Will We Have A New Mobilization of Our Economy – Like the War Mobilization, But This Time on Behalf of Development?
Yesterday. President Trump visited the famous Willow Run auto plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan calling for a new industrial mobilization for the United States. Referring to the Arsenal of Democracy, the productive retooling of Detroit responsible for equipping the allied troops in World War II, he said:
“Seventy-five years ago, during the Second World War, thousands of American workers filled this very building to build the great new airplanes, the B-24 Liberators. At peak production –listen to this, it’s not the country we’ve been watching for the last 20 years—they were building one B-24 every single hour. We don’t hear that. We don’t hear that anymore, do we? We’ll be back soon.”
In this week’s Fireside Chat, Bill Roberts and Dennis Speed will discuss why LaRouche PAC’s new pamphlet, “LaRouche’s Four Laws and America’s Future on the New Silk Road” is the only scientifically grounded basis for organizing such a mobilization and economic recovery.
