In both cases, the loans, including interest, were forgiven.
Isn’t this interesting? A new report reveals that numerous wealthy celebrities’ companies took millions from the PPP and never paid it back.
Want to know why the deficit is so high? It’s because of this, baby.
At the height of the COVID panic, the government was shelling out big bucks to help businesses suddenly crippled by lockdowns.
But that money was supposed to help restaurants, hotels, and other groups that were suddenly shut down—with no way to pay their employees.
We’ve seen, though, time and again that large companies—run or partly owned by rich liberals—took out huge loans.
Did these companies really need these loans? It doesn’t seem likely. But even more outrageous is that the loans were “forgiven.”
Meaning, rich elitists like Paul Pelosi never paid back the millions his companies took from taxpayers.
So much for looking out for the little guy, huh Nancy?
The PPP cost us nearly 1 trillion dollars. It was supposed to help regular folks, who were being punished through no fault of their own.
Instead, this program became, yet again, another way for Democrats to enrich themselves and their buddies.
