In the pro-life movement it’s not every day we get to experience a monumental victory. And it’s certainly not every week we get to enjoy two victories back-to-back.
But that’s what happened last week when the Senate confirmed Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court to replace the late great pro-life Justice Antonin Scalia.
And if that wasn’t enough good news for the week leading up to the celebration of Easter, the pro-life movement received another huge Victory when President Donald Trump signed into law legislation that would allow states to defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
President Barack Obama gave the nation’s biggest abortion company a parting gift that was a whole lot more than a box of Rice-A-Roni. Obama put the handcuffs on state officials who wanted to make sure taxpayers in their states we’re not on the hook for funding Planned Parenthood and it’s abortion agenda.
The good news is that now states can resume their efforts to get out of the abortion business.
