#BREAKING: Sheriff Joe Arpaio To Hold Press Conference On Obama’s Birth Certificate
Posted: 14 Dec 2016 11:28 AM PST (Phoenix, Arizona) – Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is scheduled to hold a press conference today, December 15th at 4pm MST at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Training Center. Arpaio says he will provide an update and a final conclusion to the Barack Obama Birth Certificate investigation that has been ongoing for years.
The event is closed to the main stream media and will only be streamed live on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. Arpaio will be releasing 3 years of analysis of the alleged fake document.
On March 1, 2012, Arpaio and members of the Cold Case Posse investigation held a news conference announcing their findings that President Barack Obama’s long-form birth certificate, released by the White House on April 27, 2011, is a computer-generated forgery. Additionally, other investigators have said the electronic PDF document released by the White House clearly shows evidence of ‘kerning’ – where parts of letters overlap each other for a pleasing visual effect – this is produced by modern computers and was not possible on 1960’s typewriters. Just last week documentary film maker Joel Gilbert further released proof that indeed it was a forgery on infowars releasing two other birth certificates from the same time period at the same hospital in which they show that the term “African American” used on Barack Obama’s birth certificate wasn’t used during that time in history and instead the terms – Colored or Negroes were most commonly used on Black Americans birth certificates. What will Sheriff Joe Arpaio say today? Will it be the starting of a Watergate type scenario as Jerome Corsi has said? We will keep you up to date as information develops.

Charles C. Johnson Had A Story About Gay DC Pedophile Ring In 2012
Posted: 14 Dec 2016 10:27 AM PST Charles C. Johnson who runs www.gotnews.com, has gone public on Facebook that he had a story involving the chief of staff of a powerful Republican involved in a gay pedophile ring in DC however, he didn’t publish it as he thought it seemed far fetched. It recently came to light that Ryan Loskarn, who was arrested for possession of child pornography, committed suicide and in his suicide note, admitted to being abused as a child. Charles has said that this is whom his source was talking about.
Former Republican chief of staff Jesse Ryan Loskarn, had been arrested for possession of child pornography and had committed suicide last week. However, before taking his own life – whether he took his own life or he was taken care of is debateable. As ex CIA director William Colby told John Decamp, “if it’s done good enough you can’t prove it was a murder or track the perpetrators who did it” The note in which Loskarn claimed that he was sexually abused as a child was posted online by his family members. “I found myself drawn to videos that matched my own childhood abuse,” the note said, on JesseRyanLoskarnsLastMessage.com. “I pictured myself as a child in the image or video. The more an image mirrored some element of my memories and took me back, the more I felt a connection.” Loskarn which he admitted in his suicide note that what he revealed is his “deepest, darkest secret.”
Loskarn continues, “In my mind I instigated and enjoyed the abuse – even as a five and nine year old – no matter the age difference. Discussing what had happened would have meant shame and blame.” The odd thing about this note is that, toward the end, it says: “as I begin the process of trying to sort this out and fix myself” and in the end he begins apologizing ending with: “and last, to the children in the images: I should have known better. I perpetuated your abuse and that will be a burden on my soul for the rest of my life.” It appears throughout the note that Loskarn was caught up in a struggle as to whether to end his life or not. He either eventually decided to take his life or was killed, like many before him, to keep this dirty dark secret of others secret. It should be noted that Charles C. Johnson is on the record on Facebook as saying that in 2012 he had a story that involved a gay pedophile ring that Loskarn was allegedly part of. You can read the full suicide note below.

Warning: Your Children’s Toys Are Spying On Your Family
Posted: 14 Dec 2016 08:16 AM PST Source: RTAmerica A toy advocacy group has filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission alleging that two new toys on the market may be spying and collecting data on families. The “I-Que Robot” and “My Friend Cayla” dolls come with listening and recording capabilities and even prompt children to answer personal questions about their family. RT America’s Ashlee Banks has the report. Over the past year, companies have been teasing the various connected must-haves for the holidays: bots that can respond to kids’ questions and movements, and capture audio and video; an imitation smartwatch that chats with other devices over Bluetooth; not to mention the Barbie Hello Dreamhouse, a pink-and-white smart house for the iconic doll. Not everyone is excited about the intelligence creeping into kids’ toys. Privacy activists and developmental psychologists have objected on grounds ranging from security and privacy to fundamental worries about the nature of play. So should you be crossing these gadgets off your list? Or is this just a new variation on a familiar old song? As it happens, Barbie was at the center of the last big smart toy brouhaha. Hello Barbie, perhaps 2015’s most controversial toy, could hold court on a wide range of topics – from fashion and family to dreams and paddle-boarding. “Did you know that butterflies live everywhere in the world except Antarctica?” she might say, before confessing in a less guarded moment to “daydreaming about cupcakes”. The research claims that one in 10 British households (2.6 million) could be spied on through a webcam. Two thirds (71%) want police to do more to tackle such crime, which sees hackers control baby monitors and transmit scary noises through them simply for malicious ends. Kiddie talk sharedBut the problem wasn’t her words, but that kids could talk to her by holding down her belt buckle. Every word Barbie’s microphone picked up was transmitted to a Mattel-owned server farm for analysis by speech recognition algorithms, to settle on a suitable reply. Soon, details emerged about how those recordings were stored and some of the “third parties” they were being shared with. Backlash ensued. The Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood, a non-profit in Boston, launched the social media campaign #HellNoBarbie, urging parents not to buy the doll. “We were immediately concerned about the idea of a doll that was recording and capturing children’s conversations,” says Josh Golin, CCFC’s executive director. “It just struck us as such an invasion of children’s privacy.” There’s nothing illegal about how Hello Barbies work, but you can adhere to every US law and still violate a kid’s privacy. That’s because they won’t have the experience to understand that a toy can’t keep secrets, and that whatever they tell it is accessible to an unseen team of engineers – or their parents. Or hackers. Toys aren’t fundamentally different to any other connected device – at least not to their prying fingers. Last year, Hong Kong toy-maker VTech leaked not only the usernames and passwords of its 6.4 million young users, but also photos, download histories and chat logs. Baby monitors have been hacked, too, allowing strangers to peer in at children in their beds and even talk to them. But not everyone shares the privacy concerns. “[Hello Barbie] is just as risky as Siri and I’ve told Siri some pretty odd things,” wrote an unrepentant 5-star reviewer. After all, in a home full of connected devices, where do you draw the line? Maybe Hello Barbie is verboten, but will you let your kid talk to Siri, or Alexa, or any of the other new digital assistants? Those pose many of the same problems as Barbie, and maybe even a few extra ones. San Francisco parent Hunter Walk, for example, expressed worries that the Amazon Echo was teaching his daughter bad manners, because she didn’t have to say “please” to get Alexa to do what she wanted. A question of imaginationSo why do toys need to be so smart? For all the privacy invasion these chatting skills necessitate, Hello Barbie may not even be a particularly good toy. “I think there’s this idea that, in order to compete with screens, toys have to be more and more like screens,” Golin says. “But actually, given how much time they have with screens, I think what children need are toys that are less and less like screens.” He argues that the best toys are “90 per cent kid, 10 per cent toy,” with play fuelled largely by the child’s imagination. That’s in line with what research has been telling us for decades about the evolutionary and cognitive purposes of play. Pretend play, in particular, is how kids learn complicated skills like divergent thinking, the use of symbols, even self-regulation. Toys can be part of that. But with products like Hello Barbie, kids end up providing rote answers to preprogrammed questions, rather than imagining who the doll is and what she might chat about. “Play ends up being completely driven by the script in the algorithm,” Golin says. But maybe smart toys offer a different kind of educational opportunity: they could start teaching kids the digital literacy skills needed in a “smart” world. Meg Leta Jones, a professor of communication, culture and technology at Georgetown University in Washington DC, doesn’t necessarily buy it. “Being smart about the way we use technology is really challenging for adults,” she says. “The idea that we would expect this from a child is obviously absurd.” Instead, as smart objects become more common, Jones would like to see us find a way to automatically signal our privacy preferences. That way, you’d never have to wonder if there’s a device quietly recording you, be it a drone overhead or a nephew’s teddy bear. We’re still just figuring out what it will mean to grow up immersed in smart technology. The side effects may be subtle, as in the viral video of a toddler, raised on iPads, stubbornly trying to swipe the dead-tree pages of a magazine. And let’s not forget that adults have been whipping up moral panics about the degeneration of toys since the first child picked up a rock instead of the traditional stick. While we figure it all out, my advice is to buy your kid a different kind of smart toy this Christmas – maybe one of the many robots that can teach even the youngest kids to code. Perhaps this will let your kid engage in the hacking equivalent of a time-honoured ritual of Barbie owners around the world: ripping her head off. BREAKING: Admiral Says U.S. ‘Ready to Confront’ Beijing in South China Sea
Posted: 14 Dec 2016 02:59 AM PST By Caleb Stephen, Australia and Asia-Pacific Reporter SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (WeAreChange) — A United States Admiral has declared his country is “ready to confront” Beijing in the South China Sea over ongoing disputed island claims that threaten to escalate tensions between the two global rivals. China claims most of the resource-rich South China Sea through which about $5 trillion in ship-borne trade passes every year. Neighbours Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam also have claims in the vast expanse of ocean. Earlier this year, the U.S. called upon China to respect the findings of an arbitration court in The Hague which invalidated its vast territorial claims in the strategic waterway. But Beijing continues to act in an “aggressive” manner, to which the United States stands ready to respond, Admiral Harry Harris, head of the U.S. Pacific Command, said in a speech in Sydney on Wednesday. “We will not allow a shared domain to be closed down unilaterally no matter how many bases are built on artificial features in the South China Sea,” he said. “We will cooperate when we can but we will be ready to confront when we must.” Harris’ comments further exacerbate the already tense situation between Beijing and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump who broke diplomatic protocol by accepting a telephone call from Taiwan’s president on Dec. 2 – a move that prompted a diplomatic protest from Beijing. The United States estimates Beijing has added more than 3,200 acres (1,300 hectares) of land through dredging operations in the South China Sea over the past three years, building runways, ports, aircraft hangars and communications infrastructure. In response, the United States has conducted a series of freedom-of-navigation operations in the disputed waters, the latest of which occurred in October. The patrols have continually infuriated Beijing, with one senior Chinese official in July warning the practice may end in “disaster”. Harris said the United States would continue with its practice of patrolling the waters but said it was a decision for its ally, the Australian government, as to whether they should undertake their own freedom-of-navigation operations. “The U.S. fought its first war following our independence to ensure freedom of navigation,” said Harris. “This is an enduring principle and one of the reasons our forces stand ready to fight tonight.” The post BREAKING: Admiral Says U.S. ‘Ready to Confront’ Beijing in South China Sea appeared first on We Are Change. |
The IRS can now revoke your passport if you owe back taxes
Posted: 14 Dec 2016 02:17 AM PST IRS Power To Revoke Passports Signed Into LawVia. Forbes Reader Robert Woods The passport provision is now official, as President Obama signed the 5-year infrastructure spending Bill. It adds a new section 7345 to the Internal Revenue Code. It is part of H.R. 22 – Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act, the “FAST Act.” Why are passport covered in the tax code, you might ask? The title of the new section is “Revocation or Denial of Passport in Case of Certain Tax Delinquencies.” The idea goes back to 2012, when the Government Accountability Office reported on the potential for using the issuance of passports to collect taxes. It was controversial then, but this time sailed through, slipped into the massive highway funding bill, passed here. The section on passports begins on page 1,113. The joint explanatory statement is here, beginning on page 38. The law says the State Department can revoke, deny or limit passports for anyone the IRS certifies as having a seriously delinquent tax debt in an amount in excess of $50,000. Administrative details are scant. It could mean no new passport and no renewal. It could even mean the State Department will rescind existing passports. The State Department will evidently act when the IRS tells them, and that upsets some people. We think of passports when traveling internationally, but some people may find that passports are required for domestic travel in 2016. That could make the IRS hold even more serious. The list of affected taxpayers will be compiled by the IRS. The IRS will use a threshold of $50,000 of unpaid federal taxes. But this $50,000 figure includes penalties and interest. And as everyone knows, interest and penalties can add up fast. Notably, if you are contesting a proposed tax bill administratively with the IRS or in court, that should not count. That is not yet a tax debt. There is also an administrative exception, allowing the State Department to issue a passport in an emergency or for humanitarian reasons. But how that will work isn’t clear, nor is the amount of time it will take to get special dispensation. You would still be able to travel if your tax debt is being paid in a timely manner, as under a signed installment agreement. The rules are not limited to criminal tax cases or where the government thinks you are fleeing a tax debt.
In fact, you could have your passport revoked merely because you owe more than $50,000 and the IRS has filed a notice of lien. A $50,000 tax debt including interest and penalties is common, and the IRS files tax liens routinely. It’s the IRS way of putting creditors on notice. The IRS can file a Notice of Federal Tax Lien after the IRS assesses the liability, sends a Notice and Demand for Payment, and you fail to pay in full within 10 days. What can be done?Via. Flagtheory.com Intel Society If it’s not clear already, it is now an absolute necessity for Americans abroad to obtain a legitimate second passport — by any means necessary. As is typical of their kind, politicians stuffed and pork-barreled the amendment into a boring and largely ignored bill, 52102(d) of the Transportation Funding Act of 2015. (The full text can be found at bottom of article.) This change officially turns you, Mr. Expat, into a global tax slave for the US. The US is one of only two countries in the world that taxes its citizens on their worldwide income (as opposed to residency). This is essentially taxation without representation, as expats don’t live in any state in the US, and senators and state representatives represent states. So expats typically have voting rights in the state that they previously resided. A friend of mine, who is a fellow expat and international tax attorney specializing in US expat tax issues, suggests solving this issue by setting up residency in Florida. Not only is it very easy to get a driver’s license there, but there is also no state tax, and Florida has the most international city in the US — Miami. The only way to address the new ruling is to obtain a second passport. Now more than ever, there is a clear and obvious reason to obtain one. If you don’t have a second passport, you will have no right to an appeal, to speak with an attorney, to plead your case to a judge in your country, or any way to prevent being sent back to the US to face the IRS. Without valid travel document, you are in legal limbo and have no recourse or rights. You see, the IRS will revoke your passport while you are in transit. The agency knows when you are flying from one country to another, and will, with just a few keystrokes, revoke your passport while you are in the air. When you land and attempt to enter your destination country, you will find your passport invalid. The airline that you traveled with is now required to return you to the country that issued your passport. You have no right to an attorney, no right to enter the country to fight the claim of a certified debt, and no right to an appeal. You will be held in the transit area under guard until you are put on the next flight to the US. Think of Tom Hanks’ character in movie The Terminal, or Edward Snowden. Unless Mr. Putin comes to your rescue, you are headed back to the States. Being denied admission to a country is not the same as being extradited. Once you are in a country, you have all the rights conveyed by its legal system and courts. When you’re in transit, you have no rights — you are at the mercy of the country whose passport you hold. If you don’t have a valid travel document, your only choice is to return to your home country. There are many different ways to obtain a second passport: 1. By heritage. If your parents or grandparents were born outside of the US, you may be eligible for citizenship from their original country. If you would like us to review your heritage options, please email us at support@passports.io. 2. By marriage. Most countries grant residency and then citizenship to the spouse of a citizen, though normally only after a period of residency. 3. By investment or cash payment. You can make an investment and/or pay cash to get a second passport immediately. If you have the money to spend and invest, you have many options. Every citizenship-by-investment option globally is listed at Passports.IO. 4. Earn citizenship through residency. In some countries, you can become a resident, contribute to their economy and culture, and earn the right to apply for citizenship after a few years. We also include many different residency-to-citizenship options at Passports.IO. Residency is a Great First StepAs a resident you have more rights to contest an attack by the IRS. A tourist has little or no standing, while a resident is given status by the fact that he or she is a lawful member of the community. A resident may also stay in a country for as long as he wishes. A tourist must usually travel outside the country every four or six months, putting him at risk with each and every trip. Also, if you’re caught overstaying your tourist visa, you can be removed from the country — something that commonly happens with tourists in many different parts of the world. Most importantly, some forms of residency lead to citizenship after a few years. For example, if you have been a resident of Panama for four years, you can apply for citizenship, and with citizenship comes a passport. A Panama passport is an excellent travel document, so I recommend that program for anyone who wants to “earn” citizenship over a number of years rather than purchase it. Paraguay, Uruguay are similar options in South America. Whatever the country, it’s clear and obvious that if you don’t already have a second passport – now is the time to start taking action in this direction. ‘DeploraBall’ Sells Out in 24 Hours, Clinton Supporters Get Venue to Back Out
Posted: 13 Dec 2016 06:49 PM PST Tickets for the inaugural DeploraBall sold out in 24 hours, but the venue is now refusing to host it after being pressured by whining Democrats on Twitter.
The DeploraBall, organized by MAGA3X, is set to take place on January 19 — and it is sure to be one of the greatest parties of all time. The unofficial inaugural celebration was meant to be a fun and exciting evening for all of the “deplorables” who worked hard throughout the election season — whether on the ground in their neighborhoods or through social media. The event website states:
On Tuesday, the celebration caught the attention of Dan Lamothe from the extremely liberal newspaper The Washington Post.
Supporters of Hillary Clinton immediately began tweeting at the venue, the Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington, expressing their disgust that the establishment would dare to host an “alt-right” event.
The venue claimed on Twitter that they had not spoken to anyone about an event taking place there that evening — which was quickly proven to be untrue. Mike Cernovich, a popular author and journalist, began tweeting out the proposal documents which were sent to MAGA3X by the Clarendon Ballroom — including the quote that the DeploraBall organizers were provided with.
“Some still wonder why Trump won, and now you have the answer. We can’t even have a party – open to everyone, including liberals, gays, blacks, Latinos, whites, women, men, trans, and everyone else – without having Hillary supporters harass the venue owner to shut us down,” Cernovich told We Are Change. The event truly is set to be for everyone, with tickets priced around $30 to make sure it was affordable for all. Private donors and sponsors were set to cover the rest of the cost.
The black tie optional event will be attended by many popular social media influencers, artists, and alternative journalists who tirelessly fought to prevent a Clinton presidency. Those planning to attend include fighters such as Mike Cernovich, Sam Hyde, Lauren Southern, Roger Stone, Jim Hoft of the Gateway Pundit, Baked Alaska, Jack Posobiec, Gavin McInnes, Scott Isbell, Joe Biggs, and many more. The pop artist behind the viral hit “Trumpified,” Scott Isbell, told We Are Change that he has repeatedly been targeted over his support for the president-elect.
The event is meant to be a way for people, like Isbell, to be around like minded people to finally let loose and celebrate Trump’s victory without judgement. “The day after the election I wasn’t even able to go to class because several people sent me death threats that legit stated the name of the college I attend — and that they knew which dorm I lived in,” he continued. Isbell confirmed to We Are Change that he will be performing at the DeploraBall. Jack Posobiec, one of the event organizers and the director of Citizens for Trump, confirmed to We Are Change that due to the massive interest in the event, and the ease of ticket sales, the DeploraBall will be moved to a bigger, better, venue. Previously, Posobiec had attempted to host an event with the Arlington Parks Department — but the permit was rejected. He believes the rejection was also due to the event being in support of the president-elect.
“This is like refusing to bake a cake for someone because of their personal beliefs,” he continued.
Imagine the outcry if a venue cancelled a pro-Clinton event over petulant tweets sent by Trump supporters? The media would cover the liberal tear fest relentlessly — while declaring that only a fascist would refuse service over disagreeing with beliefs. Regardless, Trump supporters have clearly proven to be a resourceful bunch, and the DeploraBall — for us all — will surely be one that you do not want to miss. Stay tuned for updates. Kanye West Tweets About 2024 Run After Meeting with President-elect Trump
Posted: 13 Dec 2016 06:19 PM PST NEW YORK (WeAreChange) — Rapper and aspiring presidential candidate Kanye West met with President-elect Donald Trump at his Trump Tower in New York on Tuesday just days after stepping back into the public eyes following his mysterious and controversial hospitalization. Trump spoke to an entourage of reporters with West by his side, calling the rapper a “good man” and stating that they had been “friends for a long time.” West ignored questions from reporters as to what the two talk about and whether he would be performing at Trump’s inauguration on January 20th. “I just want to take a picture right now,” West said, smiling. “You take care of yourself, I’ll see you soon,” Trump told West. A transition spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, confirmed West, who has mentioned Trump in his lyrics, asked for a 15-minute meeting with Trump. This appears to be yet another sign that the hip-hop mogul and rapper is open to working with the President-elect. West indicated the topics he and Trump discussed in a series of tweets:
His #2024 tweet is reference to the fact that he would not run for President in 2020 anymore – essentially endorsing Trump. Political prognosticator and Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams has said the chances of Kanye winning the Presidency at some point are 90% given his persuasion skills. Adams’ predictions on the 2016 election have been eerily accurate.
West, who was hospitalized last month due to reasons that are not yet clear, shocked fans in California when he abruptly ended a concert with a rant in which he proclaimed that had he voted, he would have voted for Donald Trump. “I told y’all I didn’t vote, right?” Kanye said. “But if I would’ve voted, I would’ve voted for Trump.”
West, who attended a Hillary Clinton fundraiser with wife and staunch Clinton supporter Kim Kardashian last year, has long been known to make controversial statements.
Following West’s pro-Trump rant and a canceled Los Angeles concert, West canceled the rest of his 2016 Saint Pablo tour dates — which had been scheduled through New Year’s Eve. West’s political views are uncommon in the hip-hop community, which has in large part fiercely rejected the candidacy of the billionaire real estate mogul. Could President Trump find a role for Kanye West in his administration? Popular author Mike Cernovich, who also predicted Trump’s election over a year in advance, foresees a possible role for Kanye West – reaching out to the black community in America. “Trump creates informal role for Kayne, outreach to black community, consultant on black issue. Kayne wants it. It’d be masterful,” Cernovich tweeted in November.

Alleged Wikileaks Source Asks for Help From the Public
Posted: 13 Dec 2016 02:50 PM PST In September, two men were arrested in North Carolina over their alleged participation in a hacker group that was responsible for breaching the email accounts of high level government officials — and now one of the men is asking for help from the public to defend himself. Andrew Otto Boggs, 22, and Justin Gray Liverman, 24, both of North Carolina, are accused of being members of the hacking group “Crackas With Attitude” who breached the email accounts of CIA Director John Brennan, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. “From about October 2015 to February 2016, the group used ‘social engineering’ hacking techniques, including victim impersonation, to gain unlawful access to the personal online accounts of senior US government officials, their families, and several US government computer systems,” according to a news release from the Department of Justice. The group provided the contents of the email accounts to Wikileaks, which included drafts of policy documents, legislative drafts, contact details and, most sensitively, director Brennan’s background security clearance questionnaire containing Social Security numbers and the personal information of over a dozen top intelligence officials, all contained within an unsecure email server. Liverman, a computer science student who was known as @_d3f4ult on Twitter, maintains that he only knew the members of the group online, and never personally accessed any of the accounts. He also claims that his computer was hacked two nights before he was raided. “The fact that they think five people under 30 did this, imagine what a foreign nation could do. The group exposed how vulnerable our government is,” Liverman, a computer science student, told Sputnik News. The two men are expected to be indicted on December 28 and arraigned early January 2017 in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia for violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. The Courage Foundation is now helping to raise funds for Liverman’s legal defense.
The college student believes that the FBI used tactics to aid in their arrests that were illegal, as Sputnik News reported. “The method he believes that they employed to link him to the hacks is in line with the highly-controversial amendments to Rule 41, which, as of December 1, allow for the agency to hack and surveil an unlimited number of computers and devices globally, without a warrant. The amendment went into effect this month, long after he believes the tactics were used in this case.” For this reason, Liverman believes that his case will be “precedent setting given the events surrounding it, along with the recent illegal Rule 41 being ‘passed.’” We spoke to Liverman who explained that you can also now donate through bank transfer or Bitcoin. “Any donations will not only be helping me, but also my lawyers Tor Elkland. Jay Leiderman, and Marina Medvin stay in business,” Liverman told We Are Change. “Thank you everyone for all the support, and Merry Christmas!” Liverman noted that his legal team are some of the only lawyers in the world fighting for the rights of internet users. Where Is Former Clinton Foundation CEO That Podesta Fingered As Leak?
Posted: 13 Dec 2016 02:26 PM PST A former Clinton Foundation CEO who was pushed out of his role over his anti-corruption stances appears to be missing from the public eye, after being fingered as a leaker in an email exchange between John Podesta and Neera Tanden. After the National Journal published a story citing a “source close to the Clintons” saying to “follow the money,” a witch hunt ensued among Clinton loyalists. On March 8, 2015, Tanden, a domestic policy adviser and the President of Center for American Progress, sent a link to a tweet with the story to Podesta, former chairman of the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, warning him to “keep tabs on Doug Band.” Band, the counselor and chief advisor to former President Clinton, who helped to create the Clinton Global Initiative, was accused by Chelsea in 2011 of having conflicts of interest between the Clinton Foundation and his role as a founding partner and president of Teneo, a global consulting firm. He ultimately resigned from the foundation in 2015. In the Wikileaks release of Podesta’s emails, Band was seen accusing the former First Daughter of “using foundation resources for her wedding and life for a decade,” among other things. Podesta was not convinced, however, and replied to Tanden with a simple message asserting that the leaker was actually Eric Braverman — the man who was previously installed by Chelsea as a CEO of the foundation. “Holy Moses,” Tanden responds to Podesta’s claim. One week prior to this email exchange, Politico published a story titled “Eric Braverman Tried to Change the Clinton Foundation. Then He Quit.” The article implies that Braverman was pushed out of the foundation by Clinton loyalists.
Politico also explains that Braverman had made changes that would naturally upset those who owe their careers to the Clintons. “He diversified the foundation’s board beyond the Clintons and their longtime political allies and restructured its finance department. He oversaw the creation of a $250 million endowment and implemented data-driven analytics to measure the effectiveness of foundation programs,” the article stated. No public explanation for him leaving the foundation after only 18 months has ever been given. In October, rumors began swirling that Braverman had been seeking asylum in Russia because he had secrets that could “expose the real Clinton scandal.” Zero Hedge noted that the former CEO’s resignation came shortly after an email sent from Huma Abedin to Robby Mook asserted that Clinton had directly approached the King of Morocco to host a meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative.
Since the rumors began, there have been no signs of Braverman on social media. Neither his Twitter, which it must be noted that he barely used to begin with, nor his Facebook have been publicly updated since at least October. Braverman nor anyone close to him have confirmed or denied his safety or whereabouts. So the question remains swirling on Reddit, where is Braverman?
