Mueller’s War on Lyndon LaRouche Can Finally Be Defeated
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—The Robert Mueller “legal assassin” operation to remove President Trump from office is crumbling. Mueller and his sponsors—especially the Obama-Hillary apparatus within the Democratic Party and their cheerleaders in the nation’s press corps—are panicked. Mueller is throwing several members of his team to the wolves, while he tries to salvage the illegal witch hunt before he and his team face criminal charges for their treasonous actions.
Monday, Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, one of the central actors in the coup attempt, discovered a “routine scheduling error” and postponed his scheduled testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, which is closing in on the truth behind the British intelligence dossier of lies about Trump and Russia. That “dodgy dossier” was prepared by MI6 agent Christopher Steele and paid for by Fusion GPS, which in turn was paid by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party (and perhaps even by the FBI itself). It is certain McCabe was terrified by the revelation Monday night that the wife of Bruce Ohr (recently dismissed as Associate Deputy Attorney General at the Justice Department when it was revealed he met with Steele and with the head of Fusion GPS, without informing his associates) had herself worked for Fusion GPS! As is becoming clear, the entire, rotten operation is a British intelligence effort to destroy the United States.
The impact of the EIR report exposing Mueller’s coup attempt against President Trump can not be overly emphasized. About to be released this week in a second run of 10,000, the report uniquely documents the British roots of the regime change operation against the United States, which can no longer be covered up by fake news. More important, it shows that Mueller cut his teeth as the head of the “Get LaRouche Task Force” which put Lyndon LaRouche in prison in 1989. This is the profound truth behind the Mueller campaign today—he is still at war with LaRouche, and with the ideas LaRouche introduced to America and the human race. The era of Empire is coming to an end, if the American people rise to the occasion.
LaRouche’s fundamental discovery regarded the coherence of the human creative process, be it in scientific discovery or in classical artistic composition, with the neg-entropic lawfulness of the universe. Over these past 50 years, Lyndon LaRouche forecast the systemic collapse of the Western financial system, step by step, as speculation replaced investment into the real economy, and the American System of federal credit was replaced by British monetarism. He proposed a new International Development Bank to extend credit for basic infrastructure, to facilitate industrialization in the so-called “Third World.” He designed programs for the transformation of Africa, Ibero-America, and the Asia-Pacific. He called for the necessary massive expansion of the space program and fusion power research. After the fall of the Soviet Union, he and his wife Helga Zepp-LaRouche proposed a New Silk Road, to unite Europe, Russia, China and India, in a global development mode, uplifting the world from poverty and war.
In other words, he prescribed a program for the world which is now being introduced as the Belt and Road Initiative by China’s President Xi Jinping. This is no coincidence.
President Trump is certainly not the genius found in Lyndon LaRouche. But he has tapped into the long waves of history set loose by LaRouche’s ideas. He has linked America’s future with China and with Russia; he has essentially dismissed party politics, rejecting the regime-changers and war-mongers on both sides of the aisle; he has demanded the re-industrialization of the nation; he has called for the return of the manned space program; he has mandated a war on drugs. For these and more reasons, the London and Wall Street purveyors of Empire, who run after money in the here and now, see the specter of LaRouche’s ideas coming to the fore, both internationally with the New Silk Road, and in America—especially since Trump’s embrace of Xi Jinping’s policies during his China visit last month.
The biggest crime in the Mueller persecution of LaRouche in the 1980s was that of depriving of the American people of these ideas. As a result, the population became inundated with existentialist perversity, hedonism, drugs, anti-science hysteria, and economic decay. If America is to succeed in preventing the onset of a new Dark Age, and bring about a new global Renaissance of Mankind, in league with nations around the world through the New Silk Road, they must finally come to terms with the oligarchs’ fear and hatred of Lyndon LaRouche, and begin to master his method of scientific thinking. With their future stolen from them, people are now searching for those ideas. This is the new paradigm, which, despite the extreme danger of the moment, is within our grasp.
U.S. POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC
On the Track of McCabe, the Ohrs, and Christopher Steele
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—The Department of Justice postponed FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s testimony today before a closed-door session of the House Intelligence Committee, solely due to a “routine scheduling error,” an unnamed DOJ official assured Fox News. The official swore that McCabe will of course appear before the committee soon, before the Christmas recess.
Intelligence Committee sources told Fox News they have a hunch the suddenly-discovered “routine scheduling error” arose after Fox News’ Monday night report that Nellie Ohr, wife of former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr, had worked for Fusion GPS during the 2016 presidential election, when that company was working on British MI6 agent Christopher Steele’s disgusting anti-Trump dossier which is at the center of Russiagate.
Ohr was already a hot potato, having been ousted as Associate Deputy Attorney General last week right before it was revealed that he had met secretly in 2016 with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson, and with Steele himself. Now his wife Nellie Ohr is also under scrutiny. Thus far, she has been identified as a Russia expert from her published writings, and was found to have participated in a June 2010 DOJ “Expert Working Group Report on International Organized Crime” as a representative of the CIA’s “Open Source Works” agency.
Assume that this is just the beginning. Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes had announced Dec. 7 that the committee would subpoena Bruce Ohr to testify before the committee, noting that “pursuant to the House Intelligence Committee’s prior subpoenas and information requests, the Department of Justice should have provided the committee with information on contacts that DOJ official Bruce Ohr had with Fusion GPS representatives and Christopher Steele.” Representative Nunes told Fox News last night that the Committee “is looking into all facets of the connections between the Department of Justice and Fusion GPS.”
Questions should also be asked about Ohr’s role as director of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF), which post he has held since November 2014, and continues to hold today. Should this political hitman, deployed as a leading figure within British intelligence’s operation first to rig the U.S. Presidential election and then to overthrow the elected President, continue to be responsible for fighting the narcotics epidemic which is killing Americans, and which only grew under his watch?
Tillerson: ‘We Are Ready To Talk to North Korea without Preconditions’
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—Speaking in Washington today at a 2017 Atlantic Council-Korea Foundation Forum meeting, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said: “We are ready to talk any time North Korea would like to talk. And we are ready to have a first meeting without preconditions. Let’s just meet. And then we can begin to lay out a road map of what we might be willing to work towards.”
This opening comes at a moment of intense behind the scenes diplomacy by all actors in the North Korea crisis. A Korean source told EIR that the Korean press is reporting a meeting between North and South Korea high-level representatives in China in the past days, although there appears to be no English-language reporting of such a meeting. Both Chinese and Russian delegations visited Pyongyang in the past weeks, and UN Undersecretary of the United Nations Jeffrey Feltman (a former U.S. State Department official) spent four days in North Korea over the weekend.
“We need D.P.R.K. to come to the table for talks. We are ready to talk any time they’d like to talk,” Tillerson said, according to Sputnik. “But they have to come to the table with the view that they do want to make a different choice. Let’s just meet and let’s talk about the weather if you want. We can talk about whether it’s going to be a square table or a round table. Then we can begin to lay out a map, a road map, of what we might be willing to work towards,” Tillerson said, suggesting that initial contacts could revolve around establishing ground rules for any formal negotiations.
He continued: “It’s going to be tough to talk if in the middle of our talks you decide to test another device. I think they clearly understand that if we are going to talk, we have to have a period of quiet.”
Meanwhile, Joseph Yun, President Trump’s representative for North Korea policy, speaking to foreign correspondents on Dec. 7 in Washington, said that Washington could attempt dialogue if 60 days pass without nuclear and missile provocations after a message from Pyongyang that it intends to stop. The “60 day” policy was proposed earlier by Tillerson, but when North Korea went beyond 60 days over the past months, the U.S. continued massive military exercises, and North Korea finally tested a missile. Yun says, however, that the 60-day plan is still valid.
Declassified Documents Further Prove the West Promised Russia Not To Move NATO Eastward
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—A series of declassified documents were posted by George Washington University’s National Security Archive on Tuesday (“NATO Expansion: What Gorbachev Heard”). According to the release summarizing the documents, “U.S. Secretary of State James Baker’s famous ‘not one inch eastward’ assurance about NATO expansion in his meeting with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on February 9, 1990, was part of a cascade of assurances about Soviet security given by Western leaders to Gorbachev and other Soviet officials throughout the process of German unification in 1990 and on into 1991.”
Sputnik reports that it includes a cable from the U.S. Embassy in Bonn informing Washington that German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher had urged NATO to rule out an “expansion of its territory towards the east, i.e. moving it closer to the Soviet borders,” and that Genscher also proposed excluding East Germany from NATO’s security umbrella after German reunification.
Make an Example of Mueller’s Corrupt Investigation: ‘Take Them Out In Handcuffs’
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—Former prosecutor and judge Jeanine Pirro’s call on her Fox News “Justice” show last Saturday night for Robert Mueller, et al. to be “locked up” has the establishment worried. Media such as Newsweek choked that Pirro, a “sometimes confidante of the President,” opened her program declaring:
“There is a cleansing needed in our FBI and our Department of Justice. It needs to be cleansed of individuals who should not just be fired, but who need to be taken out in handcuffs. There have been times in our history when corruptions and lawlessness were so pervasive that examples had to be made. This is one of those times.”
Pirro then proceeded, one by one, to call for “handcuffs for Andrew McCabe,” for Peter Strzok, for Bruce Ohr, for James “The Cardinal” Comey, and the Special Prosecutor himself, Robert Mueller, explaining why for each. Along the way, she commented that the FBI and Mueller’s team are “almost one and the same thing at this point.”
“I, for one, am tired of investigations, politicians posturing. Something more has to be done. The stench coming out of the DOJ and FBI is like that of a Third World country where money and boys and clubs decide elections. It’s time to take them out, in cuffs,” she concluded.
The video of the show has over a million views so far. Imagine what even more serious political damage would have been inflicted on the nation’s enemies, had she named the glaring British Empire hand directing these crimes, and the strategic change which that Empire fears.
Nonetheless, Watergate’s “Pulitzer Prize winner” Carl Bernstein was pulled out of his closet on Monday on CNN to threaten that Fox News is engaged in abetting a White House cover-up of Russian ties, and thus guilty of obstruction of justice. Why? Because it is making the conduct of everyone, including Mueller, the issue, instead of the President of the United States! “We don’t know what the cover-up is about, whether it constitutes an obstruction of justice or a criminal conspiracy at this point,” mind you, but “the commentators that you are hearing and showing … seem to be oblivious to the serial lying of the President of the United States and members of his family and staff—they are abetting a cover-up,” this jackass asserted.
STRATEGIC WAR DANGER
Russian Military Success in Syria Causes Surprise To the West
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—In a commentary in Defense News, Ruslan Pukhov, the director of the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies in Moscow, reports that the success of the Russian campaign in Syria has taken many by surprise. “Two years on, it is safe to say that Syria has not become a repeat of the Soviet Union’s failed campaign in Afghanistan,” Pukhov reports. “The Russian intervention has all but achieved all of its key goals,” among these the stabilization of the Assad government and the nearly complete extinction of the Islamic State caliphate.
“The greatest surprise is not the success of Russia’s intervention in Syria but the very limited forces and assets that have proved sufficient to achieve that victory,” Pukhov notes. “The Russian expeditionary force has remained very small throughout the entire campaign—a few thousand men at the very most, including military police and personnel operated by private military campaigns.” The air group itself varied in size from 30-50 fixed wing aircraft and 16-40 helicopters. At the same time, “The number of sorties per aircraft, however, has been impressively high,” indicating, among other things, the high reliability of Russian aircraft, though Pukhov doesn’t specifically say so. By late August 2017, Russian aircraft had flown a total of 28,000 sorties against some 90,000 targets with the loss of one aircraft (the Su-24M shot down by the Turkish F-16’s in November 2015). “The success and affordability of the Russian military intervention in Syria contrast sharply with the U.S. record in many parts of the globe,” Pukhov reports.
The success of the Russian campaign has not been well received at the Pentagon, however. “The West tends to ignore the success of the Russian military intervention in Syria, and pays little attention to the various aspects of Russian military activity in that country,” Pukhov writes. “Clearly, this is not a pleasant topic for the Western political and military observers whose predictions that Putin would get bogged down in Syria have proved wrong.” Pukhov also writes that many senior Russian commanders have gained combat experience in Syria down to the level of brigade and regiments. “The availability of these experienced commanders, a record of a successful and victorious military campaign, and the lessons learned from using air power, modern technology and special operations forces will provide a major boost to the Russian military machine for years to come,” Pukhov concludes.
Nicholas J. Myers, a Russian and Belarusian military analyst at the Jamestown Foundation, noted in a Dec. 10 article in The National Interest that commanders with combat experience in Syria are being rapidly promoted up the ranks, including to command of four of the five military districts in Russia. “Regardless of what happens next in Syria, Russia clearly believes that the results of its military operations there merit top promotions,” Myers reports.
Global Times Lead Editorial: German Intelligence Accuses Chinese Academics as Spies
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—Global Times Monday published an editorial titled “China Spy Threat Theory Undermines Ties,” referring to a report released Sunday by the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz or BfV), Germany’s domestic intelligence service. The report, according to BBC, claimed that China is using fake LinkedIn profiles to gather information on German officials and politicians, “possibly to recruit them as informants.”
“This is a broad-based attempt to infiltrate in particular parliaments, ministries and government agencies,” said BfV President Hans-Georg Maaßen.
Global Times responded that the BfV “has shifted its focus to China in recent years and made a series of rude accusations.” The daily continues that this activity “undermines the climate for China’s exchanges and cooperation,” pointing to the expanding economic trade and cooperation between the countries.
Global Times writes: “The most indisputable case of illegal intelligence collection up till now is the U.S. PRISM surveillance program, to which German Chancellor Angela Merkel and China have fallen victim,” but “China has exercised much restraint and rarely made allegations against the West in a bid not to disrupt the diplomatic landscape.” And, they say, when China does expose a spy, it is “labeled a violation of human rights or repression of freedom of speech.”
The editorial concludes: “China-Germany relations have gone forward smoothly in recent years, but some Germans and institutions always want to imperil ties for private ends, as the BfV has done.”
COLLAPSING WESTERN FINANCIAL SYSTEM
DOE’s Perry Sends a Stern Warning to Federal Energy Regulatory Committee
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—Energy Secretary Rick Perry has sent a stern warning to the Federal Energy Regulatory Committee in a letter to Kevin McIntyre, the new chairman of FERC, demanding “urgent action” to reform federal rules governing the transmission of electricity across large swaths of the Midwest and East. “I urge the Commission to act expeditiously,” Perry wrote, Energywire reported on Dec. 11. Perry also set a deadline for FERC of Jan. 10.
Perry had earlier directed FERC to consider compensating coal and nuclear power plants operating in regional markets by providing a guaranteed cost-recovery mechanism. The Energy Secretary argued that because those big, centralized plants stockpile coal and nuclear fuel, they improve the electric grid’s resilience during natural disasters or emergencies.
Perry had asked in September that FERC act on his suggested notice of proposed rulemaking by Dec. 10, and McIntyre’s predecessor, Neil Chatterjee, had pledged that FERC would do so. But just hours after taking his oath of office on Dec. 7, McIntyre reneged and did not meet the deadline. During the next 30 days, Perry said he would examine all of his legal options for taking “remedial action as necessary to ensure the security of the nation’s electric grid,” Energywire reported.
THE NEW GLOBAL ECONOMIC ORDER
UN Development Program, China Development Bank Issue Report on Belt and Road Economic Growth
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—A 230-page report on “Economic Development Along the Belt and Road 2017” was released yesterday at the China Development Bank (CDB) headquarters in Beijing, as “an overview of the economic situations along the Belt and Road and the initiative’s growth prospects, opportunities and challenges.” Research for the report was a joint project of the CDB, the UN Development Program (UNDP), and Peking University’s School of Economics, growing out of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between China and the UNDP in September 2016 to work together on the Belt and Road Initiative.
EIR has not reviewed the report yet, but it sets as its task to investigate “the economic structures of the countries and regions along the Belt and Road and the potential for their cooperation in areas such as production capacity, financing, and human capital development … inspired by a vision of creating prosperous regions where physical, economic and financial integrations go beyond borders and facilitate the movement of people, goods, services, capital, knowledge and ideas,” the foreword to the report explains.
From the foreword, it is notable that although the term “sustainable development” shapes the report, it is not used to signify the no-growth, anti-human economic policy for which it stands in the West, but the concept of full poverty reduction, industrialization and development of productivity which has shaped the Chinese economic miracle.
The press release announcing the report puts it this way:
“China’s experience in economic development provides a useful avenue to explore the possibilities of industrial diversification in economies along the Belt and Road Initiative….
“The assumption the report explores is that the aggregate economy of the countries and regions along the Belt and Road can promote global economic growth. Therefore, the initiative can give the opportunity for participating countries to get higher gains from trade and investment, entering foreign markets, diversify their exports, and most importantly to get skills, knowledge and technology—all considered as key factors for productivity enhancement and growth….
“The report discusses the social outlook of the BRI through studies on socio-economic development, population, education, social protection and labor in countries along the Belt and Road, and concludes that combining the BRI to the provision of global public goods can produce cross-regional benefits and improve the well-being of future generations, including those not directly involved in the initiative.”
Cooperation in Reconstructing Syria Is Crucial for Peace, Urges Sichuan Professor
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—“Proactive International Efforts Required for Sustainable Syria Solution,” writes Li Hao, an associate professor of the School of International Studies, Sichuan University, in today’s Global Times. After reviewing the ups and downs of the war in Syria, he concludes:
“Postwar reconstruction will not only help break the current deadlock in political negotiations, but also serve as the foundation for lasting peace in Syria. Russia and Turkey are not capable enough of promoting large-scale reconstruction in Syria. The U.S., in the meantime, applies harsh political conditions on its economic aid. For instance, it refuses to provide assistance to the country when Assad is still in office. This unyielding attitude has increased the complexity of political reconciliation.
“China, on the other hand, has been proactively promoting a political solution for the Syrian crisis. It has been maintaining good and stable interactions with all parties involved. Beijing can both participate in the UN-led humanitarian assistance toward the country and also help reconstruct Syria through its Belt and Road Initiative.”
SCIENCE AND INFRASTRUCTURE
No Surprise—National Geographic Peddles Fake Polar Bear Tear-Jerker to 1.4 Million Victims
Dec. 12 (EIRNS)—The video of an emaciated, dying polar bear went viral last week with a note from National Geographic photojournalist and fellow Paul Nicklen that, after crying about it, he decided not to feed the bear because he wanted people to see its misery. “If the Earth continues to warm,” he wrote, “we will lose bears and entire polar eco systems.” He argued, “We must reduce our carbon footprint.”
However, a Nunavut polar bear monitor, Leo Ikakhik, in the same region of northern Canada, told RT that if they had simply looked around, they would have seen plenty of healthy bears in the region, and no shortage of food. He explained that bears sometimes get sick or injured and die—“Mother Nature” does that, he said.
