Bringing the truth to our beloved readers isn’t without its adverse consequences. The “usual suspects” and other assorted communists, degenerates and libtards are always devising new ways to harass and hinder the holy work of Sugar and me, er, “The Editorial Board” of TomatoBubble.com / The Anti-New York Times. It’s all part of doing business.
The lastest tactic involves the use of legal extortion over a frivolous “offense.” We can’t get into the particulars of the threatened lawsuit because, under advice of counsel, we chose to settle the matter out-of-court rather than risk the possibilty of a crooked judge (cough cough) possibly decreeing “damages” far more substantial. Next time, we’ll be more careful.
Suffice it to say that the amount we just shelled out, though not back-breaking or life-changing, amounted to an unexpected and nasty little financial sting that has really upset Sugar. This request is not going out to the general mailing list. We’re only asking “youse guys” (current or past donors) to all chip-in whatever you are comfortable with — in excess of what you may already be donating — so that we can, together, as brothers and sisters in truth, painlessly absorb this mini-shock as if it never happened.
If money is tight, then keep in mind that even as little as $10, combined with small amounts of so many others receiving this plea, will do the trick. Should we exceed the amount that we lost on settlement and legal fees, any extra will be put towards advertising “The Bad War.” How’s that for taking these libtard lemons and making lemomade?!
