manufacturer, a Jew or an Israeli Jew.
This just speaks to how stupid the average American is. The sad thing is that these stupid people have just as much say in what happens as somebody who is actually informed about things. This is why everything is collapsing and why Jews were able to subvert the country and control the various levers of power.
America was never meant to be a democracy where incapable retards had the right to vote. Democracy is the worst system of government imaginable. You simply can’t have a functioning society where large numbers of retards have a say in it.
