The new treatment, which is available on the NHS, halts the onset of adulthood and is being marketing by Big Pharma at youngsters who believe they are trapped in ‘the wrong body’. The powerful hormone, which is injected every month, stops any development of sex organs such as breast or body hair, which paves the way for doctors to ‘swap sex’ in surgery later. It has now been revealed more than 600 children are now undergoing to controversial treatment at the Gender Identity Development Service clinic at University College Hospital in London.  |
