The Book of Deuteronomy is one of the Old Testament books, yes. The OldTestament is called the Jewish Bible – they get a bit annoyed at Christians calling it “old” as if it’s outdated – or even better, the tanakh. The first four books, which includes Deuteronomy, are attributed to Moses.
