Prisoner Confesses to Killing Two Child Molesters, Says He Did “Everyone a Favor”

Prisoner Confesses to Killing Two Child Molesters, Says He Did “Everyone a Favor”Posted: 22 Feb 2020 05:49 AM PSTA California inmate accused of beating two convicted child molesters to death with a cane last month has publicly admitted to the killings, explaining his motive behind the murders and claiming that he had given prison officials plenty of advance warning that the attacks would occur.Jonathan Watson, 41, confessed to murdering David Bobb, 48, and Graham DeLuis-Conti, 62, on January 16 at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison in the small Central Valley city of Corcoran in a letter to the Bay Area News Group. The initial spark for Watson’s fury was when the inmate saw one of the convicted sex offenders watching a children’s television show.Bobb died later that day while DeLuis-Conti died three days later. Both men had been serving life sentences for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14. Watson himself is serving a life sentence for a 2009 murder conviction. In his letter to the Bay Area News Group, Watson claims that prison authorities had changed his security classification days before the killings and transferred him to a lower-security dormitory pod at Corcoran—a switch he described as “careless” and likely to result in violence.Days after he arrived at the prison a child molester was moved into the same pod. The man later began taunting his fellow inmates by watching children’s programs on TV. Watson said in his letter that he was unable to sleep, “having not done what every instinct told me I should’ve done right then and there.”Two hours prior to the attack, Watson approached a prison counselor and urgently requested a transfer back to a higher-level security “before I really (expletive) one of these dudes up.” The counselor merely “scoffed and dismissed” him.Watson wrote:“I was mulling it all over when along came Molester #1 and he put his TV right on PBS Kids again … But this time, someone else said something to the effect of ‘Is this guy really going to watch this right in front of us?’ and I recall saying, ‘I got this.’ And I picked up the cane and went to work on him.”As Watson left the housing pod to turn himself in to a guard, he then saw “a known child trafficker, and I figured I’d just do everybody a favor … In for a penny, in for a pound.”When Watson finally told the guard about the killings, the guard didn’t believe him “until he looked around the corner and saw the mess I’d left in the dorm area,” he wrote.Joshua Mason, a formerly incarcerated Bay Area gang expert and legal consultant, told Mercury News:“This guy should have never been housed with those people and that’s common laymen knowledge. He told them, ‘I can’t be housed here,’ and that’s admirable. That’s a deviation from normal prison general population behavior… The culture is, if you’re uncomfortable, do something about it. The fact that he did seek out the administration shows he was just trying to do his time.”Watson is now in segregated housing pending the completion of an investigation of the killings. He plans to plead guilty to both killings when he has his day in court, but he also warned that he may kill again if he is housed with child molesters in the future.Watson said:“Being a lifer, I’m in a unique position where I sometimes have access to these people and I have so little to lose.He later added:“And trust me, we get it, these people are every parents’ worst nightmare. These familys (sic) spend years carefully and articulately planning how to give their children every opportunity that they never had, and one monster comes along and changes that child’s trajectory forever.”Republished from TheMindUnleashed.com under Creative CommonsThe post Prisoner Confesses to Killing Two Child Molesters, Says He Did “Everyone a Favor” appeared first on We Are Change.
“Jeffrey and I Had Everyone on Videotape” Ghislaine Maxwell Told FriendPosted: 21 Feb 2020 10:45 PM PSTJeffrey Epstein’s alleged ‘madam’ told a former acquaintance that she and the now-dead pedophile had “everything on videotape,” according to The Telegraph. The acquaintance, socialite and distant relative to the royals Christina Oxenberg, said that Maxwell also told her that Epstein bought a private helicopter because commercial pilots were “eyes and ears” he did not need. She revealed she had spoken to the FBI about what she had been told.Ms Oxenberg, 57, first met Maxwell in the early 1990s and said she would never forget a conversation the pair once had in Maxwell’s home.“We were alone,” she said. “She said many things. All creepy. Unorthodox. Strange. I could not believe whatever she was saying was real. Stuff like: ‘Jeffrey and I have everyone on videotape.’”…Maxwell has been accused by several alleged Epstein victims of both facilitating and participating in sexual crimes. She has vehemently denied the claims and has not been charged with any crimes in connection to Epstein’s activities. If true, we wonder who exactly was taped?Republished from ZeroHedge.com with permission The post “Jeffrey and I Had Everyone on Videotape” Ghislaine Maxwell Told Friend appeared first on We Are Change.
Iraq Closes Border With Iran Over Coronavirus FearsPosted: 21 Feb 2020 04:21 PM PSTIraq’s south-eastern province of Maysan decided to close its border with Iran yesterday over fears of the coronavirus spreading into the country. It was reported by local media in the province that the Ministry of Health decided to prevent the entrance of Iranian citizens into Iraq until further notice. The decision by the Maysan province, which is situated north of the port city of Basra and borders the Iranian province of Khuzestan, comes after news that two Iranians died as a result of the virus and three others have been infected by the disease in the country. As a result, the Al-Sheib border crossing was confirmed to be closed to all passengers and commerce yesterday. In the Shia holy city of Najaf, officials warned Iraqi citizens against travelling to the Iranian city of Qom, another Shia pilgrimage destination. The coronavirus, officially called COVID-19, has swept across numerous countries in the world and gave rise to increased fears of its impact since it was first identified in China’s Wuhan province earlier this year.According to China’s National Health Commission yesterday, 126,000 people in the country are currently under medical care on suspicions of having the virus, there are 11,864 cases which are confirmed to be infected, and the death toll there has risen to 2,120.Though the respiratory virus has not had much of a prominent presence in the Middle East as a whole, countries in the region have implemented a series of preventative measures in order to avoid infections taking root. The measures include the UAE ordering citizens not to touch noses in their traditional greetings, and Turkey’s manufacturing of a “fast-results” kit to test for the virus.Republished from MiddleEastMonitor.com under Creative CommonsThe post Iraq Closes Border With Iran Over Coronavirus Fears appeared first on We Are Change.
