CARLSON: There are a lot of faraway places in this world — Namibia for example — but Europe is not one of them. Europe is the place where your children spent their junior year. Europe is an easy flight from the East Coast of the United States to pretty much anywhere on the continent and you know this because you’ve been on vacation in Europe, as millions of Americans have.

Most people speak English in Europe. They’ve got Starbucks and Taco Bell and air conditioning and modern hospitals. This isn’t another world.

So given that, given how closely related the United States is to Europe and has always been, you would imagine our leaders would notice when Europe began to fall apart, especially when the signs were not subtle at all — and they weren’t.

Germans have begun to clear-cut ancient forests in order to heat their homes this summer. Polish families waited hours in line to purchase coal just as they did 150-years ago. In the UK, the government projected that more than 10,000 Britons will freeze to death, will die, this winter for lack of heating fuel — freeze to death in England. This isn’t supposed to occur in first-world countries.

So, Europe is moving backward at high speed and it’s not clear where it will end. It begs the simple question, “Why is it happening?” This is the simple answer: Ukraine’s war. That’s why it’s happening.

A huge percentage of Europe’s energy came from Russia. These imports are now banned in an attempt to sanction Vladimir Putin. What’s the result of this punishment? The Russian ruble has become far more powerful than it was one year ago. While the European economy continues to collapse, it is also strengthening. The Europeans are now much less prosperous than they were before the Ukraine war began.

What is the difference between a win for Europe and the West? Well, that’s a fair question. It’s an obvious question, but no one in Washington appears to be asking that question. The Biden administration, on the other hand, is increasing the number of self-destructive errors that are ruining the European Union.

Russian oil, natural gas, and coal were banned by the White House. We had to do it as a moral obligation. Then at the same time, the Biden administration crushed domestic oil production here by canceling oil and gas leases and then, as if that wasn’t enough, the Biden administration sold a piece of our Strategic Petroleum Reserve, maybe this country’s most important resource, to China.

Putin was not affected by any of these events. The United States is impoverished by all of this.

What could be the reason for this? We’ve wondered. Everyone who pays attention must have wondered.

This week Congressman Jamie Raskin, Maryland, answered the question. Russia is a traditional Christian country that holds to Christian values. We must destroy it, regardless of the price.

This is not an ordinary war. It is called jihad. Jamie Raskin stated this out loud. However, Washingtonians in both political parties agree with him. They want to see World War Trans happen immediately.

What will jihad for me mean? The details are amazing.

Thanks to the Biden administration’s religious war in Ukraine, this country is about to run out of diesel fuel. According to data from the Energy Information Administration, by the Monday of Thanksgiving week, (that’s 25 days from now), there will be no more diesel. What will happen? Everything will be stopped. This means that trucks, trains and barges will all be unable to move.

The farm equipment will be shut down. There will be no deliveries because there’ll be no trucks. There’ll be no diesel generators and then inevitably, our economy will crash because everything runs on diesel fuel — not on solar panels, not on wind farms, on diesel fuel. Diesel is not negotiable. You must have diesel.

So what happens when we don’t have it? Well, yesterday, FOX’s Jacqui Heinrich, apparently alone in the White House press corps, asked the White House spokesman, John Kirby, that very question. What’s the plan here? We’re running out of diesel.

John Kirby was standing on the podium as the president of the United States. He represented the White House. The administration is the biggest organization in the history of humankind. But don’t worry, he said, we will be exporting plenty of energy to Europe to help fight that progressive crusade in Ukraine. Watch.

JACQUI Heinrich, FOX NEWS CHANNEL CORRESPONDENT – What can be done to improve the availability of diesel? The Energy Information Administration reported that there was only a 25-day supply in the US as of October 14. New York and the Northeast already have to ration their home heating oils. How can we prepare for winter?

ADM. JOHN KIRBY (RET), COORDINATOR FOR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS AT THE NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL: I’ll take the question on the diesel, because I just don’t have the data on that in front me. So let me take that and we’ll get back to you on that, but writ large, the President has been working very, very hard to make sure that we’re — that not only are we ready for fluctuations that could come and of course, the prices are going down and we think that’s important.

We are doing everything we can to support our European partners and friends who will also be dealing with a cold, long winter. We have doubled our commitment, the commitment he made in March for natural gas exports to Europe, we’ve doubled that commitment in terms of actual getting things over there, getting natural gas over there and we are working with foreign suppliers of natural gas and oil to see if we can’t help our European partners diversify their own storage and supplies.

CARLSON – So pause, and enjoy the irony. Because now all is irony. They’ve been telling you for decades since Al Gore left the White House that the single greatest threat to the world was warming and because of their efforts to fight warming, you are in danger of freezing and unlike warming, freezing actually kills people, a lot of people every year, and it will kill people in the West this year, thanks to their efforts to fight warming.

Okay. The second thing to notice is the White House spokesman’s totally uninterested, blase response to the most basic question anyone could ask, which is, “What are we doing about the fact we’re running out of diesel fuel?” He has no idea and he’s not embarrassed that he has no idea.

There may not yet be an answer, as there is no way to stop a disaster. This country has low diesel fuel. It also has low levels in all Western countries that have allied themselves with Ukraine. These countries are all running out diesel fuel as they prepare for World War Trans.

As “New York”The Magazine reported that “The last time there was this little supply (of diesel), there were about 3.5 billion fewer people on the planet.”That puts things in perspective.

As you all know, the Biden Administration responded earlier in this year to rising gas prices because they were most afraid of the midterms coming in just two days. This was done by tapping Strategic Petroleum Reserves. However, that won’t work in this instance.

A million barrels are of diesel stored in the Northeast’s heating oil reserve for emergencies. Problem is, demand for heating oil is so great that it is not possible to keep up with the rising costs. “The Washington Post,”Even if Biden used all of the barrels in this stockpile in a single day, it would still be empty within six hours.

And of course, it’s not just diesel that’s running out. In the past month, jet fuel has increased by 23 percent. Kerosene, which if you don’t live in New York City, you know perfectly well, is used to heat people’s homes and keep them from dying, is now close to $7.00 a gallon. By the way, who heats with Kerosene? Poor people heat with kerosene, and they’re the ones who can’t get it. $7.00 per gallon

People in New England are concerned about the possibility of freezing death this winter. Here’s a local FOX report.

FOX 61 REPORTER Sharona lives on a fixed-income widow. According to her, before her husband died, she shared the expenses. She now has to make sacrifices.

What are your strategies for preparing, and what do you need to sacrifice?

RESNICK-KRAVITZ: Food. I go to the grocery store and I’m very frugal about what I buy.

FOX 61 REPORTER. She says that at $6.00 per gallon oil, purchasing it has become an enormous burden. Average homes use 800 gallons each year. That’s almost $5,000.00 at the current rate.

CARLSON: This shouldn’t be happening in this of all countries. The United States has some of the deepest — by some measures, the deepest — energy reserves on the planet. It’s our main strength. It is because we have cheap energy that this country has become a prosperous nation. That’s the reason. That’s why we’re exceptional, because we have cheap energy and this country was energy independent a few years ago.

You would be able to make the country more energy independent if you wanted to repair its economy. This would allow you to bring back affordable energy. It will be the fastest way to fix the economy. That’s the only thing that’ll fix the economy.

But the Biden administration, for whatever reason, has done the opposite — depleting our Strategic Petroleum Reserve, for example. The Biden administration just released 15 million more barrels yesterday.

Because they know that’s running out, the White House is also begging foreign governments for help in the most humiliating possible way. Biden went to Saudi Arabia and secretly asked for more oil. As “The New York Times” reported this week, Biden’s top aides, “Thought they had struck a secret deal to boost oil production through the end of the year.”

However, the Saudi Royal family decided to not go along. They’re not ramping up their oil production. They’re doing the opposite. Saudi’s Oil Minister is now telling the West to brace for energy shortages. This is what you should see.

CARLSON: So, an energy shortage is not really a debate over whether some dude should be on the girls’ swim team. This is serious stuff. These are adult things. People die. Economies collapse. Systemic poverty sets in. Not just in the poorest part of town. This is an actual thing.

It is children who run the government that’s the problem. They not only can’t admit what they’ve done wrong, they don’t even understand it. Here’s Karine Jean-Pierre, the glass ceiling shattering spokeswoman at the White House, addressing the question yesterday.

Every day, approximately 25 million school-age children travel to school in diesel-fueled buses. Hundreds of thousands of bus drivers drive those schoolbusses, and these schoolchildren, as well as the adults, inhale toxic air.

CARLSON: The lady who has never had children is now lecturing about having children. You are being lectured by someone who has never held a job. You are being lectured by the woman who said that masks could stop COVID, and about diesel fumes’ effects on your health.

It’s a joke. The truth is these people are bumping right smack up against reality and here’s the reality. Economic catastrophe can be avoided by taking action within 25 days. If we run out diesel fuel, catastrophe is what happens. That’s more important than prosecuting a jihad in Ukraine. It’s more important than World War Trans.

Everything depends on this, and we’ve got 25 days to fix it.
