The phrase “conspiracy theorist” gets thrown around these days like pies get thrown around in an episode of The Three Stooges.

It has become so overused in fact that it almost doesn’t mean anything anymore (and has been superseded by the “fake news” psyop as a means of discrediting truly independent media that criticizes the establishment or asks too many questions).

Once upon a time, being a conspiracy theorist wasn’t automatically akin to being a crazy tin foil hatter.

That all changed swiftly after John F. Kennedy’s assassination, when polls showed nearly half the country was not buying the Warren Commission’s findings or its report solidifying the government’s official version of events; a Gallup poll reported in January 1967 that at least 46% of the country did not believe Oswald acted alone.

The fast progress in the field of technology and the changes that happened in the way people view the world and society had strong impact on our lifestyles.

This ultimately means that we are more prone to reduce our well-being by getting exposed to many different toxins and chemicals.

We eat GMO and chemical-packed foods; we breathe polluted air and get in touch with many harmful substances on a daily basis.

What is even worse is that most people are unaware of these risks, especially when it comes to foods because they think that the labels are a proof that everything is alright.

At a children’s health conference earlier this month, the results of a study were presented which show that glyphosate, the main component in the Monsanto herbicide, RoundUp, is detected in pregnant women and could lead to adverse outcomes, including shorter gestation times and lower birth weights.

The news comes just weeks after the USDA scrapped plans to start testing food for glyphosate.

For the study, researchers tested and tracked 69 pregnant women and found that the presence of glyphosate levels in the women’s bodily fluids correlated with unfavorable birth outcomes.

The study, which is still in the preliminary stages, is a project of the Children’s Environmental Health Network (CEHN), which is studying the effects of the chemical on reproductive and children’s health amid rising herbicide use in the Midwest.
