MSM Admits ISIS Used Chemical Weapons In Syria

Posted: 10 Apr 2017 10:18 AM PDT

We Are Change

In November of last year, the New York Times reported that IHS Conflict Monitor, a London-based intelligence collection and analysis service found that ISIS had used chemical weapons 52 times in Syria and Iraq. This report appears to have been largely ignored and forgotten by the Trump administration, as President Donald Trump just launched a missile bombardment on a Syrian military base. Without having any prior investigation performed to determine who was actually responsible for the chemical attack.

The report found that the Islamic State used sulfur mustard— a chemical warfare agent. The group’s conclusions were based on local news reports, social media and the Islamic State’s own propaganda.

Last Thursday’s airstrikes were largely praised by the mainstream media however, things just aren’t adding up. It appears as the days continue to pass since Tuesday’s chemical attack more questions are emerging with little answers. Meanwhile, a report surfaced that potentially contains the missing puzzle piece to the previous suggestions that ISIS may have gassed their own people and the Syrian government might, in fact, be innocent as this article will attempt to provide proof of this claim.

[RELATED: INSANITY: Brian Williams Calls Trump’s Air Strikes “Beautiful”]

[RELATED: False Flag in Syria? Journalists Raise Alarms On Gas Attack]

The Wall Street Journal reported that the Syrian government had completed the removal of all chemical weapons from the country in 2014. The WMD handover was corroborated by the United Nations Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and a statement by Senator John Kerry. While the Syrian government is on record surrendering their chemical weapons, the “moderate rebel” groups have used them increasingly.

In 2014, Kerry admits that #Syria gave away ALL its chemical weapons. But today we’re supposed to believe that Assad gassed his own people? pic.twitter.com/DT9B9cYyKH

— Sarah Abdallah (@sahouraxo) April 5, 2017

Let’s first review reasons why the Syrian government probably didn’t gas their own people.

First and foremost it wouldn’t benefit the Assad government in any way shape or form. Trump’s administration before the chemical attack said it would not pursue regime changes on Syria’s Assad. A few days later the attack happened rolling back on that previous promise.

Second, Assad recently handed evidence to the Hague and the UN watchdog group OPCW in January that allegedly proves the Syrian rebels used mustard gas against civilians. An assertion that IHS Conflict Monitor had made in November, just a few months before.

This theory that ISIS is responsible for the attack and not the Syrian government is backed by a plethora of coincidences. Including them—ISIS— immediately attacking a Syrian town after Trump’s strike. Also, a shocking but questionable tweet 24 hours prior to the chemical weapons attack on April 3rd, 2017, by an anti-Assad journalist claimed that the next day he would be launching a media campaign to cover airstrikes on the Hama countryside, including the use of chemical weapons.

Tweet says: “Tomorrow a media campaign will begin to cover intense air raids on the Hama countryside and use of chlorine against civilians”

— Sarah Abdallah (@sahouraxo) April 5, 2017

Further, a doctor on the ground in Khan Sheikhoun, Dr. Shajul Islam, had received several shipments of gas masks in the days leading up to the chemical incident. That same doctor is also one of the main sources for MSM reporting on this chemical attack. Despite the fact the man is sought by the British government in connection with the abduction of two journalists in Syria and is alleged to have ties to the infamous now dead Jihadi John.

Islam had his license stripped after being accused of participating in a terrorist kidnapping ring targeting Western journalists PJMedia reported.

British journalist John Cantlie was set to testify as the main witness against Islam during the pre-trial hearing. However, Cantlie was then kidnapped a second time.

This isn’t the first time that the U.S. media has used a “medical professional’s” claims to advance war. It’s important to remember during the Gulf War a nurse named Nayirah testified that Iraqi soldiers removed babies from incubators in Kuwait.

It turned out that Nayirah was in fact, Nijirah al-Sabah, the daughter of Kuwait’s ambassador to the United States Saud Nasir Al-Sabah at the time. She was coached by Hill & Knowlton to forge her infamous testimony which was widely reported and repeated throughout the media despite being proven false as 60 minutes exposed in the 1990s. Knowing this is important to understand, that in order to go to war in a foreign country most Americans have never even heard of existing, requires an emotional response to push that agenda onto the people.

Not getting off track just to show the previous manipulation that turned out to be false, the group in the Khan Sheikhoun area is also occupied by the NGO White Helmets whose leader Raed Salah, was denied entry into the U.S. at Washington’s Dulles International Airport and deported, due to “extremist connections” while on his way to receive a humanitarian relief award at a gala dinner hosted by USAID.

John Kerry met with this same group. Learn more in the related link below as reiterating that information would make this article painstakingly long.

[RELATED: Why ISIS, Obama, and John Kerry Don’t Want You To Hear This Leaked Audio]

This same group has faked a crisis scene before that looked shockingly real for the infamous “mannequin challenge.” The video was then pulled from their youtube channel after it raised immense levels of controversy. It was labeled as distasteful but not before others on the internet downloaded it and reuploaded it.

So now that those facts are established, there is a backbone to who these rebels are.

Is there any evidence where ISIS otherwise known as the “moderate rebels” as documents obtained by Judicial Watch state the growing jihadi presence within the Syrian rebel groups could have potentially got chemical weapons?

Yes, in fact, Foreign Policy reported that in 2012 ISIS had captured a Syrian military base that was filled with chemical weapons. That’s one year prior to the 2013 infamous chemical attack where UN envoy investigators were shot at by snipers in Syria trying to investigate the incident.

According to Foreign Policy their source —an ISIS fighter Abu Ahmad— the terrorist group found barrels filled with chlorine, sarin, and mustard gas. Al-Nusra an Al-Qaeda affiliate then called for dozens of trucks to transport the chemical weapons according to Ahmad.

The Guardian also reported that ISIS had captured a massive former Iraqi chemical weapons factory with more than 2,000 degraded chemical rockets filled with sarin gas in 2014.

Then, that same year it was claimed that two abandoned cylinders containing Sarin were reportedly seized by Syrian government troops, in an area controlled by armed opposition groups and handed over to the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

The letter stated the cylinders were, “reportedly seized by the armed forces of the Syrian Arab Republic in August 2013 in an area reportedly under the control of armed opposition groups.”

Is there evidence that these weapons have been used before?
Indeed they have been used by several jihadist groups and not only ISIS.

Voice of America reported just last year that jihadist group Jaysh al-Islam used chemical weapons in attacks against Kurdish troops in Aleppo.

Syrian rebels have also been caught testing Tekkim chemicals on rabbits and even threatened to use the chemicals against civilians in Syria on a sectarian basis.

With this renewed information it’s highly possible that Syrian opposition groups staged a chemical weapons attack. Or as the Russians and Syria have stated the chemicals were spread from bombing chemicals that the group had stored. But what journalist will dare write about all this as I have? In order to determine what really happened on the ground a probe is needed by the UN Security Council and international community.

[RELATED: UK Government Offered ‘Journalists’ $17,000 to Write Propaganda For Syrian Rebels]

In closing, information that emerges from Syria is clouded as many groups successfully occupy the region and given the complexity of the situation.

This is exactly why complete formal investigations are required before bombing campaigns occur over videos originating out of Syria that could potentially trigger world war three.

To quote the long, great deceased William Cooper, “believe none of which you hear and only part of what you see,” a version of Edgar Allen Poe’s, “believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.” In other words, use your own judgment.

‘Red Line Crossed’: Threat Of War By Russia, Iran Fabricated By Media?

Posted: 10 Apr 2017 09:56 AM PDT

We Are Change

MAINSTREAM MEDIA PROMOTES WAR THREAT BY RUSSIA AND IRAN IF “RED LINE CROSSED,” STORY REFERENCES DUBIOUS “JOINT COMMAND CENTER.”

Numerous U.S. corporate media outlets, headed by Reuters, have over the past 24 hours been reporting a major threat of warfare and connecting it to Russia, Iran, and Syria, in what appears to be a major escalation of hostilities in the wake of the U.S. air strikes on Thursday. The only problem is that the “joint command center” the reports are relying on for the statement, doesn’t appear to exist.

Pointed out by Adam Garrie at TheDuran.com, mainstream media outlets, Reuters, The Independent, ABC News, and the Express to name a few, along with Infowars.com and ZeroHedge, cite “Ilam al Harbi” as the media source that is reporting the following statement:

“What America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well.”

A google search of “Ilam al Harbi” shows result of this story and numerous references by a Yemen Press website. However, this major threat of war apparently reported by “Ilam al Harbi” doesn’t appear on those search results. The origin of this “crossing of red lines” statement can only be found on an Al-Masdar News article, which has published an Arabic-written document claiming it’s from “the military operation rooms of Russia, Iran, Hezbollah and other allies.”

Whilst there is a joint intelligence-sharing cooperation agreement between Russia, Syria, Iran, Iraq and Hezbollah in the effort to fight ISIL, it is never referred to as a “joint command center” and is not involved in making public political statements. There is no media statement about the threat from the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation as one would expect, particularly given it made a recent statement by its spokesman on the U.S. air strikes on Friday.

Despite the statement being difficult to verify, Reuters opens its article by stating:

A joint command center made up of the forces of Russia, Iran and militias supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.”

It also quotes from the Al-Masdar News statement with no question of its veracity and reports on a phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iran’s Hassan Rouhani, as if it’s relevant to the same statement.

We Are Change will seek to monitor the veracity of this story over the coming days, but it currently appears that U.S. corporate media has at best, published a story without thoroughly checking the sources. At worst, it is regurgitating its own fake news in a wartime environment, as it did with WMDs in Iraq, increasing the possibility of war between nations.

WATCH: United Airlines Passenger Brutally Dragged Off Overbooked Plane By Security

Posted: 10 Apr 2017 08:11 AM PDT

We Are Change

A screaming man was knocked unconscious and forcibly dragged off an overbooked United Airlines Chicago flight by security officers while fellow passengers yelled at what they deemed heavy-handed and brutal behavior.

Please share this video. We are on this flight. United airlines overbooked the flight. They randomly selected people to kick off so their standby crew could have a seat. This man is a doctor and has to be at the hospital in the morning. He did not want to get off. We are all shaky and so disgusted. #unitedairways

Posted by Audra D. Bridges on Sunday, April 9, 2017

The shocking video shows three officers filmed yanking the man from his seat in the process bashing his head against an armrest and dragging him down the aisle as he bled from his mouth.

An alternative angle shows the scene much more clear and we can place a bet that a hefty lawsuit will come out of this one.

United Airlines Overbooked #Flight3411 And Decided To Drag A Random Passenger Off the Plane Who Was A Doctor..pic.twitter.com/ecbGvmuYE8

— WeAreChange NYC (@WeAreChangeNYC) April 10, 2017

The man claimed to be a doctor and said he needed to see patients the next morning. He was one of four randomly selected by United to leave the 5.40pm flight from Chicago to Louisville the Courier-Journal reported.

United had asked for volunteers to give up their seats for $800 to stay in a hotel and fly the next day. Four random passengers were asked to get off so airline staff could get to Louisville to pilot a flight the next day.

All the passengers refused and the airline manager then boarded the plane and said they would randomly select four people. One couple left the plane at Chicago O’Hare peacefully, but the Asian man who was who was traveling with his wife refused to leave the plane.

That’s when law enforcement was called to remove the man by force.

Passengers screamed in protest: ‘my god what are you doing’ one woman said, ‘this is wrong’ another passenger said as the situation unfolded. The Asian man appeared to go limp after being slammed against a headrest and one passenger said he was ‘knocked out’.

The video was taken by a passenger on the flight named Audra D. Bridges who told the news agency her account of what happened.

“Passengers were told at the gate that the flight was overbooked and staff appealed for one volunteer to accept $400 and a hotel stay to take a flight at 3 p.m. the following day,” Bridges said.

All the remaining passengers were then allowed to board the flight only to be told that another four people would have to give up their seats for United staff in Louisville.

United said that four stand-by staff needed to be in Louisville for a flight the next day and the plane would not take off until they had seats.

Even when the offer was increased to $800, no one volunteered.

At this point, Bridges said that a manager came on board the flight and stated four ‘volunteers’ would be randomly selected by the airlines’ computer system.

United Airlines said in a statement:

“Flight 3411 from Chicago to Louisville was overbooked,” the spokesperson said. “After our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate.

“We apologize for the overbook situation. Further details on the removed customer should be directed to authorities.”

UK Government Offered ‘Journalists’ $17,000 To Write Propaganda For Syrian Rebels

Posted: 10 Apr 2017 04:13 AM PDT

We Are Change

Alternet, a prominent media outlet which has been around since 1997 and has won awards for their journalism has recently come forward with a bombshell release. According to e-mails and testimony provided to Alternet by an anonymous source, the British government funds the Revolutionary Forces of Syria (RFS) media office.

This is worth noting because the UK government is intimately involved in the Syrian conflict. As a UK-based government website says:

“the UK continues to work for a political solution that would establish a democratic Syria and lasting stability for all Syrians. We have condemned the brutal violence of the violence of the Asad regime and support diplomatic efforts to end the suffering and establish political transition.”

In other words, the UK government has a direct interest in regime change on the one hand, and on the other hand, they have a media office which is located in Istanbul which, as the released e-mails describe, reports news “surrounding the Syrian conflict.” Are we to assume that the UK government wanted to hire a reporter who might not promote their agenda?

The UK’s involvement in the Syrian conflict was reportedly the reason that the anonymous source (who is also apparently a journalist based in the Middle East) refused to work for the UK government and report for the RFS media office. The anonymous source said that he was offered a hefty $17,000 a month for the position, which would have been for HMG (Her Majesties’ Government) operating out of Istanbul Turkey.

The original report by Alternet claims that links to the RFS media office were included in the e-mails, but we cannot confirm this claim. This means that the only way we can connect this story to the RFS media office is by the reporting of Alternet.

This Isn’t The First Time Somebody Has Questioned UK Media Tactics

Last year, The Guardian revealed that the UK engages in a “propaganda war” with ISIS to seemingly marginalize their growth and influence. The intent of this action, as the Guardian describes:

“is part of a broader propaganda effort focused on Syria, with other elements intended to promote ‘the moderate values of the revolution’ and help mould a Syrian sense of national identity that will reject both the Assad regime and Isis.”

If this is true, the UK is engaging in a propaganda war which they hope will result in regime change. Regardless of whether or not the Alternet story is valid, it seems that we can now safely argue that the UK government is interested in hiring reporters to report on the Syrian conflict, a conflict which the UK government has a direct interest in. However, as the RFS media website says: “RFS Media Office is committed to professionalism and development as it seeks to report the truth,” so let’s be slow to start accusations and pointing of fingers.

For your reference, the e-mails which were released are included below:

Syria Opens Fire at US Aircraft near Border with Turkey Following Washington’s Recent Aggression

Posted: 10 Apr 2017 01:18 AM PDT

We Are Change

Originally published at Farsnews.com
TEHRAN (FNA) — Well-informed sources in Northern Syrian reported that the Syrian Army troops have opened heavy fire at an American reconnaissance plane in Northern Hasaka, forcing the US plane to leave the country’s airspace.

The sources said that the intense fire of the special forces forced an American reconnaissance plane to leave the region after approaching the army troops’ positions in Qamishli border city.

Meanwhile, a military source confirmed the report, stressing that the US reconnaissance aircraft was flying over the Syrian Army Base in Qamishli and distanced itself from the region after it came under fire.

Local officials confirmed on Friday that several civilians were killed and several more were wounded in the US raid on a Syrian airfield in Homs province.

Governor of Homs province Talal Barazi told reporters that the US strike on a Syrian airfield led to civilian casualties in a village near the base, as well as the airbase itself, adding at least five people were killed and seven wounded.

Two civilians and three military personnel were killed in the strike, AP reported, citing the governor.

The American missile attack on Syria won’t topple its government or change the policies of Damascus, he said after a barrage of 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles targeted a Syrian airfield.

“The Syrian leadership and Syrian policy will not change,” Barazi said in a phone interview with Syrian state television. “This targeting was not the first and I don’t believe it will be the last.”

He added that Shayrat airbase would be rebuilt and would continue to play a role in fighting terrorists.

Barazi told Reuters that firefighting and rescue operations were under way at the Shayrat airfield after the US attack, but he believed that there were not many casualties on the ground.

Barazi said Washington’s escalation of the conflict in Syria only served terrorist groups such as ISIL.

The governor said that the base played a significant role in the recent capture of the city of Palmyra from ISIL.

The Syrian state TV called the attack “American aggression”.

On Friday, US warships in the Eastern Mediterranean fired 59 Tomahawk missiles at the Syrian airfield, with Pentagon claiming that it was used in a chemical weapons attack against a rebel-held town in Idlib province on Tuesday.

The retaliation came before the UN or the OPCW, the chemical weapons watchdog, could investigate the incident. Washington sided with the rebel-linked activists, which accused Damascus of killing civilians with toxic gas.

The Russian Foreign Ministry reminded US on Thursday that all chemical weapons were taken out of Syria in mid-2014 with Washington’s assistance.

The ministry said that Russia considers US Vice President Mike Pence’s statements claiming that Moscow and Damascus allegedly did not fulfill obligations to destroy Syrian nuclear arsenal to be groundless, Sputnik reported.

Pence had no grounds to say that the 2013 deal on the Syrian chemical weapons’ destruction failed.

The ministry said that Russia-US cooperation on the issue was overall and quite successful.

Moscow said that it was premature to accuse the Syrian government of using chemical weapons in Idlib, adding that Russia insists on conducting a full-fledged probe into the issue.

In 2013, the Syrian authorities agreed to transfer its stockpiled chemical weapons to international control for their subsequent destruction, so as to prevent them from falling into the hands of militants operating in the country.

Syrian opposition claimed Tuesday forces loyal to President Bashar Assad had used a chemical gas on people in the Northwestern province, killing nearly 80 and injuring 200. Assad argued his government had no chemical weapons after agreeing to have them destroyed in 2013. He also ruled out having used chemicals against own people.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said earlier in the day that the US-UK-France-backed draft resolution on the chemical weapons in Syria was based on fake reports mostly from the White Helmets and the SOHR “which cannot be called reliable.”

The Russian Defense Ministry said early Wednesday the airstrike near Khan Sheikhoun was carried out by Syrian aircraft, which struck a terrorist warehouse that stored chemical weapons slated for delivery to Iraq.

NSA Hacking Tools Kit Released By Shadow Brokers

Posted: 09 Apr 2017 11:29 PM PDT

We Are Change

The Shadow Brokers have released a 171 MB file of leaks which Edward Snowden claims is the “Top secret arsenal of digital weapons.” In Fall of 2016, the group had reportedly asked for 1 million Bitcoins in an auction to release the files. It is unclear whether or not they received this massive amount of digital currency in exchange for today’s leak.

NSA just lost control of its Top Secret arsenal of digital weapons; hackers leaked it.
1) https://t.co/zleVbyBtE3
2) https://t.co/aKwdiNbrJA

— Edward Snowden (@Snowden) April 8, 2017

The files, seemingly stolen from the NSA’s Equation Group, had previously been rumored as being the work of a “Second Snowden.” The Shadow Brokers’ leak, not to be confused with Wikileaks’ Vault 7 release of CIA files, will effectively release what has been claimed to be the NSA’s “secret arsenal” of digital cyber weapons if confirmed as legitimate.

[RELATED: Second Snowden]

Edward Snowden claims that today’s leak is “nowhere near the full library, but there’s still so much here that NSA should be able to instantly identify where this set came from and how they lost it. If they can’t, it’s a scandal.”

Quick review of the #ShadowBrokers leak of Top Secret NSA tools reveals it’s nowhere near the full library, but there’s still so… (1/2)

— Edward Snowden (@Snowden) April 8, 2017

The attached obfuscated message from Shadow Brokers gives a heated attack on President Trump citing the following list of reasons that he has been abandoning his supporters (which they were among):

“#1 — Goldman Sach (TheGlobalists) and Military Industrial Intelligence Complex (MIIC) cabinet
#2 — Backtracked on Obamacare
#3 — Attacked the Freedom Causcus (TheMovement)
#4 — Removed Bannon from the NSC
#5 — Increased U.S. involvement in a foreign war (Syria Strike)”

There is no clear intent in the message as to why the hacking group decided to leak alleged NSA files today outside of the above frustrations. The Shadow Brokers furthermore claims to offer their services to Trump, that they took the same oath to protect the Constitution as he did and that:

“Most of us used to be TheDeepState everyone is talking about. But we realized TheDeepState is being the enemy of the Constitution, individualism, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”

The Shadow Brokers have also threatened to unmask anyone they consider to be an enemy of the Constitution of the United States. Names that were dropped in the immediately following obfuscated text include John McCain, “many defense contractors, Saudi Princes, and possibly little Vietnamese boy he shares with Senator Lindsey Graham.” They also name dropped the New York Times, Washington Post, Goldman Sachs, Jeff Bezos, and “all other globalists.”

As we continue to dig through today’s leak, we will keep you informed on this new development.

Protest were held in – Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Leskovac, Lazarevac, Sombor, Kragujevac, Pozarevac, Uzice, Sabac, Kraljevo, Smederevo, Subotica, Bor and Cacak Danas reported.

Protesters included police and military unions according to Danas.

“The times when politicians would turn the army and police against its people are over. The army, the police, and the people are in one place today,” Veljko Mijailovic, the head of the police union, told the crowd.

In Belgrade, demonstrators gathered near parliament buildings, blowing whistles, chanting slogans and lighting fires in the streets.

According to a loose translation of the Serbian news agency:

Protesters chanted “Vucic, thieves” and “stole the election” “You’re not our president” and “We will not Ceca to the Minister.” Students held up signs that read “Stop the dictatorship,” “Take responsibility, not a sandwich”, “Freedom of the media”, “Vucic is not my president”, “Down with dictatorship.”

The country is rife with allegations of election fraud. Vucic asked the Republic Electoral Commission to re-count the ballots from the presidential election  in front of cameras for the public to see.

An electoral Staff member, Sasa Jankovic, is being accused of potentially stealing 319,000 votes, although he has denied the allegations and said that it was ” notorious nonsense”, adding that he had not stolen anything.

Vucic has also denied the allegations questioning the Serbian government about its accused fraud.

“How now 300,000, and two days ago it was 800,000?” Vucic told reporters.

However, election officials have discovered serious irregularities at more than 25 polling stations.

The election headquarters of Sasa Jankovic has announced criminal charges against unknown persons and all members of committees at several polling stations where those irregularities were found.

Meanwhile, in Sjenica officials have found some ballots to have falsified signatures and some ballots cast by people who have been deceased for years.

Pro-Russia Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, 47, won the election last Sunday, April 2nd, with a decisive 55% of the vote against his two rival candidates who received 16% and 9% in an election that many believe was corrupt. This gives his populist Serbian Progressive Party control of both the executive and legislative branches of the Serbian government DW.com reported.

The 9% was earned by Luka Maksimovic, a media student who ran as a satirical candidate to mock the corruption in the election.

Vucic has repeatedly said he will not alter the former Yugoslav republic’s geopolitical balance between the European Union, which Serbia seeks to join, and Russia, with which Serbs share their Orthodox Christian faith and Slavic heritage, Reuters reported.

He thanked German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin, both of whom he met during the election campaign. Putin endorsed Vucic the day before the election wishing him good luck.

“For me it is important this election demonstrated that a large majority of Serbian citizens favors the continuation of the European path while maintaining close ties with China and Russia,” Vucic told his cheering supporters.

He has recently moved closer to Russia on military and economic cooperation.

Reuters called him conservative but then added, Vucic “is expected to retain de facto power through his control of Serbia’s ruling Progressive Party.”

Vucic is expected to use the presidency to appoint a cipher successor as prime minister and to transform the presidency into a more powerful position to consolidate his power, Radio Free Europe warned.

Protesters have called for the government, along with top officials from the public broadcasters RTS and RTV, the Central Election Commission, and the regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, to step down and resign.

“We are here to demand more democracy, an end to Vucic’s dictatorial regime and a better future, more jobs and a better education system,” said Djordje Peric, 21, according to Reuters.

Reddit reported:

This is Belgrade in Serbia [shows photo of protesters above]. A country where young people are leaving because there are no jobs. No future. Corruption is extremely high. People are being called at home to vote for a corrupt president. Votes are being bought. Dead people voted. People that live abrought voted. Television belongs to the state. People live on an avarage of €300 a month. Need a loan from the bank to fix the car, if they already own a car.
People are sick of it! They go outside and protest!

It’s not just the election outcome we’re unhappy about. We’re unhappy, unemployed, poor, hungry. Anyone who doesn’t have access to the internet (which is a fucktone of people) is brainwashed by the controlled media. Thousands of people go on the streets to try and grab attention, and still half the country has no idea the protests are going on. In the media they call us “a handfull of drunk hooligans”, while the other day more than 10.000 young people, parents and even some grandparents marched for hours. We’re marching every day starting 6pm, and I can only hope we change at least a tiny bit of this shitty situation we’re in.

Dramatic Escalation in Syria – Russia Prepared to Strike Back

Posted: 09 Apr 2017 03:13 PM PDT

We Are Change

According to the Syrian media sources, the Russian government has taken measures to guarantee more security for its forces in case of possible attack regarding the recent U.S. Tomahawk air strikes on the Shayrat air base on April 7.

At this moment, two Russian all-purpose jets capable of spotting and intercepting cruise missiles are barraging in the Eastern Mediterranean. Moreover, the Russian forces are ready to carry out retaliatory strikes on the U.S. ships that launch cruise missiles if they attack the Russian military objects (including Khmeimim and Tartus bases).

Meanwhile, the Russian military advisors have arrived at the Syrian bases equipped with the anti-aircraft defense systems to assist Assad’s forces to counter cruise missiles strikes.

The United States fired dozens of cruise missiles at a Syrian air base on Friday from which it said a deadly chemical weapons attack had been launched earlier in the week, escalating the U.S. role in Syria and drawing criticism from Assad’s allies including Russia and Iran.

The joint command center also said the presence of U.S troops in northern Syria where Washington has hundreds of special forces helping the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to oust Islamic State was “illegal” and that Washington had a long-term plan to occupy the area.

The regional alliance said the U.S. cruise missile strikes on a Syrian base killed dozens of civilians would not deter their forces from “liberating” all of Syrian territory.

It’s notable that the British paper Daily Mail has removed an article titled “The United States supported the plan to carry out a chemical attack in Syria and blame Assad regime” dated January 29 2013.

As Wearechange.org mentioned earlier, thousands took to the streets to protest against the U.S. airstrikes against Syria yesterday. Protesters from all across the country made it clear that they will not stand for U.S. aggression in Syria, in a direct clash with the recent actions ordered by the Trump administration.

As the U.S continues to intervene in Syria, the majority of protesters expressed their concerns saying that money spent on these weapons of mass destruction, should rather go towards funding, “jobs, schools and healthcare.” The tomahawk missiles that struck Syria in the first wave of airstrikes reportedly cost $60 million USD in total as one tomahawk missile is valued at approximately $1 million USD.

Is Your Government a Democracy or a Totalitarian State?

Posted: 09 Apr 2017 02:35 PM PDT

We Are Change

Article via The Daily Sheeple

The USA is already a Totalitarian State with a Ministry of Propaganda that works overtime to generate a flimsy illusion of “democracy.”

Is your “democracy” (or republic) actually a Totalitarian State? That is, is it a “democracy” or “republic” in name only? To find out, take this quick quiz.

1. Does your government (federal, state and local) seize citizens’ assets without due process? In other words, the rule of law is dead; the state is the law. If the answer is yes, Your “democracy” is already a Totalitarian State. The answer in the USA is a definitive “yes.”

2. Does your government impose tyranny by complexity? If so, the average citizen lacks the wealth and connections needed to fight the seizure of private property without due process or recourse.

In the USA, the answer is “yes,” the government is a tyranny by complexity.

3. Is your government essentially “for sale” to wealthy elites? If the answer is yes, Your “democracy” is already a Totalitarian State–or more accurately, a fascist Totalitarian State.

4. Does your government spy on its entire citizenry? If the answer is yes, Your “Democracy” is already a Totalitarian State. The answer in the USA is a definitive “yes.”

Well, you have your answer: the USA is already a Totalitarian State with a Ministry of Propaganda that works overtime to generate a flimsy illusion of “democracy.” Please read the following links if you seek documentation of these systemic abuses of centralized power.

Orwell and Kafka Do America: How the Government Steals Your Money–“Legally,” Of Course (March 24, 2015)

Government in the USA is expropriating the private property of its citizenry without due process on a vast scale. I have provided documentation of this extraordinary reality many times over the years.

The various levels of government have a variety of “legal” (haha) means to steal your property without due process or recourse: civil forfeiture, absurdly expensive traffic fines that lead to jail sentences in the local debtors prison-gulag, forfeiture of assets, including land, should government agents find the marijuana plants they planted on your property (surprise!), the state steals your money in a bank account and notifies you after the fact that the state suspects you owe it taxes, though they have zero evidence of that claim–and on and on.

The courts place no limits on the central state’s power, for they are simply one side of the same statist coin, and so we have a totalitarian kleptocracy that in true Orwellian fashion claims it is a functioning “democracy”:

Death of Donald P. Scott (Wikipedia); (source):

“In October of 1992, millionaire recluse Donald Scott and his bride of two months, Frances Plante Scott, lived in a storybook wooded valley in the mountains high above Malibu, Calif. Trails End Ranch is almost completely surrounded by state and Federal park land, and the neighboring government entities had made numerous attempts to buy out Scott and annex his property.

Stymied in their attempt to buy the Scott ranch, government officials hit on an alternative plan. Contending an officer had seen “marijuana plants growing under the trees” during a drug-seeking overflight, agents from various jurisdictions gathered quietly outside the locked gate to the ranch in the morning mists of Oct. 2, 1992.

After greedily studying the maps of the 200 acres of prime land they were told they’d be able to grab under federal asset seizure laws should they find as few as 14 marijuana plants, they cut the chain on the gate with bolt-cutters and raced a mile up the dirt drive to the ranch, complete with police dogs.

Frances Scott was in the kitchen, brewing her morning coffee, when dozens of men in plainclothes and brandishing guns — no badges or warrants in evidence — came swarming in. Understandably, she screamed for her husband, still asleep upstairs.

Donald Scott, 63, came hurrying down the stairs, a handgun held over his head. The officers shouted for him to lower his weapon. He did. They shot him dead.”

Your government in action–completely legally, of course. I hope you approve. The irony of tragedies like this is that when young Americans faced similar “law enforcement” tactics in the late 1960s and early 1970s via COINTELPRO and other blatant violations of constitutional rights, we were written off as radical hippies who were a threat to something (certainly not democracy, but “something.” Like perhaps an illegal war and an out-of-control secret government?)

Now that average citizens are facing similar tactics, they might find it interesting to study the COINTELPRO campaign of the FBI and other “law enforcement” officials against the anti-Vietnam War movement three decades ago.

According to attorney Brian Glick in his book War at Home, the FBI used four main methods during COINTELPRO:

1. Infiltration: Agents and informers did not merely spy on political activists. Their main purpose was to discredit and disrupt. Their very presence served to undermine trust and scare off potential supporters. The FBI and police exploited this fear to smear genuine activists as agents.

2. Psychological Warfare From the Outside: The FBI and police used a myriad of other “dirty tricks” to undermine progressive movements. They planted false media stories and published bogus leaflets and other publications in the name of targeted groups. They forged correspondence, sent anonymous letters, and made anonymous telephone calls. They spread misinformation about meetings and events, set up pseudo movement groups run by government agents, and manipulated or strong-armed parents, employers, landlords, school officials and others to cause trouble for activists.

3. Harassment Through the Legal System: The FBI and police abused the legal system to harass dissidents and make them appear to be criminals. Officers of the law gave perjured testimony and presented fabricated evidence as a pretext for false arrests and wrongful imprisonment. They discriminatorily enforced tax laws and other government regulations and used conspicuous surveillance, “investigative” interviews, and grand jury subpoenas in an effort to intimidate activists and silence their supporters.

4. Extralegal Force and Violence: The FBI conspired with local police departments to threaten dissidents; to conduct illegal break-ins in order to search dissident homes; and to commit vandalism, assaults, beatings and assassinations. The object was to frighten, or eliminate, dissidents and disrupt their movements.

I’ve published many first-hand accounts of the kleptocratic predation of the state of California. I invite you to read this carefully:

Welcome to the Predatory State of California–Even If You Don’t Live There (March 20, 2012)

First the state steals the $1,343 and authorizes its parasitic predatory bag-“person” Wells Fargo Bank to steal another $100 for handling the state’s theft.

A week or two later the citizen is notified of the theft as a fait accompli. Now the onus is on the law-abiding citizen to attempt to reclaim his own money from a distant, all-powerful Kafkaesque state agency. How can this be legal in a nation supposedly operating under rule of law?

Let’s be very clear about what happens here in America on a daily basis:

1. The state (or other agency of government) steals citizen’s money without due process.

2. Then, in a move akin to the executioner making the condemned buy his own death bullet, the state authorizes the “too big to fail” corporate bank which received billions in taxpayer bailouts to steal $100 from the citizen for the digital theft of his money by the state.

3. If the citizen needed that money to pay rent, buy medication to stay alive, etc., tough luck, Buckwheat, the state of California has your money before they notify you of the purported tax liability and now you enter the Kafkaesque insanity of pleading for a “refund” of your own money from an agency designed to thwart transparency and the reclamation of your own money.

So if you get evicted and are living in a cardboard box and pass away due to inability to buy your meds, hey, the State of California’s political class and special interests couldn’t care less: they want your money and the rule of law doesn’t apply to them.

If you understand that a purported tax liability is one issue and due process is another far more important issue, then you understand that we now live in an totalitarian nation where “rule of law” is only invoked at the convenience of the political and financial Elites for propaganda purposes.

The state of California has three basic methods of looting law-abiding citizens:

1. The old “you didn’t pay a $25 filing fee, the fine is now $499 which we took from your bank account.” Never mind you have the cancelled check endorsed by the state, proving they received it and cashed it; the Board of Kafkaesque Authority claims “we didn’t get the check” and loots your account for the $499 (true story.)

2. “Fishing expeditions” where companies and citizens are dunned for taxes and fees they might owe, though there is no evidence they do in fact owe fees and taxes. I received many emails describing these fishing expeditions, for example, merely having a license is “evidence” that you must have unreported income.

3. Enforce all sorts of dubious claims, most importantly:

A. That anyone collecting a pension from work performed while residing in California is liable for California taxes on that pension, regardless of where they live;

B. Any income resulting from something invented in California must be reported as income in California, regardless of where the income is derived from or where the inventor now lives.

In other words, residency has no meaning. Any income remotely connected to California–for example, you had the idea while residing in the state–obligates you to pay California income tax on that idea in perpetuity.

You know the dominant emotion that the government at every level generates in law-abiding, taxpaying citizens? Fear. And for good reason.

Welcome to the United States of Orwell, Part 2: Law-Abiding Taxpayers Are Treated as Criminals While the Real Criminals Go Free (March 27, 2012)

“I received a letter last year that we owed the state of California’s Franchise Tax Board $90,000 for taxes in the year 2008. We replied to the Franchise Tax board in a similar manner as RT stating that:

— Did not reside in California in 2008

— Did not file a State income tax return in California in 2008

— Did not have any outstanding tax issues with California in 2008

— Did no business in California in 2008

— Owned no property in California in 2008

The CA Franchise Tax board responded by putting a lien on us in the state – fortunately, our banks and assets have no business in CA or I am certain our accounts would have been robbed as well.

After a great deal of uncertainty and angst, I found an accountant in CA who advised us that we needed to file a complete CA tax return for 2008 even though we did not owe any tax. We filed the return and received a response that we owed the state $625 to cover the State’s collection fees. We paid the fee and within two weeks received a “refund” check for the $625.

On reflection, we felt as if we had been “held up” by some powerful gangsters and if it had not been for an honest tax accountant we would have suffered much financial damage.”

The 5 Best Arguments Against Trump’s Airstrike On Syria

Posted: 09 Apr 2017 01:31 PM PDT

We Are Change

1. War Wasn’t Declared in Congress

President Trump took an oath to protect the Constitution of the United States of America on January 20th, an oath which is a treasured and sacred tradition in U.S. culture. Within months of making that oath, unknowingly or not, he has already violated the Constitution.

Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution claims that only Congress has the authority to declare war. It is difficult to then measure if it is legal for the president to authorize acts of war without Congress. After all, isn’t an act of war similar to a declaration of war? In many cases of history, an act of war is a declaration of war. The United States Congress is supposed to formalize this process by declaring war based on the will of their constituents.

2. The War Powers Resolution Bypasses The Constitution And Congress

Since the Constitution is a little unclear on when a U.S. president can authorize attacks, the War Powers Resolution came about during the Vietnam War. The resolution states that:

“The constitutional powers of the President as Commander-in-Chief to introduce United States Armed Forces into hostilities, or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances, are excercised only pursuant to (1) a declaration of war, (2) specific statutory authorization, or (3) a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.”

In other words, the president is only allowed to authorize attacks with a declaration of war, “specific statutory authorization,” or a national emergency brought about by some sort of attack. It is questionable if these scenarios match the airstrike bombing that was carried out on Syria April 6th.

For this reason, Senator Rand Paul had urged President Trump to come to the halls of Congress and carry out a debate there before committing any further actions:

Sen @RandPaul on #Syria airstrikes: “I think it’s unconstitutional.” pic.twitter.com/kQE0l7RG9O

— FOX Business (@FoxBusiness) April 7, 2017

President Trump followed up with a letter to Congress (below) arguing that all he has to do is inform Congress, however, depending on how you interpret the text of the War Powers Resolution, specifically “specific statutory authorization,” this might not be the case.

Regardless, it is difficult to imagine the writers of the Constitution to have envisioned the President with unlimited military control, only having to inform Congress of each action he directs. Even if it means that troops are pulled out within 60 days, as required in section 5(b) of the law.

An act of war is something that you cannot take back once it happens, and if an act of war triggers an international war, it is easy to become involved in an unconstitutional war, following the War Powers Resolution.

Furthermore, there is no evidence from recent history that illustrates a President will actually follow the requirements in the War Powers Resolution verbatim, considering the last declaration of war was in 1941, and we have had several years-long conflicts in the years following.

3. There Is No Proof Assad Ordered The Chemical Attacks

This one is pretty simple. If there is “no doubt” Assad ordered the Chemical attacks as U.S. officials have alleged, then there should be no need for a further investigation, right?

However, recent reports have surfaced from multiple media outlets that the Pentagon is investigating possible Russian involvement in the attack. In other words, This illustrates that some people high up in the U.S. political community aren’t so sure that it was Assad who ordered the chemical attacks.

UN officials from Kazakhstan also aren’t convinced that Assad is behind the attacks, and called for further investigations into the attacks today in an emergency UN Security Council meeting.

4. It Violates Geneva Convention International Law

The Geneva Convention are a set of international laws for armed conflict for any country involved in the treaty. The Geneva Convention which took place on August 12, 1949 specifically outlaws the use of terrorism, which is defined according the the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations as “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.”

To be fair, this definition should hold true no matter who the perpetrator is, right?

In Trump’s speech announcing the Syrian attacks, he said that “Years of previous attempts at changing Assad’s behavior have all failed and failed very dramatically,” meaning that part of the intent behind this attack was to coerce the Syrian government by the use of force for a political objective. This seems very close to what has been defined as terrorism.

This isn’t the only time Trump has supported the breaking of Geneva Convention rules, as a presidential candidate, he campaigned for breaking these rules by campaigning to kill the families of terrorists saying, “when you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families.” The “willful killing” of civilians is considered a grave breach of the Geneva Convention. To hear him say these remarks, watch the video below:

5. The Attack Killed Children After Being Justified By Another Attack That Killed Children

In an emotional speech, Trump was asserting that Assad’s alleged attack produced “a slow and brutal death for so many” including “beautiful babies,” furthermore asserting that “no child of god should ever suffer such horror.”

After making a clear effort to illustrate the fact that innocent civilians were killed in the recent chemical attack on Syria, Trump announced his decision to airstrike Syria:

It turns out that the attack authorized by President Trump did the same thing, specifically killing four children according to reports. Many mothers tell their kids that “two wrongs don’t make a right” perhaps these words of wisdom should be relayed to our president.

United States UN Ambassador Lies and Says “Entire International Community” Supports Ousting Assad

Posted: 09 Apr 2017 12:57 PM PDT

We Are Change

Nikki Haley is a U.S. ambassador to the United Nations who has recently appeared on CNN to express the latest Syria policy. When asked by the reporter if regime change was the priority, this is what she said:

“So, there’s multiple priorities. Getting Assad out is not the only priority. So what we’re trying to do is… obviously defeat ISIS. Secondly, we don’t see a peaceful Syria with Assad in there. Thirdly, get the Iranian influence out, and then finally move towards a political solution because at the end of the day this is a complicated solution there are no easy answers, and political solution is going to have to happen, but we know… there’s not any sort of option where a political solution is going to happen with Assad at the head of the regime… If you look at his actions, if you look at the situation it’s going to hard to see a government that’s peaceful and stable with Assad.”

The CNN reporter followed up by clarifying if regime change is the policy, she states

“Regime change is something that we think is going to happen… This isn’t about policy or not this is about thoughts. So when you look at the thoughts, there is no political solution, that any of us can see with Assad at the lead… I don’t think that’s something for the United States to decide… that’s something that the entire international community has decided, that it’s going to be hard for us to see Assad in that role.”

As we can see, Haley claims that the “entire international community” has decided in favor of regime change. However, if we back up a couple days and watch the UNSC emergency meeting following the U.S. airstrikes that many countries, most importantly, Russia, do not believe this to be the case.

Egypt supports a cease-fire, and recently condemned the “competition” between the UN security council, furthermore asserting that the Syrian people should be in charge of their people. Bolivia also argued that the United States could very well be deceiving the world about what’s going on, using a picture of Collin Powell as a prop to argue their point.

Other countries also asserted that an investigation is needed before action is taken. In short, the “entire international community” is not quite sure regime change is the policy. To hear each of the UNSC countries’ policies, check out the video below.

Since the United States’ airstrike on Syria on April 6th, there has been an uproar from other actors in this international dilemma. Multiple countries have made military moves,  and it seems that a political solution is being outweighed by the threat of force.

There is also reports of a McMaster-Petraeus plan being developed to put 150,000 troops in Syria. If this were to happen, a political solution will only happen after a military solution.

Russia and Iran Remind U.S. that Syria has Allies Who Will Respond with Force if Further Provoked

Article via ZeroHedge

A statement issued on Sunday by a joint command centre consisting of forces of Russian, Iran and allied militia alliance supporting Syrian President Bashar al Assad said that Friday’s US strike on the Syrian air base crossed “red lines” and it would “respond with force” to any new aggression while increasing their level of support to their ally.

In the statement published by the group on media outlet Ilam al Harbi, the pro-Assad alliances says that “what America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well.”

Earlier on Sunday the UK’s Defence Secretary, Sir Michael Fallon, demanded Russia rein in Mr Assad (by which he really meant be willing to accept a new Syrian regime with a pro-western puppet leader, and one who is willing to allow the Qatar gas pipeline to cross the country on its way to Europe.

Fallon also claimed that Moscow is “responsible for every civilian death” in the chemical attack on Khan Sheikhun and said Putin was responsible for the brutal killings “by proxy”, because it was the Syrian president’s “principal backer.” The defense minister said the attack had happened “on their watch” and that Vladimir Putin must now live up to previous promises that Mr Assad’s chemical weapons had been destroyed.  His comments came after Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson pulled out of a Moscow visit hours before he was due to fly.
* * *

Finally, for those who are unclear about the core geopolitical tensions that are at the base of the long-running Syrian proxy war, the answer is – as so often tends to be – commodities and specifically natural gas, as we first explained in 2013, and as summarized in the following October 2016 article courtesy of Eric Zuesse (see also “Competing Gas Pipelines Are Fueling The Syrian War & Migrant Crisis“)

The Oil-Gas War Over Syria (In 4 Maps)

Turkey’s Anadolu News Agency, though government-run, is providing remarkably clear and reliable diagrammatic descriptions of the current status of the U.S – and – fundamentalist – Sunni, versus Russia – and – Shia – and – NON – fundamentalist – Sunni, sides, in the current oil-and-gas war in the Middle East, for control over territory in Syria, for construction of oil-and-gas pipelines through Syria supplying fuel into the world’s largest energy-market: Europe. Russia is now the dominant supplier of both oil and gas, but its ally Iran is a Shiite gas-powerhouse that wants to share the market there, and Russia has no objection.

Qatar is a Sunni gas-powerhouse and wants to become the main supplier of gas there, and Saudi Arabia is a Sunni oil-powerhouse, which wants to become the major supplier of oil, but Saudi oil and Qatari gas would be pipelined through secular-controlled (Assad’s) Syria, and this is why the U.S. and its fundamentalist-Sunni allies, the Sauds, and Qataris, are using Al Qaeda and other jihadists to conquer enough of a strip through Syria so that U.S. companies such as Halliburton will be able safely to place pipelines there, to be marketed in Europe by U.S. firms such as Exxon. Iran also wants to pipeline its gas through Syria, and this is one reason why Iran is defending Syria’s government, against the U.S.-Saudi-Qatari-jihadist invasion, which is trying to overthrow and replace Assad.

Here are the most-informative of Anadolu’s war-maps:

The first presents the effort by many countries to eliminate ISIS control over the large Iraqi city of Mosul. A remarkably frank remark made in this map is “An escape corridor into Syria will be left for Daesh [ISIS] so they can vacate Mosul” – an admission that the U.S. – Saudi – Qatari team want the ISIS jihadists who are in Mosul to relocate into Syria to assist the U.S. – Saudi – Qatari effort there to overthrow and replace the Assad government:

Syria

The second is about the Egyptian government’s trying to assist the Syrian government’s defense against the Saudi – U.S. – Qatari invasion of Syria, at Aleppo, where Syria’s Al Qaeda branch is trying to retain its current control over part of that large city. The Saud family are punishing the Egyptian government for that:

Syria

Here is Russia’s proposed gas-pipeline, which would enable Russia to reduce its dependence upon Ukraine (through which Russia currently pipes its gas into Europe). Obama conquered and took over Ukraine in February 2014 via his coup that overthrew the democratically elected neutralist Ukrainian President there:

Syria

In addition, there is the following map from oil-price.com:

Syria

That map shows the competing Shiia (Russia-backed) and Sunni (U.S.-backed) gas-pipelines into Europe — the central issue in the invasion and defense of Syria.

On 21 September 2016, Gareth Porter headlined “The War Against the Assad Regime Is Not a ‘Pipeline War’”, and he pointed out some errors in Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s account that had been published under the headline “Syria: Another Pipeline War”. Porter argued: “It’s easy to understand why that explanation would be accepted by many anti-war activists: it is in line with the widely accepted theory that all the US wars in the Middle East have been ‘oil wars’ — about getting control of the petroleum resources of the region and denying them to America’s enemies.”

But the ‘pipeline war’ theory is based on false history and it represents a distraction from the real problem of US policy in the Middle East — the US war state’s determination to hold onto its military posture in the region. Porter ignored the key question there, as to why the US war state has a determination to hold onto its military posture in the region. Opening and protecting potential oil-gas-pipeline routes are important reasons why. Clearly, Kennedy’s documentation that the CIA was trying as early as 1949 to overthrow Syria’s secular government so as to allow to the Sauds a means of cheaply transporting their oil through Syria into Europe, remains unaffected by any of the objections that Porter raised to Kennedy’s article. The recent portion of Kennedy’s timeline is affected, but not his basic argument.

Furthermore, any military strategist knows that the US war state is intimately connected to the U.S. oil-and-gas industries, including pipelines (oilfield services) as well as marketing (Exxon etc.). And Porter got entirely wrong what that connection (which he ignored) actually consists of: it consists of U.S. government taxpayer-funded killers for those U.S. international corporations. Here is how Barack Obama put it, when addressing graduating cadets at West Point, America’s premier military-training institution:

Russia’s aggression toward former Soviet states unnerves capitals in Europe, while China’s economic rise and military reach worries its neighbors. From Brazil to India, rising middle classes compete with us, and governments seek a greater say in global forums. And even as developing nations embrace democracy and market economies, 24-hour news and social media makes it impossible to ignore the continuation of sectarian conflicts and failing states and popular uprisings that might have received only passing notice a generation ago.

It will be your generation’s task to respond to this new world. The question we face, the question each of you will face, is not whether America will lead, but how we will lead – not just to secure our peace and prosperity, but also extend peace and prosperity around the globe.

He was saying there that America’s military is in service to U.S.-based international corporations in their competition against those of Russia, Brazil, China, India, and anywhere else in which “rising middle classes compete with us”. Those places are what Gareth Porter referred to as “America’s enemies”.

Economic competitors are “enemies”. Obama thinks that way, and even a progressive journalist such as Porter doesn’t place into a skeptical single – quotation – mark – surround, the phrase ‘America’s enemies’ when that phrase is used in this equational context. On both the right (Obama) and the left (Porter), the equation of a government and of the international corporations that headquarter in its nation — the treatment of the military as being an enforcement-arm for the nation’s international corporations — is simply taken for granted, not questioned, not challenged.

RFK Jr. was correct, notwithstanding some recent timeline-errors. Syria is “Another Pipeline War”, and Obama is merely intensifying it. (On 9 November 2015, I offered a different account than RFK Jr. provided of the recent history — the Obama portion — of the longstanding U.S. aggression against Syria; and it links back to Jonathan Marshall’s excellent articles on that, and to other well-sourced articles, in addition to primary sources, none of which contradict RFK Jr.’s basic view, “Syria: Another Pipeline War”).

Another portion of Porter’s commentary is, however, quite accurate: America’s ‘Defense’ (or mass-killing-abroad) industries (such as Lockheed Martin) are not merely servants of the U.S. government, but are also served by the U.S. government: “the US war state’s determination to hold onto its military posture in the region” is protection of the major market — the Middle Eastern market — for U.S. ‘Defense’ products and services. It’s not only America’s firms in the oil, gas, and pipelines, industries, which benefit from America’s military; it is also America’s firms in the mass-killing industries, that do.

To the extent that the public (here including Barack Obama and Gareth Porter) do not condemn the presumption that “the business of America is business”, or that a valid function of U.S. – taxpayer – funded military and other foreign-affairs operations is to serve the stockholders of U.S. international corporations, the hell (such as in Syria) will continue. Gareth Porter got lost among the trees because he failed to see (and to point to) that forest.

REPORT: Petraeus Working Behind Scenes With McMaster To Put 150,000 Troops In Syria

We Are Change

Independent journalist and author Mike Cernovich has reported that current National Security Advisor, H.R. McMaster is manipulating intelligence reports given to President Donald Trump regarding Syria to push for an invasion in Syria.

I just published “H. R. McMaster Manipulating Intelligence Reports to Trump, Wants 150,000 Ground Soldiers in Syria” https://t.co/WZQO7thqeq

— Mike Cernovich ?? (@Cernovich) April 9, 2017

Cernovich alleged that Petraeus’ influence in the NSC remains strong and he is working through McMaster.

McMaster is plotting how to sell a massive ground war in Syria to President Trump with the help of disgraced former CIA director and convicted criminal David Petraeus, who mishandled classified information by sharing documents with his mistress.

As NSA, McMaster’s job is to synthesize intellience reports from all other agencies. President Trump is being given an inncurate picture of the situation in Syria, as McMaster is seeking to involve the U.S. in a full scale war in Syria.

The McMaster-Petraeus plan calls for 150,000 American ground troops in Syria.

Many special operations veterans including General Joseph Votel have raised serious concerns about McMaster’s plans for Syria.

Sources also suggest that McMaster is sharing classified information with Petraeus, whose security clearance was revoked.

McMaster was called Petraeus’ golden child by some commenters, noting the strong influence Petraeus had over McMaster. Petraeus was considered for the position of NSA, but withdrew his name from consideration once McMaster’s name was included on the short-list. McMaster’s appointment allowed Petraeus to maintain control over the NSC without bringing his considerable baggage to the position.

Derek Harvey, the top Middle East adviser in the NSC, has close ties with Petraeus and is close with McMaster. (Harvey reportedly faces a massive EEO complaint from subordinates, although that investigation remains open.)

Harvey and McMaster have been trying to subvert Joint Chiefs Chairman General Joseph Dunford and Secretary of Defense James Mattis. Mattis and Dunford support working with our allies in the fight against ISIS. Harvey and McMaster are advocating for a massive American-only ground force.

Cernovich stated that General Mike Flynn and Steve Bannon were standing between the plan to start a war in the Middle East.

Two men were standing in between another U.S.-led war in the Middle East and McMaster?—?General Mike Flynn and Steve Bannon.

Flynn was removed after Susan Rice unmasked classified information concerning him. Bannon’s role within the White House was weakened by McMaster, who demanded Bannon be removed from his advisory position at NSC.

McMaster’s friends in the media, as part of a broader strategy to increase McMaster’s power, have claimed Jared Kushner and Bannon had a major falling out. In fact Kushner and Bannon are united in their opposition to McMaster’s plan.

If McMaster and Petraeus have their way, America will find itself in another massive war in the Middle East.

Mike Cernovich is the same independent journalist who broke the Susan Rice unmasking story before the mainstream media.
